One of my favorite municipal courses. Greens are definitely looking better this year. The rough is ROUGH!!! Could be because of the excessive rain we have been receiving lately and cant be cut as often. Rough is definitely too long though. Other than that I had a good round. Be aware that you can book a tee time online and save money. 11 dollars saved is 11 dollars saved!

Payed $26 for “9” with a cart. Wouldn’t be a bad price if the course was well maintained. Had a tee time and there was people still directly in front of us. And followed them throughout the day.. :/I will not be returning

Great golf course! Lots of dog legs left and right. Not many bunkers. Every thing cut real nice. Greens run good. Great experience. Will be going back.

Course is in great shape. Everyone gets their own cart if you are concerned about Covid.

Much improved over the last few years! Greens are healthy, and fairways are in good shape. A few tee boxes need some work but overall much better.

New grounds staff has really done a great job bringing the place back in shape. Was kind of iffy the past few seasons. Great job, everyone!

Awesome service, took my mom to the range, she never swung a club before. She had a blast and having great peo people to talk to while we took shelter in the club house do to rain was the icing on the cake.

Awesome course. Great greens., beautiful fairways. I live in Florida and play on some amazing courses, the Elbel course is just as amazing as any course Ive played in Florida. Ill be back to play it again. Cant wait. Played again today, it was great.

Well maintained course for a good price. Paid $25 for 18 and a cart. Staff was friendly.

Way over priced for condition of course. Should be fall rates. But $40/person normally now is a far stretch. And yes they are aerating fairways, but conditions are back not because of this. Will not go back. Funny how the only good reviews come from locals in leagues probably

Ive had very bad experiences here my last few time but this last time is ridiculous..... I made a tee time today at 11:30am, showed up 45 min early to hit range balls to warm up. the guy in the club house told me that he had paired me to play with another guy because I was a single player...It was not busy at all maybe 6 groups total out on the whole course...I told him that I like playing alone and that Im a very fast player with a 4 handicap and he wanted to pair me with a very elderly man that I knew we were on a different skill level..mind you the older gentleman was right there and said he had no problem letting me go off first sense he was a slower player. This made the guy in the club house so mad he took my range balls outta my hand and said I couldnt hit balls to warm up even tho I was 30 min early to my tee time and that I had to tee off right then if I wanted to play alone.

Arguably the best course layout in all of Northern Indiana. Course in magnificent condition. Other than Blackthorn (which is 3 miles away) this is a must play. Blackthorn probably slightly better.

Strong track. A few blind hills and not much back and forth leads to a fun round. Fairways are in pretty good shape and the greens/tee boxes are very nice. The GPS carts are awesome and they have a range. They do rolling rock sixer specials for 10 bucks sometimes.

Nice course with a lot of challenging dog leg holes. Stay out of the rough as it is somewhat deep and will alter your shot.

Course is not in good condition. Looks like City is trying to get out of owning this place. Its a shame it was once the best course around.

I used to play this course all the time, but I live in Plymouth now and this was the first time I played it this year and Ive never seen it so horrible the only saving grace was the greens were playable the rest of the course was a real,real disaster, cant believe this once beautiful course is the worst course Ive played in years, unforgivable

Beautiful hilly setting, lots of wildlife, cranes, geese, hawks, song birds, deer etc. The course is in rougher shape than it use to be.
