Pretty fun place to go any night of the week. Bring your friends or come alone, its always a blast.They follow covid distancing rules and sanitize regularly.The food there is good quality and the drinks are great too. It may be a bit pricey but its worth it.

Experienced the soft opening, Ignite def did a great job with this location. Catered more for adults since there is a full bar. Gaming rigs are maxed out!! Able to play all games in high settings!! Usually I bring my own keyboard and mouse to places like this, but the ones they had were real solid. Of course for console gamers they have areas for all your console needs.Employees were extremely kind and helpful, they saw me having an issue with launching a game and they came up to me with a smile and assisted me. Highly recommended.They also did a great job taking my orders for food and drinks and took my plates and empty drinks when finished right away!! By seeing this I can tell they really care about keeping the place clean, and thats awesome!!They got way more parking then The other location as well, so thats a big plus!!Lets keep this place going for a long time, respect the business and people within it.

Staff treats all guests the same. This place thoroughly sterilises all equipment. Washrooms are clean as well. I recommend the calzones pizzas. Guaranteed to fill you up happily for its cost.

Face Masks MUST be worn. Temperature is taken at the door.Open every day of the week.Always has been a very hygienic place. Cleans the chair, keyboard mouse, anything you touched after you leave. (They always did that before Covid)So far a limited menu(both bar and food) but still love the place! They give you a QR code to scan when you sit down or the menu is on some of the TV screens. (Open your Phone camera and scan it. Opens a page to the menu or a file of it. Some phones might not be able to, but most phones are able to do it.)On the Tvs around the place has Streamers, or Anime (sometimes) playing!Great staff! Very sweet manager. Very nice to chat with, also very helpful. If a game isnt updated yet, they check other pcs while it updates on your pc incase one is updated, so you dont have to wait or worry as much.I recommend this place to any gamer out there.

The place is cool and all but the service is terrible, always a problem with the desktop or game. and the employees don’t try to fix it. overall terrible service and sorta boring in a way but that’s just my opinion

I love this place I’ve been going her for about 11 years now and I love everything about ignite. The best worker of the year award should go to Colton from the ignite in Chicago. He always gives us an advance notice of when time is running out or the pace is about to close. He goes above and beyond the call of duty for ignites customers. I only wish ignite had online play for the Nintendo switch

Everyone is great! Lydia the bartender was especially friendly!!There was an employee walking by the area food orders go without a mask, I dont think he was a cook but we didnt order food just in case.But the actual experience was great! Highly recommend!

Interesting nice place. Went with the kids to check it out. Very nice setup, very helpful staff, saw them wiping everything down, seemed reasonably pricedupdated review. My 10yr old daughter decided to have a party there. She and her friends had a blast, pizza, soda, games etc. She couldnt have been happier. Staff is soooo friendly, look to make sure everything is as it should be. Would highly recommend

This place is great! One of my favorite spots in Skokie. We often go here after work for their Happy Hour specials, but then end up staying all night because were having so much fun. The staff are amazing--so welcoming, friendly, and fun to interact with! They do a great job making it a non-intimidating atmosphere for non-gamers, while also making the gamers feel right at home.We hosted our corporate holiday party here. The food was great, the staff was very professional, and Joel made sure we got everything we wanted out of our party! I highly recommend this place for any large/small event.

These guys did it the right way.Affordable priced best gaming experience in Chicago Area.A proper, all option gaming place. PC with gaming headphones, LED Mechanical keyboards, gaming mouse, a 144 hz monitor, a trustworthy fast internet & a comfortable adjusting gaming chair.Their Xbox and Playstayion setup is also amazing a little less on space if you been to more Playstation marketed gaming stores.They have Virtual Reality and other Wii setups as well.They are following the CDC guidlines on COVID-19 very seriously.Two cons, the internet sucks on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are planning yo visit this place for Call of Duty Warzone Fridays and Saturdays evening is not a good time the servers become crammed.

We were a group of 13 individuals about for a surprise birthday for my wife. I will say it was an overall fantastic experience. This was just the soft opening for now but I will say they have a lot of computers, actually more than enough compared to the Chicago location I hear. There is about 10 couches which can seat about.5-6 people comfortable and you can reserve those. This location is 18+ up to 9 pm then it is 21+ after that because of the bar. I think that is cool idea to reduce the number of people and have a good time, even though I dont personally drink. They have two rock band rooms that can be reserved which is really cool. They also have two VR stations but they were not set up yet for the soft opening yet. The food was good quality and very tasty. Lastly, I will make two suggestions:- check-in and new account sign up needs to be a bit improved. While they give you a new card there, I dont see why they cant have a few designated computers on the side just for this rather than the station they tell you to go to.- parking lot is mud. I expect this to be paved but if its not in the works, that is going to be a huge minus. The parking lot turns to mud when its wet.

Its a really good gaming lounge, all counsels, good affordable food. Nice staff, this location feels different than the Elston location. Which is a good thing. My son really enjoyed his birthday here. We will be returning.

Ignite gaming is a very fun place to go, but there definitely flaws. There are plenty of things to do here. They have pc, xbox, and ps4. Also, they have VR which is closed due to Covid. As for the bad parts, there always seems to be some sort of issue when I go (such as disconnected controllers, unpaired devices, etc.) And when you need help, it can be difficult to find somebody immediately. Another complaint is that if somebody books something such as rockband, they turn off the system mid-song and say its time to leave. Lastly, it can be pretty expensive. To me, its only worth it to go on Tuesdays during half off hours. So, over all, its a fun time, and a great place to hangout, but it definitely has its flaws.

I have two words for you: Full Service.I visited this location for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, over and over again.If you’ve been to their Chicago locations you know what to expect. Great, high quality, gaming gear, comfy seats, and junk food and that’s kind of what I expected but with the added bonus of alcohol.I did not expect a full bar with kickass drinks! The drink menu is fun and packed with whimsical gamer related drinks. I ordered a Metroid Margarita and expected a premixed slushy alcoholic beverage; it is after all a gaming place that serves liquor, not a bar that has video games. Right? Wrong!The drinks are great! A quality that’s comparable to your favorite bar.Next I ordered a personal pizza and some appetizers. I again, expected a frozen microwaveable pizza with some toppings thrown on last minute to melt in. Wrong I was again! I later found out the make them completely from scratch!I recommend: the Mushroom White Sauce signature pizza, the Spicy Elote Bites, and the Onion Rings.If you like stiff drinks I’d really recommend their Health Potions. If you want a cool pic for your IG I’d recommend a G&T Virus.Update: They’ve changed their kid/age rulesIf you are a parent bring your kid here and you will be their super hero for sure.Unfortunately, if you’re not a parent this can SERIOUSLY kill your vibe. Pains me to do it but I’m going to minus one star here for this kid move. No reflection of the games or the staff but it’s just how the change has affected my user experience.I still recommend it but arrive late or expect kids :-/

You have to visit Ignite Gaming in Skokie at least once... or twice... or maybe youll end up like me and become a regular whos been going since opening. Whatever the case may be you cant go wrong with a modern pc/console gaming lounge which also serves a fantastic array of gamer inspired drinks and food. 20 out of 10, forever and always going again!

Been here multiple times for the dota events food is great love the pizza and the fries. Beer and specialty drinks are worth a browse as well definitely a place to go with a group of friends or to make more with the game you love.

Good food and deals considering the combo breaker (beer can + shot of tequila or Jim Beam + personal pizza + 2 hours of gaming). My girlfriend and I have been to this one twice and the other location once. In comparison to the other, I enjoy this location the most. The music is played at a good volume throughout the building, and there wasnt too much of a wait to play anything we wanted. It always feels cozy and even private enough for a date night. I would recommend this to singles and especially couples and groups at this location.

The Skokie location is great. They have decent food and drinks, prices arent too bad. Parking can be tough, they mention paved parking is available, but the lot they refer to is actually not paved, its a gravel parking den that is normally overcrowded and has massive potholes. But definitely go to this location if you want to visit.Edit : Changed my review to 5 stars because apparently the lot I was at was not the one indicated, so my fault on that one. Definitely check this place out - its perfect for young adults. Im not much of a drinker but their drink menu is pretty impressive !

Pretty cool playing my favorite games on really spiffy high-speed gaming PCs. The prices here are very reasonable as well - only $17 for 3 hours. Reasons I didnt give 5 stars: location is pretty far from home, and the food menu is pretty limited. Other than that, its a pretty awesome place.

Prices make sense for the quality of service. One specific waiter irks me since they never check up on you while at your stations, but every single other employee makes up for it. Very clean, probably a great place to host a gaming party.

This place was pretty amazing. It was my first time at a gaming lounge, and I definitely enjoyed it. I will be back.The aesthetics overall are really nice. Its large but still cozy, with an amazing dark color scheme and wonderful staff. Everyone was pretty chill and did our best to make us feel welcome. If you dont like crowded spots, you might want to come here early. The drinks can be a little pricey if you want a lot, but the overall theme and taste is definitely worth it.Our server, Cesca, was also amazing despite how busy it got. There are still some upgrades the place plans on making, but this us definitely the spot to go. 5/5, would recommend.

Had a blast here! We reserved the rock band room and enjoyed our night, the service was really good and everyone was attentive of us.

This place is fun but it didnt seem like they cleaned our stations from the little mess that people before us had made. We had a party reservation so they were expecting us but other than a little bit of cleanliness our group had no complaint. Some people in the group ordered drinks and we had fun.

From the moment we stepped in the door until we left was a blast! We walked in paid for our time, ordered food and drink and 5.5 hours later we finally went home. I still have a smile on my face from spending quality time with my famiy and not having to worry about anything. This place is AWESOME!! Employees are amazing I dont have anything bad to say about this place. We are definitely going to become regulars. I cant wait to go back.

Amazing vibes, great selection of consoles and games. Super comfortable seating. Rock Band was strange compared to the Chicago location, lights were on and glass window so everyone can see you, song selection wasnt too great but the quality is much better.

Came with a group of 7 people, we paid for 3 hours when they told us they didnt know when they would be back into their servers (they were contacting the Chicago location), we came from the Southside of chicago to play and have a nice time and have drinks and only got 1 hour, very disappointed.

Im going to save everyone some time: every single 1 star review is someone complaining they cant get in because the age restriction is 18+ til 9 and 21+ after.In other words: theyre rating and establishment 1 star when they havent been there.Now the real review:Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The decor and atmosphere is wonderful. The cocktails are tasty. The beer selection is a bit limited, but with decent options. Game selection is good with most AAA titles and a few smaller titles (wish there were more of these).Cons: Service is a bit slow. Ill give this a pass as they just recently opened and, so far as Im aware, theyve never done Full Service to your table before. Hopefully they iron this out in the coming months since its the only negative to an otherwise great experience.

Amazing kitchen and bar with gaming themed menu items. Two VR stations, two Rock Band studios, hundreds of consoles, and a huge event/convention area!

I absolutely love this place and would consider it a home away from home. I come several times a month if not more than 5. I’m getting to know a majority of the staff and am almost always greeted by first name by the same staff as well. Definitely a great environment and it’s an especially awesome place to come out to when they have their hosted events.Not sure if I’m too old to have a birthday party here, but I think I’m not because of their bar and great beer, spirits and mixed drink selections lol. I also have been to a few of their League ARAM events. Definitely a good place to stretch your legs and experience a good atmosphere with people that have a similar interest as yourself!
