Strange tasting experience. Our server was not very familiar with the wines and didn’t tell us about each before pouring. The atmosphere is relaxed but seems dirty. 2 Stars for a very affordable tasting and decent wine for the price. $20 tasting fee waived with one bottle purchase. Bottles range from low $20s to mid $30s.

Fantastic wine tasting experience with a relaxing outdoor seating area where you can buy wine by the bottle/glass (roughly $30 per bottle) alongside snacks from the fridge including basic cheese, cured meats and soft drinks. The Merlot is full flavoured and smooth. It is one of the only places in the region that does wine futures barrel tasting included with five other wine tastes for only $20. You will love their succulent wines and other gifts available for purchase. Not an accessible venue. Staff are friendly, family owned

Really nice place, super friendly staff. We had the Syrah and was fantastic. Mega bonus points for being so dog friendly. Someone wrote a review saying “atmosphere relaxed but seems dirty” — don’t know what dirtiness she was talking about. The place is spotless inside and has a lovely outdoor patio. Will come again!

Loved my experience here. First day open after the COVID 19 closure. Host was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Tasted 2 wines and bought several bottles of both, along with joining the CARNEROS CLUB wine club. Shipping to my home state of NY. Looking forward to the selections for my next shipment!

When we arrived late, Roche Winery was about to close but its staff were all so sweet and let us do the tasting. I really loved its Rose and all others have characters. You will be surprise when your taste buds find some tastes like black pepper from one of them!! I strongly recommend here to all my good friends & family♡

Wonderful family winery! Close to the Sonoma Plaza. Outdoor seating. They put up a tent in the winter so you can still enjoy the outdoor setting. Super duper friendly staff! They also have a bit of a gift shop and some snacks.

A lovely place for wine tasting. We had a two for one coupon for tastings, but that was waived with the bottles of wine we got. They had sweet dessert wine here, so I was happy. The person pouring our wine was very knowledgeable and gave us a few “extra” tastes.

This was refreshing after going to some very snooty wineries Roche was an oasis for us. Spencer made us feel important and like we were his guests at a summer party with friends. The patio is comfortable and laid back, perfect way to spend the day.

My favorite winery, one of the few wineries that carries late harvest wines. If you prefer sweet wines this is the place for you, tastings range from $20-$30, waived if you purchase bottles. Outdoor and indoor bars, friendly staff.

We showed up near closing time, but the staff was super friendly in helping us select a bottle to take to the patio. We chose the Syrah, which was spectacular. The patio was very nice and had a great vibe for a Saturday night. Overall a great stop in downtown Sonoma once some of the larger wineries shut down for the night.

The wine testing was really nice. They have a great space to relax and a welcoming staff that is very informative, teaching about their wines and the Sonoma region in general. We joined their wine club, and after a few difficulties with our deliveries, Kyle worked with us to get it resolved. Were looking forward to enjoying our next shipment. Thanks.

On a whim this was our first stop when we got to Sonoma, and set a very high bar for the rest of our trip. Really great wine but as always, the service made this experience stand out. We loved working through our tasting at our own pace, and the outdoor seating is a must.

Great staff who love what they do and spend extra time educating about the wine making process! The pours were generous, the patio was amazing in June weather, and we decided we do like Chardonnay at this winery because the wine was just that good! We would definitely go back and look forward to when their vineyard tasting room opens.

We have been wrongly charged twice. Each time it takes days to straighten out because the winery wont return calls. Multiple unauthorized charges are a constant headache. Our account manager Kyle is unresponsive and his customer service skills are seriously lacking. The winery response was to refund our money AGAIN! Nice but this was after I asked to close our account. Someone should tell these people that a free bottle, an apology, and no bs excuse wouldve kept us as customers. Great wine worst customer service on planet.

Although they are known for prize winning Chardonnay, I have always enjoyed their reds (Pinot Noir and especially their Merlot). They have made a great Cabernet in the past but havent made one for quite a while. Not to be missed is their late harvest Merlot (a nice desert wine). They have great customer service.
