Really neat stuff to see and they have a fudge shop in the back.
Do you like flawed logic? Are you into torturing your brain with bad ideas? Then this place is for you. All your Chick tract, Mike Huckabee, and Ray Comfort needs can be met here so enjoy.
This shop has an interesting display of taxidermy, but is an embarrassment as a Bible-believing creationist. The Creation musuem is full of amazing animals, but also thoughtless jabs at the intelligence of evolutionists, with no credible or thought-provoking information as to why creation might be a plausible theory to consider. I think the owners mean well, but I would never take a non-Christian friend there. However, the fudge is great and my three-year old loved looking at all the animals.
Safe to say this is one of the more interesting corners of southern pines. Enjoy a wild walk and take in the sights of the various animals and relics of a past time.
Wonderful exhibit of tools and animals and Americana memorabilia. We were warmly welcomed by the women who run the Christian Bookstore. Truly lovely people and an excellent stop in lovely Southern Pines.
Giving 5 stars because going to this museum the first time was a surprise. Now it’s amusing! Whenever I have family in town or friends our first thing is to go to the museum and watch their faces!!! So happy for this entertainment!
Located in the down stairs part of a Christian bookstore Creation Museum has it all. Please do not misunderstand, just because the Creation Museum is located in a Christian bookstore does not mean that you have to be a church goer to appreciate what this place has to offer! That is definitely not the case! If you was not to come because you wasnt a church goer or even a Christian would totally be a disservice to you! One really doesnt have to much to do with the other honestly. It has so many animals and even some albino animals as well which are pretty rare and also it has tools. Old and antique, but also very cool looking and most I never knew existed. You follow the maze of halls looking at all the different things that the Creation Museum has to offer but dont get lost. If you do though its ok youll just go around in a circle. You go in by the giant suit of armor which is about 15 feet tall and really a sight to see in itself and come out on the other side of the store. Before you go into the Creation Museum be sure to check out the Christian bookstore. If youre not into Chrictian bookstores thats ok too there are other cool things that are in the top part of the store not just books. They have 3D cards. I had never seen those before and I havent seen them since actually. They have them in almost every kind of way you could want. There are tractors popping out and princesss on swings, swinging out, they have animals popping out as well and ect. They have a large variety of different types of 3D cards. They also have a large variety of stuffed animals some rare looking ones as well. Some like what you might see down stairs in the Creation Museum. They have animal statues in a variety of shapes and sizes of different types of animals as well. If you like what I had to say please let me know and hit like. Thank you so much.
What a treat ! Totally surprised to find this amazing collection of hand tools and taxidermy combined in this basement museum. Plus you can have a sweet treat of some fudge and browse the books in the street level shop.
Very interesting. Taxidermy, old hammers, knives, saws, wood planes and levels. While walking on multicolored shag carpet. Fun 20 minute walk.
Amazing place many things to see!
Complete idiots. Good for a laugh if you have nothing better to do.

Bizarre doesnt even sum it up. Its like walking into the head of Pat Robertson and Jim Baker. A really weird, dusty place that makes little sense
