This place gives artist and creatives a place to be an artist. From the wood shop to the welding it is a place to start exploring and creating things you only could images be in your dreams. As a painter I am able to get into a space to focus on art.They even have a small gallery where art can be shown. So many other things like seeing and screen printing. Go check it out, on Sundays they host an open house at 1am and 1 pm.

A great resource in our community that is there to help you in any way they can. By far the best opportunity to be a Maker, this place allows you to use the equipment that is needed to chase your dreams and follow your passions. This place I a huge collective of knowledge & free thinking, especially outside the box. It allows you the ability to use everything from design software such as Rhinoceros & Solidworks & to use hardware like 3D printers and CNC plasma cutters. Came in for a tour and no one was at the front desk. Got gawked at for 15 minutes before leaving. Obviously a place for people in the circle and not great for outsiders just looking for a space to create or meet other artists. Messiest studio I have seen in my life, even at art school. Clear that people just leave their stuff wherever and there is not actual organization. Not accessible whatsoever, no professionalism, not as advertised.

I tried the silks training, I sure need more upper strength! It was fun. I recommend this place!

Got to play, Why did she let the old white guy in before me while I waited patiently outside for her to finish with someone else? while checking in. She smirked when I called her out on it. I even gave her a chance to be polite and address me before the old white guy, but she did not. Not cool. It poisoned the whole experience, and reminded me most nonprofits are not worth their donations. Even some friendly artists inside couldnt undo the damage she did. Overall, an uncomfortable self guided tour.

The Generator is the most amazing Art Space I think I will ever come across. I walked in a week prior to this post and have been back everyday since.Its essentially a community of amazing artistic people that provide resources, workshops and support with almost anything artistic you can think of.This is a community trying to empower artist through every aspect that they may need help in.Its like an art gym. You pay monthly, you have access to all the resources in the building and plus so trainers too!Not to mention the fact that this place makes insanely good art that you see all the time such as the Whale downtown. Come check it out even if you just slightly interested. It honestly cant hurt and youll only gain! This place is based off the community it greats so lets make this community bigger and stronger together!

Went to Punk Rock Flea Market. Great art and things to buy. Great music and food trucks. Every February, I think

Havent got to do anything yet here yet but they have volunteer programs right now its kind of dead but they still got some things going on and theyre very creative and accepting

This is the place to be if youre an artist. I hold workshops here from time to time. I love watching the BurningMan art being built and they have a great open kitchen.
