Nice walking and dog trail, with a few historical markers, and couple of access points to the river.Dont expect any signs for parking (park near stone boulders), distance makers, or maps, but the first 2/3rds of the mile on the trail are well cleared, and wide enough for a car to pass. Once you get to the power lines, you are on your own.
Nice, although a bit short trail.
I had the pleasure of visiting this park when a friend of mine was married in the park. The views were beautiful to take in, and the park itself was a pleasure to walk around in.
Paved walkway. Fun things to do along the way.
Clean open air in a natural setting. However, the posters from October should have been taken down...
Nice walk along river and then a loop in the woods. Not sure why people say it’s steep; really not!
The mtb trails here are a hidden gem.
Great place to picnic walk/jog, walk dog or kids
Beautiful rest from traffic on 95
Always a good time
Nice paved short walkway with exercise equipment along the way, rather steep start; shared with bicycles; dogs allowed leased
Beautiful place to sit and relax
I like this trail. Pretty cool bridge into downtown skowhegan as well
A great walk by the river, connects to the pedestrian bridge to downtown Skowhegan (almost). Exercise equipment and river views on a paved path. Continue beyond the wastewater treatment plant to a beach on the river and more trails. Get out there, you know you need the exercise.
Nice scenery, very steep hill though.
Beautiful
