I was a guest of an owner This place was sooo nicely maintained. Pool table ping pong table pool jacuzzi sauna a game room and so quiet you barely hear the freeway Right across the street from the race track I was in a 1 bedroom with 2 full baths! The kitchen (with everything already there is awesome) is so great to have and its all CLEAN. Everything is clean. So many have told me not to buy a timeshare but seriously considering this place. Its right there off the freeway and the sand is right there down the street. So impressed.

The room was amazing. We just had to clean a dirty item that was left in the oven and wipe down sticky cabinets and stove top. Other than that the staff was great. I just wish Kate check out was available but we were told that the manager was not allowing late checkouts so we felt a bit rushed to leave. We were willing to pay the fee. Other than that we will stay again.

We have been coming here for 20 years! We love the location - near the beach; the racetrack and lots of great restaurants and attractions within an hour or less. The resort has fine a great job with recent renovations both inside and out. This year they are installing an elevator and the upgraded the pool area.

Mid-range hotel/resort but close the track and beach. Much of the outdoor amenities are limited, due to Covid. Hotel bar is open on select nights only.

Great time

We’ve stayed at the Winners Circle a few times before for a coastal getaway, but this was our first time without Del Mar crowds, which makes a huge difference. The resort itself has been thoroughly updated since our last stay. Everything is fresh and clean, new appliances, very comfortable bedding, and the outdoor amenities have been upgraded as well. Our only criticism might be lack of media connectivity to the TV, and pokey Internet... we will be back...

Lovely condo - great experience. We asked for a condo on the second floor, facing the courtyard. The view was much better than the parking lot, and the balcony was much more private. The trade off was hearing all the pool noise (which was fine). Condo updated, well-stocked and very clean.

Our room was comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed for our family of four. The pool, spa and sauna amenities were also excellent!! A great place in the best location near the coast and places to go, we will most certainly be back very soon!

Good location, Nice pool area, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Beaches are close and a short 15 minutes to downtown. The full kitchen and large bedroom with 2 full baths was great!

Traded through Interval International. Some sections of the resort are renovated, unfortunately for me we got one of the older rooms. Clean & family friendly. Restaurant right next door was super convenient.

Pool and BBQ area are nice staff is helpful and friendly. Close to solano beach 5 min drive. Rooms are in need of updating and maintenance. Lots of nats in the room foul smell under sink.

This property is a great value! My husband works while we travel, so we usually book a one-bedroom suite, and this hotel offered a large space for an incredible price. Although not fancy, it was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. Our only critique is slow wifi with limited devices allowed per room.

Very nice resort. Close to everywhere.Love the beautiful landscape and I enjoyed my stay at the pool area like jacuzzi at night. BBQ grills with bar stand with a chairs, fireplace ring with chairs around. Love the year round pool. Room is small but perfect for one person. Will come back again in the future.

The rooms are not so big but cozy. The appliances are also smaller but the units are clean and upgraded. I like the light sensor on the bathroom; very practical during these pandemic times. I couldnt find a hand mixer in the kitchen but they provided one when I asked for it.

The hotel had a horrible smell and everything in our room was very old. I had to use a sheet to cover the 90s sofa texture. It felt nasty. Both bathrooms were super tiny...literally. i regret booking there.

Room had plenty of space. Ours had a balcony overlooking the pool area. Very quiet which of course was a big plus. Only down side for me was the mattress. It was too firm for my 50 year old bad back. My wife’s only complaint was that the bathroom area didn’t have enough space for her stuff and that there was no breakfast in the morning. Other than that it was great and a lot better than some hotels we’ve stayed at that cost 3 times more.

Nice place except not allowed to useJacuzzi which I need to relax

This was a lovely space to get away from Las Vegas. It is an older place but they make up for it with the amenities. Starbucks coffee, Teavanna teas, high quality soaps and shampoos. Kitchens are fully stocked with everything except food. Heated pool, jacuzzi and wading pool for kids. Huge thick towels for bathrooms and pool towels. They are extremely careful in cleaning everything. All staff and housecleaning personnel were very helpful and friendly. Also, you are very close to the beaches. I was in a studio and was very happy with all the room I had.

Great location; fair price; good check- in. Kitchenette Not so good - though the bathroom appears to be newer, clean and of good materials- it’s VERY cramped with half of tub/shower behind toilet bowl.

Lots of great renovations...new pool and spa, new sauna. Weight room and some.other amenities still not open. Clean and friendly. A nice place to stay.

Winners Circle Resort is the perfect place to stay during Del Mars horse-racing season, and a great base for exploring San Diego and North County the rest of the year. Looks are deceiving - it doesnt look that great from the outside, but from the moment you walk into the lobby, that first impression starts to shift. The central area, with the pool, hot tub, BBQ and picnic area has recently been renovated. The studio, 1- bedroom, and 2-bedroom units have been renovated, too. Everything you need is here - fitness room, clubhouse with a pool table, and a guest laundry room, fully equipped kitchens in each room and restaurants next door (on both sides) to the property.

Rooms are dated, but pool area is fantastic and brand-new. Towels and beds are clean, comfortable, and folded/tucked well. Location is incredibly convenient to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, I-5, the beach, La Jolla, UTC, and the coast in general. Only downside is the aforementioned room furnishings and finishings. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Loved this place. Not a horse race person myself, do we visited when no racing in the schedule. Good pool, close to the beach, fun bar, and good rooms.

Went back in 2020 and was so impressed with the renovations. Our stay was too short and was left wanting to stay longer. Cant wait to return.

Close to interstate. Restaurants close. Activities close. Under construction . Noisey. Attempted to contact the front desk 3 times with no answer before arrival. Checking out, the guy at the front desk was not familiar with the discount if another booking was done. We had to explain it to him. After ~20 minutes a $20 discount was offered. Not sure if that was a true discount or not!

First of all this place is great, from cozy beds to good service. They have a swimming pool, pool table, hot tub. The showers have very warm water and cold. A sink and ice machine if you dont like sink water you can put ice in a cup and let it melt or you can buy water. From great beds to swimming this was a great place to see.

Wait til remodeling is done. We had no pool, no gym, no laundry til after 5pm, no BBQ grills. The worst part: no one told us when we booked 2 months ago. Bad customer service. I hope they put it on their website clearly so everyone knows.

Staff were fantastic. Helped us out on several issues that were non resort related. Nice big suite though a bit dated.

Loved the location. Very close to the beach and right across from the racetrack. Close to many food options as well. Room was very spacious, especially the 2 room suite. It has 2 bathrooms too.

Awesome time share resort located rt across from Del Mar fair grounds and next door to Fish Market restaurant. They have a lovely club house with pool table by the pool. Nice bar b q, fire pit and ping pong table. The washer and dryer (and they all worked) room is behind the club house and is FREE. Just buy soap.Had a 1 bedroom full kitchen unit with 2 full bathrooms so it can definitely accommodate 4 Adults with 2 on a sleeper sofa.It was a very quiet and we had a lovely stay.FYI - an extra bonus there were no annoying RCI sales calls by the front desk. It was great.

The staff was rude girl with painted eyebrows and black glasses. She was not friendly or welcoming at all and the balcony is covered in spider webs. Bathroom also had toilet paper that hadn’t been flushed.

It will be much better if you offer meal, and the restaursnts list you provided are closed

A Great time share place to stay and relax

Loved the size of our room. So spacious and perfect for two people who aren’t sharing a bed

I was very disappointed when I arrived here for 4th of July weekend. I come to this resort every year with my family to enjoy the ocean and San Diego. We arrived later than usual and we usually go in the pool after we unpack but this time we found that the pool is completely drained and the area is blocked for construction. The front staff told us it’s been under construction since January it takes people 1 to 2 months to build and pool and less than a day to fill one and it takes them this long to fix a pool. And the fact that they didn’t send out a message to everyone who has a timeshare is disappointing.

Under construction so no pool, or hot tub. Construction noise was present but not horrible. No parking for oversize vehicles and bad advice at the desk for such, but it was resolved nicely by the manager. Free laundry facilities. Good coffee. Kitchen had most everything I needed to cook, unit was large and clean.

Apartment living.. nice new clean 1 bdr.....

One of the sleepers...if people knew how good it was, it would be bombbarded with Nymbys trying to take over!

Love this place...

Cozy studio booked through RCI Timeshare with a pool, jacuzzi, and other amenities. It’s located right across the Del Mar Racetrack and there’s free parking (you get a permit that you display on your dashboard from the front desk when you check in). It’s also right next to the Fish Market restaurant so be clear about where you’re parking since they don’t share parking spaces. The WiFi was good and didn’t have any problems. There were two extra pillows in the closet (but no extra blanket) and the bed was comfortable. I actually liked the scent of the body wash more than I thought I would (albeit I had low expectations since toiletries are never really the best when you stay in a hotel) and there’s a grab bar in the shower (no tub). The water heated up pretty quickly and there’s a fridge + freezer, microwave, and stove complete with utensils and pans. There’s a coffee maker with Starbucks coffee but there was only Splenda, no creamer and just one real sugar packet. They do have Teavana tea, but I recommend going into the lobby to avail yourself of the different types of tea and get more hot water. Overall it’s standard hotel stay in a convenient location off the 5 freeway.

SSHHH its a secret. Get the $20 upgrade, trust me.

Fun, relaxing getaway!

Rooms are cozy and the front desk staff is nice but the pool was under construction right outside our room starting early in the morning. We had holes in our ceiling covered by masking paper and tape. We also had ants and my girlfriend and I were both bitten by spiders. Our room service never came by in the whole week we stayed. No clean sheets and no clean towels unless we asked. Had to take out our own trash and makeup our bed ourselves.

Great location, nice pool area. Lots of kids having a good time. Appreciate the grills and picnic area.

Spacious suites, very comfortable beds. Large TV but too contrasty. Limited handicapped parking. No elevator to second floor. Slow to provide help. Asked for help with luggage but it showed up only 15 minutes after we dragged our stuff up ourselves. Swimming pool and spas not working--getting repaired.

Great food and service like old school restaurants of yesterday!

This is a nice place. Unfortunately I cannot give it 5 stars. One, we cannot use the pool because renovation, remodeling or whatever which we were not informed of in advance. Two, no acomodations were made to use another nearby pool and jacuzzi. Three, we cannot use the laundry facilities until after 6 p.m even though the signs in the laundry state hours are from 8 a.m to 10 p.m. The first day I used the exercise room there was not any water in the tank. Staff is nice enough and helpful. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a lack of coordination that has affected the quality of our stay. As I said, this a nice place, roomy, god kitchen, clean facilities and nice staff but the other things I mentioned marred the stay.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed it so much we purchased a timeshare.On this particular stay it wasnt as much fun as there is major construction going on around the pool and bbq areas.But by next year when we go back it will be wonderful.

Winners Circle was clean and quiet. This place is just what the doctor ordered. I did however, find it small. I was almost cluster phobic. Beach was close and beautiful. Great place to play, eat and rest.

Good location close to Hwy 5 and coast Hwy, quiet. Downsides were both toilets in the unit had issues which I reported. The cooling system in the room also did not work, but opening the sliding doors would cool the room plenty.

I rate it 4 stars because it is extremely comfortable and pretty convenient. It is by no means a resort. If you Embrace that it is just a hotel and you will feel much better then thinking it is a resort. You get different information from different staff so be careful. Staff is limited to one person at the front desk the entire time that we were there. The hotel is very clean. The one bedroom was very spacious. Pool is heated.

My son stayed here when he came to visit. Winners Circle is undergoing major renovations so you have to be prepared for that. The pool and hot tub are in the stages of being reconstructed, which means youre not going near them. But the rooms are very nice.

The hotel was ok, the room was clean, bed was ok ( not very comfortable, but also not uncomfortable), location was close to the highway but not close to beach, pool and spa were at good temperature and staff is friendly. Experience was ok but personally I wouldnt go back.

The place was under construction and seemed to be dealing with a lot of adjustments. The people who worked their were kind and helpful with everything. Id prefer if there was more clarity and organization around the somewhat chaotic construction conditions.

Location is perfect for the beach, headed to north county or into San Diego proper. Right off the 5 Freeway it is simple to get almost anywhere within a 30 mile radius. Condominiums are standard timeshare type of accommodations. A free guest laundry is an excellent touch for an extended stay. Excellent Fitness Center and pool area. Weve been here for different time and enjoyed each vacation.

The place is really expensive for what you get. The rooms doesnt really look clean, theyre small and there are a lot of ants. I dont recommend this place at all! Also, you dont really have anything axing nearby.

About to stay here for the 4th time.Rooms are all fully furnished housekeeping units except for a small handful of units. Pools are in the center of the complex so quiet and private. Three outdoor stainless steel grills that are cleaned down to the shine every morning.Dining options are with in walking distance. Parking is included .Beach is a 8 minute walk. Great spot for Families and More mature crowd.

Always a very pleasant stay! Every time we stay we enjoy outdoor ping pong, the nice cabanas and bbque grills, the pool and jacuzzi and then we finish off the evenings with a few games of pool. The rooms are fully equipped with kitchens and dinnerware for entertaining w friends and... Be sure to check out the infamous piano bar and steak house next door, Red Tractions for some fun after the kids go to bed!! (There is a babysitting service u may use during ur stay).

Really clean and spacious rooms with well stocked kitchen. Our first floor room also had a nice sized patio with a table and chairs. Comfortable beds and pillows, too. No breakfast included.

It is not on the beach, but, that is my only complaint. The grounds are well maintained as are the rooms. They are one of the best places I have stayed at. Oh, the beach is only about 1 mile away. It is just across from the del Mar race track.

The resort was beautiful and nicely laid out. I enjoyed having three different sized pools as well as the jacuzzi. The pool table was fun in the room with the television and the nice comfy couch. I was visiting friends there so I didnt see everything, but it looked very clean and orderly, I would definitely come back.
