I wanted to get a quick matting job done. Came to the Sparks location and Jo helped both me and my roommate with quick, professional assistance. A few days later I took another photo and frame into the Reno location and was told without even listening to what I wanted that it would “take at least a week”. Instead of staying there, I took my frame and photo back to the Sparks location where Jo again, looked and listened to what I needed. Brought up a mock review on the computer and then promptly went into the back and cut the matte for me, again in 10-15 minutes. I was able to take my frame home that same evening and hang it on the wall. Very satisfied customers.

I like Michaels in general, but this store was a mess. A ton of items were not in stock and the clearance was mixed in with non clearance items. I think that confused customers probably abandoned items there, but no employees are going through to check and put things right. My review would have been 3 stars, except for the wonderful cashier who helped us check out. She had to price check 4 items (another problem-- the organization is quite bad in certain areas and items are missing tags), and found out all of that information for us as efficiently as possible. She forgot to scan my coupon first, despite me reminding her well in advance to use coupons first in a good assertive volume, through my mask. She apparently didnt hear me. I dont blame her, I blame the mask. They are not good for communication. I was frustrated and she calmly and kindly had a manager void the order and re-scanned every item for me just to use the coupon. It saved me a significant amount and was so kind of her to do so graciously. Her behavior makes me think that shopping here might be worth it, despite the disarray, if the staff are going to provide such excellent service. She was a gem!

Has an issue with one of my photos that was dry mounted. They back their work 100%. It will be redone with new photo. Its nice to do business with a company who cares about their customers satisfaction.

Frame I ordered was replaced by different one. I was offered to send back for frame I had picked but as it was a gift I had to except it. I asked if there was a price difference I was told no. As one I picked was more ornate and this one plain I thought there would be. It was not cheap for a photo frame.

Great decorations for holidays and savings. And even better craft supply store!

So much good stuff. I was getting a canvas and paint supplies, also parachute cord. But browsing all the frames, and toy kits for kids.

The micheals in north reno is always a good get away for an afternoon. They have good merchandize and when they put stuff on clearance you can get very nice items for Pennys on the dollar. The new assistant manager Megan is super nice and can help you find almost anything you need fast, if your in a hurry.

Im a nerd and I have Artistic interests, Michaels is always tidy, well stocked and the staff are very helpful. I prefer a brick and mortar store because I cant always tell what Im looking at on a webpage and Im tactile. If I cant feel it and touch it and guage its purpose for whatever task Im working on, it doesnt help that it has a million likes if its poor quality or wrong for my intended plot. I recommend Michaels if you want a good well rounded arts and crafts and hobby store. Thank you !

I frequent this location most often as it is the closest one to me. The staff is friendly and helpful. For the most part this location keeps items stocked, there are a few occasions (usually winter) where there is a truck that has been delayed so things are a bit baron. But all in all, this is a great store! Keep it up!

I was looking for a sketchbook so that I could start learning how to draw with oil pastels. They had a Good variety to choose from and for good prices. They even gave me a 40% discount. They help make it inexpensive for people like me who are trying to look for a new hobby.

Gotta love Michaels. Coupons are sent all the time. The deals are great with the coupons. They almost always have what you need in a wide variety of arts, crafts and seasonal materials.

Sales were on point. It seemed like most items were at least 40% off. Mind you this was in September. Not sure if that is an every year event. Clean store and helpful staff.

My granddaughter dropped a bottled of gesso, the young lady we found to help us clean the mess up insisted on doing it herself. She was so polite and no way judgmental. Yes I paid for it.

So I’d say yesterday 7/5/19 about 3:30-4:00 in the afternoon we went to this store. We were looks for candles and some other things. My wife and I and two young boys were there now my kids and boys have been really good kids all day. As we were looking at some candles get ready to buy some my boy were being kids and your typical boys looking at toys they had out. They were looking at a rack of balls and some water guns no big deal. My 6 year old boy just happened to bouncing a ball in the store like any other kid would do. I get it I understand I was a kid he was not throwing the ball or even hurting anyone. Wasn’t causing any issues. Then one of the employees and tbh I don’t care who you are or why you did it. That blasted my son on the loud speaker in front of the whole store. Saying would the customer bouncing the ball in the store needs to stop. First off he is 6 years old he doesn’t need to put into tears and blasted in front of the whole store. If you guys had just come over and asked nicely for my son to stop or if you had realized he was just 6 years old that would have been one thing but, you don’t blast a 6 year old boy on the loud speaker in front of the store just saying. News flash if you don’t want kids playing with toys and balls and just being kids don’t put that stuff out on your sales floor. I’m sure anyone who has had or has kids would understand. Needless to say we put back the ball and the other products we were going to buy and left the store. I wouldn’t be writing this had the just came to us and asked nicely instead of putting a 6 year old boy on blast in front of the whole store. It’s going to be a while if at all before we shop there again. I will also be sure to let as many people know how rude and uncalled for this was and advise them that this store doesn’t deserve our business.

I went in for some acrylic paints and to research some of the self striping yarn cakes that are so popular right now. They have certainly expanded their yarn area at this store since the last time I was in, and they have a number of different brands to choose from. The check out line moved quickly and we were out in good time. The store was clean and the sales clerk who helped us was pleasant. Will be returning!

LOVE this store! I have to keep my budget in mind the whole time Im there. The staff has always been really helpful every time I shop. They typically find me a coupon faster than I can from my email.

Since Michaels is a UPS access point for package drop-off, I decided to visit this location on 10/31/2019 @ approx. 1:45PM to drop-off a Amazon return package. When I entered the store, I did not notice directional signs indicating where to take UPS packages. So I proceeded to the desk at the back of the store. I waited there for at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged by a sales clerk who advised me to come with her to the front checkstands, because she was not given a tablet to scan in packages. While waiting at the checkstand. I noticed that this sales clerk was taking an unreasonable amount of time trying to figure out how to log into her scanning tablet. Her manager approached her projecting a bad attitude with regards to showing her how to log in to the tablet. After about 10 minutes into the transaction. The clerk tells me that I can leave the package there and they can can it later, at which point I not satisfied nor confident about leaving the package with the store staff without witnessing someone physically scanning in the package (because the package was valued at about $250.00). With an unpleasant attitude, the lady clerk eventually was able to log into the tablet and scanned in the package. She took the package and placed it under the counter without even saying thank you or have a good day. After this experience I will no longer use Michaels to drop-off UPS packages. Also, I will think twice about ever shopping at this store because the staff is unfriendly. I will spend my hard-earned money where I AM TREATED LIKE A HUMAN.....

Employees were great. They said they just lost their lady that was the most knowledgeable with jewelry making and couldnt really help me in that aspect. But they put their best foot forward in trying and kept a great attitude through all my questions, lol. Always a clean store also. And wide variety of all craft and arts products.

I went in and it was very busy. I knee where things were and able to find what I needed. There wasnt a lot of employees on the floor. I had a screen shot of coupons so I was ready when I checked out. The check out line wasnt too long and moved fast. The employees were pleasant and didnt rush me as I found my coupon on my phone. I was in and out quickly.

Was looking for tabletop tree. Stopped & guy took me to where they were & lucked out as had just got them in. Got in line & was out the door in 20 minutes or less. Tree is perfect & they were very nice. Kudos on great help. Was inexpensive as well, compared to Home Depot & Walmart. Thanks Michaels!!!!

My Husband and I love to come! The service is awesome and the food is hot, fresh and wonderful. We have tried several different dishes and they have all been amazing. The gyro is so good!! The tezeki is hand made! Its soooooo good!

I visited the framing department to have glass replaced and the matting changed on a very old picture. Sue, was great! She helped me pick out the color for the mat and explained how the picture would be sealed to protect it, due to the age of it. I was extremely pleased when I picked the picture up!!!! I was really impressed today with the quality and wide range of stocking stuffers Michaels had(2 days before Christmas) for $5 and under. They even had great kids gifts for great prices as well. And I can always count on them to have the art supplies I need for my artist.

I love Micheals as a hole. I ordered a lot of my stuff on line and have it delivered to the on sight store. As I have many times placed the order waited for the email my stuff was ready for pick up. I ordered some of the white cubes for the craft room. I decided I didnt want one of the ones that sit on the top of the cubes so I was going to return that one and one of the cubes was missing a piece. Thats 2 cubes I was taking back. I wanted to get new ones. One like the one missing the piece and a different block to replace the one I didnt like. I didnt want money back or anything. Just a returnWhen I shop they always ask for my phone number that links all my purchases with my phone number. So I figured the pick orders would be the same way. No thats no they way it is. Well the young girl said she couldnt do it. I said I dont want money back I just want the new blocks. She was making all these crazy sounds looking thru computer to see if she could find my order. Then she discusses with the other lady what was going on. The way she made us feel is we were trying to rip Micheals off. Then here comes the manager on duties.....so we explain to her whats going on we dont want cash we only want to exchange the two items that I dont have my reciept that I figured they could look up my order with my phone number. After 15 minutes telling them we only want to exchange them for new ones not money. My daughter says can you return these and put them on a micheals card then we will buy the new ones. So that started another 15 minutes of shame for us. But in the end they gave us the gift card and as I told them I got them on sale they were half off so 25.00 each one. Some how it gave us a extra 5.00 on the gift card. We left that at the store because we didnt want anything for free. Still shaking my head. I know better than going to the Sparks Micheals that I should always use Reno because they have the greatest customer service. Already drove an hour to get to Reno. But never again. Thanks

I shop at Michaels when Im looking for paints and brushes for projects for my home. They people ate always helpful and can answer your questions about a product.

Being my first time in the store, I didnt kniw what to expect. Went in there for more color pencils and a pencil sharpener. Took some time to find what I was looking for, but since it was my first experience I decided to take my time and look around. All in all its a great store, will definitely shop there again.

This is the fun store they have lots of good craft ideas for kids but it seems like everything is almost always on sale its like some sort of marketing game they always have coupons to get everything half off. The staff seems very helpful and nice
