This is a very nice park. We loved the visit on a pretty cool afternoon. Theres a lot of room to play soccer, a playground for kids which includes swings, and plenty of tables. Next time we visit we plan on bringing food and our picnic blanket to spend the afternoon.

Nice playground and fields to play on. More trees for some shade around the playground would be nice. Sidewalk all around the park for runners and walkers.

Wish the playground was bigger because Im sure it gets back there but other than that I think the place is great Ill be taking my kids back.

Very nice park with several soccer fields that would also be great for Frisbee. Nice and safe area next to the fire department. It has public bathrooms and a picnic pavilion. There is a modern childrens playground with soft material around it. There are two Pokemon Go stops and one of their gyms there also.

I watched this space go from a swing and a seesaw to a sprawling sports complex and park. Wonderful for family, fitness and finding peace

Set more for small children. My Grandchildren are 6-9 and this place really wasnt suited for them to play.

It was a fun park to go to for the kids in particular. They have a fun little playground, soccer fields, a walking track, and for dogs too. It was pretty nice.

Soccer fields. Lots and lots and lots of soccer fields. Decent bathrooms for a park. Just avoid this spot during kids soccer season.

Cute little park. Has a playground and sidewalks to walk around the perimeter. Mostly for playing fields but its the closest playground for these surrounding neighborhoods. Ample free parking

The fields are a little worn and could use some patches filled. All around nice park though. Charcoal grill at the pavilion for day use.

Beautiful big park with good space to play soccer. This is probably the reason why the city of Smyrna is also called Jonquil City or vice versa!

Cool lil neighborhood park

We love Jonquil park! It is super busy when soccer practice is on but it is so much fun for both kids and adults! Since they do have a covered area with tables we pack a picnic and eat there. Also dollar store is right next door (walking distance/across the street) so should you forget drinks or snacks ir wet wipes-not me- you can just walk to the store. Problem solved. The play area is inside the park so the kiddos can play safely AWAY from the parking lot. If you have a runner, this is the place

Park for soccer enthusiast. This park is great for practicing your soccer game. Many tiny league games are held here and the landscaping is always well kept. The park includes a small area playground for kids and a walking path that circles the park which is great for walking the dog or having that morning run. Lots of bio bag structures around the park and a doggie fountain for your pet. The park is also adjacent to Fire Station no# 3 and is across the street from a family Dollar convenience store. The park can become quit crowded during the kids soccer games but this park accomodates a huge parking lot with handicap parking and a restroom facility. There are benches around the park and a shaded sitting platform to keep you shaded from the Georgian extreme heat and sun.
