Molly made the best chicken fried catfish I ever did have... we spread out an old ratty blanket and nobody seemed to mind my belly hanging out of my kool aid stained wife beater... youre not allowed to drink so we just put wine in some diet coke cans...

This is a typical rest stop along rt 80 in PA. It has bathrooms and there are trees. Stopped to change drivers. Did not use the facilities. It looks nice.

Beautiful South Chagrin Reservation

Stopped at Harper Ridge Picnic Area for lunch while winter hiking the Emerald Necklace Trail that also shares a part of the Longest State Hiking Loop Trail the Buckeye Trail. Like most picnic area in winter there is no water supply and has to be trekked in. Does have a pit toilet next to the parking lot. The picnic shelter was not enclosed and snow drifts were present on the tables and along the walls. The Cleveland MetroPark Ranger patrol car drove by parking lot to check things out and didnt get out of the car. There were 2 other cars in the parking lot stopping for a break. They didnt stay long and I had the picnic area all to myself.

Simple park with open grass area, volleyball court, swings, gazebo, and picnic table. Generally not busy and good for groups.
