It was a great course. First time going. Didnt do to well but i had fun.

I just stopped by to use the driving range, but the course looks great. The golf season is coming to an end, but I will plan to play there as soon as I can.

One of the best courses in Indiana. Incredibly varied layout. Four sets of tees make it fair for every skill level. I wouldnt recommend trying to walk it, though, unless youre young and in excellent shape.

I attended a golf outing here and we had a lot of fun. The staff here was very helpful and pleasant.

Blackthorn Burger is the best here. Great Wraps too..

RANGER KEPT COMING OUT AND WATCHING US. HE SUGGESTED SKIPPING A FEW HOLES. GUESS US COUNTRY BOYS DONT BELONG IN THE BIG CITY. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH COURSE OR BEING RUSHED.

Went there for lunch. Food is amazing. Definitely worth the trip. They restaurant is open to the public. Dont know about the golf.

Really nice course, great terrain, well kept course

The course is beautiful. We paid our $65. and got off to a great start. Only 3 of us playing. They had loaded our clubs for us... albeit mine were on backwards. It helps to be able to access the pockets of your golf bag! The first 9 was great, although we were scolded by the Ranger for allowing a twosome to play through. At the turn we grabbed a snack as were the ones ahead & behind us. Actually had to wait to tee off hole 10... group ahead was now a foursome & taking extended potty break. Then off we go, and before we are done with that hole we are severely reprimanded again by the Ranger! We are told we must pick up the pace.!! First 9 took us 2 hours & 10 and that is Not Acceptable!!! Are you kidding me?? We are following the pace ahead of us!! And who can play their best with Ranger Rick looking over their shoulder? Only 2 of our 3 continued. At the finish we were told you have to unload bags on lower level. So now for $65 we are carrying our bags up a couple flights of stairs!! And one in our group has an obvious walking handicap! We addressed the situation with the staff and rudely got no satisfaction. Would we play there again.... let me know if hell is freezing today!! I’ll take that $65 & play 36 holes elsewhere!! And feel welcome.!!

Cant say much. I dont golf. But I see this place everyday looks clean and welll maintained.

Course was awesome last week

Beautiful and challenging golf course. Lots of hills, some blind shots and many well placed bunkers to avoid. Bunkers have good sand in them to make play out of them realistic. Some holes are very picturesque and others are pretty tough. In general, course is fair with ample width fairways but not wide open. You will definitely benefit from playing a round or 2 and get to know the different challenges the course present. Pricing was fair for this quality of course and location. Tee times were easy to get and staff was very friendly. Course play was a little bit slow at times, a ranger was not seen, but it was not too bad. Also has a great practice facility!

Played here for the first time the day after a Symetra Four Winds Inventational and the course was in excellent conditions! The layout was a lot of fun and very fair. I give the course itself 5 stars! The reason for a 4 star review however was due to the carts being programmed to be cart path only on some holes and some not, so it would randomly turn off when you left the path unexpectedly. The rough was recently cut back to everyday play and clumps of grass were left behind. A few times balls were lost when they should have been easily found in these conditions. Overall highly recommended and will definatly play again when in town.

We arrived at 5:30pm for close our friends wedding. It was a lovely experience Everything was perfect. Things were clean and the staff very helpful. The wedding seemed to go off without a hitch. I have faith thats a good sign to a happy marriage. Thanks for the great evening Blackthorn Golf Club.

Player friendly course. Generous fairways, yet still a challenging layout. Fast greens and the course is always well maintained. I especially love the last six holes. One of my favorite courses.

As a beginner, this was tough.But, I was treated like a queen. Nice carts.. full bar..

One of Indianas greatest venues. Always in prime condition from tee to green. Fantastic practice facility. 2 driving ranges. Huge putting green and magnificent chipping green with adjacent sand traps. To top it all off, a FABULOUSLY knowledgeable teaching pro Greg Kizer. From the moment you enter the pro shop coffee shop till you leave you are treated like royalty.

It was the most spectacular womens golfing event in this area that Ive ever seen! The young up and coming talent was amazing.

Bait and switch pricing. Beware scheduling times and playing here.Was at this course over the weekend. When scheduling a tee time on the website, the price said $41, the website also showed $41. However when we showed up, the owner, Tim, told us that was incorrect, that we needed to pay full price.It felt like a bait and switch tactic. Tim did nothing to try and make it right with us, he could have offered a slight discount or showed some flexibility, but refused to. He wasnt friendly about it all, which being the owner, tends to make me think the rest of the staff have a similar demeanor toward staff.Prices advertised are not what you are charge when you actually show up. Beware playing here.

Great golf with rolling fairways, huge greens and numerous tee boxes make this a course that can be played by all level of player. Have played it twice and loved it both times

The best golf course in the South Bend area. Staff is wonderful and the course is a blast to play. Conditions are outstanding and dont pass up playing this gem.

Had a dinner at the blue heron. It was not a welcoming atmosphere for a Christmas party. Food was decent.

Went for a11:57tee time with folds of Honor passes and was not allowed to use them, Friday at11:57is not the weekend and the passes said ND home weekend games, since when is Friday the weekend when you have to work on Friday, then they wouldnt let us use them at any discounted price not even online price$10cheaper, horrible customer relations and bad business and,it wasnt like they were busy either
