The quality of the food was very poor. My significant other spent 50 dollars on food that I thought would taste very good considering this place is one of my favorite childhood places. The staff were okay but seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered. The food tasted very plastic, a bit cold, and soggy. Please do better, guys!
Mostly when me and my family throw a party for someone that is -13 we usually use to go to this Chuck E. Cheese, And matter of fact I have grown up going to this Chuck E. Cheese on Carpenter Rd, And all I have to say is that this is one of the best Chuck E. Cheese I have been to for my whole life I like how they have done the modeling over the years and I also love how the staff is very helpful with their buisness and how they also take their buisness serious.
They did very well for our Grandsons birthday. Even with the Chicago mayor not allowing inside dining (ridiculous). The took the cost of food off the bill. Very safe.
Empty on a Sunday my daughter played all the games she liked . no fuss
First: Why The Getting Rid of The Animatronics 2: We Still Like the Animatronics 3: This was CECIllinoisFanYoutuber100 Favorite Store by the way i went here to and saw the animatronics
Anna is the best hands down. A old head that dont know the system needed help and here she is to save the day
I appreciate the service from the crew! They are attentive to the needs of the diners!
Hi there chucky cheese community! Last visit I took “hostage number 4” to play some games and get some pizza. After eating the pizza, the child asks me if he could use the restroom, but I refused to let him leave my sight. A little while later my little munchkin came back from the indoor play area, he was covered in diarrhea....I realized this probably could’ve been prevented somehow....The smell was unbearable. Not sure what happened to his slice of pizza but mine was rather tasty. The workers felt the second hand embarrassment, so they offered to hose him off in the back parking lot. Forever grateful for those very kind employees and we celebrated with more pizza cuz it was sooooo GOOD. Amazing experience:)...only complaint is the workers returned my child sopping wet
Had my sons birthday party here. The renovations are nice and only 1 or 2 games were not working. But there a lot of new games! The staff was helpful and accommodating- they had the whole flow af the party planned and kept it on track. All the kids had a great time!
Gladly will describe my experience.Ive been coming there for the past 5years. Until yesterday, service was horrible. We had to wait for some to acknowledge us we were waiting at the cash register, and even then only thing we had was a look. Another employee came out of the kitchen, passed us and not even a have you been helped. Very disappointed for a renovated place.
Really good and helpful staffSpecially during this times
Decent food and amusement for a simple and cheap kids birthday party.
My kids loved this place
The new updates in food management are horrible, they are not bringing the food out anymore to the table, instead you are to pick up your order in the back part by the kitchen when you get buzzed, after asking one of the employees if there is a way to know infact if the order sitting at the pick up is mine he said there is no number or anything just grab the paper and see the toppings on the pizza and just take it, this is the way things are being done now. I dont find this method safe or sanitary at all. Other than this, the service is pretty much the same, and the upgrades the place had done are decent for kids entertainment, I think I would just bring my child to play from now on.
Nice and clean but its to small for machines and so many kids ...food was good and the people working there so nice. I give thumbs up to Chuck E. Cheese for handling so many kids !
Its updated inside & always clean when we go. All the employees have been friendly. Its the only one we go to anymore.
The remodel is awesome here and the pizza no longer tastes like cardboard!!
We liked it as kids loved to play on their own n be responsible to collect their scores n get the goodies. Friendly atmosphere and full entertainment for kids .
I had no idea this place had improved so much since when I was a kid. The birthday party atmosphere is fun, with all separate parties gathering at their respective tables at the same time to sing together, before Chuck E Cheese emerges, and the animatronics perform on stage (a little less creepy these days, somehow). The games are fun, with an area for smaller children too. Tickets are not that expensive, and collecting tickets is obviously a big part of it. We got air heads and other doohickeys at the end when the kids exchanged their tickets.
Like everything else times has changed, seems less and less, not like it used to be, and its going instinct, last of da mohicans!!! My baby girl had a great time its all that matters
Horrible experience! Waited at counter for over 5 minutes with nobody in sight. Had to walk to the back to ask if someone could help us place an order. My husband ordered a beer. Again, we waited!Girl couldnt serve him because she was under age so had to wait on manager. She finally came out but didnt speak a word of english. How in skokie illinois do you have a lazy manager that doesnt even speak English?!Very frustrating!Weve been coming here for 20 years now, I think this is our last time.
This is the work that 3 women did and we never received the payment, Mike Sanatrelli, the son of the owner of HTC, has the luxury of uploading the work they never paid us. They were night jobs and loading tile and cement do not play with the work and time of Latino workers.
Good placeThe food could of been better but good time with the kids
We had a birthday party, everything was perfect
I brought my three y.o daughter to the Skokie location on New Years day during the evening. Thanks to our surprise it was not packed with kids. There was only one cashier taking orders so the wait to place an order/get play card took over ten minutes. The young cashier named Eric was apologetic for wait time which was very nice and set the tone for the rest of evening. I downloaded a coupon from website, 100 points for $20.00.I order an individual pizza for a whopping $7.99. Size of pizza not worth the price. Most of the games worked, however, a few had issues dispensing out tickets, but once the attendant was notified it was taken care of immediately.Tables and bathroom could have been a little cleaner....Prize counter got really slow close to closing time due to only one employee working the cash register and calculating tickets. The manager did his best to make up for the slow service at the prize counter with humor and by allowing those short a FEW tickets to still pick the prize/treat of their choice.I believe management and the employees were pleasant even when customers were not happy and giving them an earful.Overall we enjoyed our visit and will come back in the near future
It is what it is, bunch of screaming kids and broken machines, Chuck E didnt even come out for the last performance. We still had fun tho.
My daughter loves this place. The staff is nice. Place is super chill. Pizza is really good I always bring some home.Manager is a nice guy helped us out.Good games, nice atmosphere.
Loved it super good service ️
My son had a blast
Im surprised I am leaving a 5 star review for this location, I have been here quite a few times for recreational, birthdays and have left pretty disappointed a few times, due to the condition of the place not being up to par and several games/ machines were broken and out of commission. But....... My toddler loves I mean LOVES this place and insisted on having his party here. After much back and forth with a toddler and checking out other locations I decided to have it here for him as this location is closer to our home and would be much more accommodating for our guest.I set myself up to be disappointed, but my experience was everything but...I was so surprised how clean it was that day, it was super cool, all the games were working and the kids had a blast! My assigned assistant was super helpful, attentive and overall very professional and nice!I really had a great experience from beginning to end, so often we go out of our way to complain its so important for us to sing praises to a job well done. My son was so happy for his special day and for that I am grateful!!
It’s cool you get to chose how you want to play. Pay unlimited for 60min for $21 or pay for a certain amount of coins for a certain about of money. The downside of this location is that it’s very small and crowded! The ticket machines that count the number of tickets are placed poorly and there’s no room to move. One machine was open but the family using the one across it took up the space. It was literally three feet from one another. One more thing is the amount of tickets we get.. very small amounts and most of the games were broken without a sign.
Loved it. The pizza was amazing too. Fun space for kids and even adults.
Very rude. Guy at prize counter kept rushing kids and when the kids asked how much something cost he would say, idk look yourself.
I been coming here for years its pretty fun. The food is spectacular
Hosted my sons 3rd Birthday Party. I selected the Mega Superstar so they all had 2hrs of unlimited play which was awesome! Now the rest of service was pretty mediocre. Our host Anahi was pretty clueless about most basic questions. Didnt even bother approaching me until after 6pm ( Since my party was from 6-8 i was told the host would talk to us around 5:45). Now guests are arriving and instead of meeting them im here trying to figure out which pizzas to order and what kind of ice cream and the timing of the cake cutting, what to fill for the kids to drink etc. Throughout the night she had this blah look on her face like she was being forced to be there. I asked her to make an additional 4 large pizzas, but she FORGOT to mention it to her manager or the kitchen so nobody made the food. Many Hangry Parents. Then she asks if its okay to clean up the CEC decor since my party was over at 8. Even though she forgot to order the pizza she was telling me my party time is over... All the while her manager Rick kept asking me to give him a review on our experience. Mind you he started at 630 asking me to give him a review. Continued asking me every single time he saw me (5 times until i finally did it in front of him around 7pm halfway through the party). Also he kept asking me to settle the bill, settle the bill, settle the bill. I believe close to 7 times he asked me to settle the bill throughout the night. I kept insisting to do it at the end as guests were asking for more soda, or points, etc. All in all, the kids still had a great time! Thats all that matters, just be mentally ready for some headaches...These guys definitely need to fix their customer service skills...
All bad up there during this time
THIS WAS HORRIBLE MANAGER WAS RUDE. the man who doesn’t know anything or is just plain slow, is very rude. he was angry because i pointed out calmly about 3-4 broken machines. they didn’t bother to fix them until a while. no sincere apologies.the only good things are their WORKING GAMES ;), animatronics and the older lady that worked the kid check earlier today.he made up a rule (which is apparently about 3-4 years old) where apparently you have to spend ALL your tickets. i told him that’s untrue and impossible since all the other stores i’ve been to have never done this once. i only wanted one thing. he seemed intimidated by me since i found out how bad he was at his job :( NEVER GO HERE!!
On October 15 I worked for this business, we made the floor brown and the wall with white tile, I lasted with my two female companions 2 nights in a row working hard for the HTC company I never received my payment. They do not exploit people who need hard work to support their children and family. the owner of HTC Rich santarelli sent me messages to go to work but when I asked for my payment for those days of hard work he never made the payment.
The pizza OMG the best. Great time
It was reasonably clean except for the bathrooms which were in horrible condition. Many lot of the games were out of order or malfunctioning but it was a good way to spend a few hours with the kids
I have a 3 year old who loves this particular location. Its tons of fun and we visit it quite often. :-)
Had my daughters birthday party there last month, ordered the unlimited package for $25 per kid. This comes with balloons, goody bag, ticket blaster for the celebrant, dipping dots/pizza/drink/2-hr unlimited play for the kids. Cake and pinata is extra. They did a great job organizing everything with the food, cake cutting, ticket blast for the birthday celebrant, pinata, etc.My one negative comment, and it is a big deal, is they got rid of the pausing feature for the game play. This means the eating, cake cutting and eating, pinata, and ticket blaster took time from the 2 hr unlimited play. If you think about it, this takes away 30-45 minutes from the play time. This was the reason I decided to have the party here because we were at a party last year at a location near Aurora and they had the pause option so it didnt eat into the play time. This seems like a new change because our organizer told us at the beginning of the party that we could pause it but when I gave all the cards to her, she found out from her manager that they could no longer pause it.Also, the party time slots are not flexible, had to choose an 11am-1pm slot. I would have preferred a 12-2pm slot.
First— in terms of a relatively stress-free kids birthday in terms of planning, decorating, and prepping, Chuck E. Cheese is excellent. Having someone help you serve food, cut cake, etc., is also extremely helpful. With that being said, I need to hand out a couple of warnings:1. If you intend to have an adult beverage, especially if you’re a woman, be prepared. My husband, family members, and close friends were all allowed to have a second beer. I was not. The difference? They were all men. When I asked why not, I was simply told by the manager, Mona, that I had “reached my limit.” I had had one miller lite, and pointed out that everyone else was allowed to have a second beverage. For the record, I was not intoxicated or behaving in any way to suggest that I was. She showed me her screen where there was a button that said “allow,” pointed to it, and said, “no.” I felt Mona was being sexist. If you happen to be a woman, be prepared to have a one drink limit.2. Make sure that if you have the coupons that are offered on Chuck E. Cheese’s website to use them right away at the beginning. Our server/hostess never said a word about it, and I didn’t realize their policy. When the check came, she told me I was unable to use my coupons because I didn’t give them to her at the beginning. She told me I could speak with her manager about it. It was Mona. I didn’t really feel like having her say “no” in the same rude way all over again. It would be very nice if they could ask you if you have any coupons at the beginning... or give you an option to present the coupon with payment, like every other eating establishment I’ve ever visited. The whole thing seemed misleading.3. Make sure you double check that you’ve received everything you’ve ordered. Especially the extras. My hostess/server didn’t give us the goodie bags I ordered, and I realized, after all the kids left, while we were packing up, that I never received them. I now have 7 goodie bags, and will have to distribute them over the next couple of weeks myself. What a pain. With all that said, there is a lot to be said for the convenience of having a birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. Just make sure you’re prepared for rude/sexist service, especially if you deal with Mona, the very limited window of opportunity for presenting coupons, and possibly not getting everything you’ve paid for unless you’re paying close attention.
Decent place to take the little ones but the video games should be better.
Could use updates... There are security guards at the door that check purses... Thr pizza is good and my kid still loves the place!
This Chuck E Cheese was really nice. Lots of games, friendly staff, and good food. Me and my family played most of the games and they were fun. What bugged me though was that some machines like a basketball one and a spin-the-wheel one didnt hand out tickets. No matter how much you played. Also, if your going in as a new More Cheese Rewards member and want that free pizza, you should know something. That was the reason I went there yesterday (play games + free pizza) and I swear the was the size of my hand with my fingers spread out. It was so tiny! It was cute. But they advertised it as a whole free pizza! . Surely people would think a small pizza. But what they give you is a triple small pizza. And on top of that, they said you could add one personal topping and they didnt ask us or anything and then the pizza came really quickly (good service) and it was a normal pizza. Tasty though. I liked it.So overall, my experience was nice. I always plan birthdays there, as well. Last time I went there it was busy, but the weekends are like birthday party central. I really recommend you go to this Chuck E Cheese.
Delicious food and fun games. Perfect place to take the kids.
Because my daughter love the games.
Just left this place. The kids had a blast. Only problem was the attitude of the girl who was doing the ticket prize stuff. Very rude to the kids. Shouldnt have someone who works at a kid place and get annoyed by kids for asking questions. Unprofessional.
..We had a great time there. We when for my daughter 4 bday. The bathrooms where super dirty
HTC personal contract to work on this site, to this day we never receive our payment. We work on the remodeling of the brown floor and the white wall of small tile, long work nights to rob our salary.
Tables not cleaned frequently. Salad bar could be cleaner. Some games not working or ran out of tickets. Other then waiting in for the play pass/tokens, everything is pretty self serve. Game area is neat.
Ive loved Chuck E Cheese since I was a kid and now I have kids and enjoy it with them. This location is extremely busy, so be prepared. The only drawback that they could fix is the line for pizza. This is a slow process and can take a while. Tough when youre trying to get your kids going and watch out for other rug rats running around.
Fun place . Food.... very tasty pizza...Salad bar...Chicken wingspizza was somewhat greasy...I blotted with a napkin and it was fine.salad bar looked great but we didnt have any. Wings good but took a long time to come out of kitchen. Our child enjoyed the games.but at least 9 machines took our money and would not workStore was very busy and all of staff were working very hard including the manager.
Chuck e Cheese is always fun for the kids. The staff is friendly and the games are really fun for the kids to play. The pizza is pretty good although overpriced. Many of the games did not give out tickets which is annoying because they kiddos love getting prizes at the end.
Nice place for kids to play games.
This Chuck E Cheese was really nice. Lots of games, friendly staff, and good food.
Sensory Overload... just like when we were kids. The games are kept in fairly good working order and the staff is friendly enough.I have not dined here, but do bring my kids to play from time to time; they now allow for you to play by time so your kids can have a lot more fun for slightly less money.Saturday and Sunday are crazy (think birthday party central), but if you have some weekday time to burn, your kids will have a blast without the crowds.
It was fun for kids. Till they lost the card. Had gotten them time pass.Think someone swiped it from them. Lesson learned, make sure kids aways keep the card on thier wrist. The staff was nice and one guy helped them look. They Lost out on 45 minutes of game time.
The only good thing is if you go during the week your kids are able to enjoy the games. I spent $47.02 the bbq chicken pizza almost put us in a diabetic coma the bbq sauce was extra thick and extra sweet the fruit punch was just as sweet and thick GROSS!!!!! the mozzarella sticks were Luke warm the cheese didnt even pull and the breading was awful tasted like freezer burnt food. The manager was RUDE he did give a small pizza to replace the large pizza what a great even exchange and then told me that he watched the cook make the pizza and it was made the way it is supposed to be. This place is Super pricey for no reason.
HTC personal contract to work on this site, to this day we never receive our payment. We work on the remodeling of the brown floor and the white wall of small tile, long work nights to rob our salary.
It was a great stop while waiting for our flight at OHare. Our kids loved the place - plenty attractions to keep them occupied. Great pepperoni pizza, too.
I should qualify this review by mentioning that the four stars is in consideration of the fact that this review is for an inside childrens carnival/arcade/mad house. Its not a four star overall. But considering its a Chuck E Cheese, its pretty good.Surprisingly nice facility. Dont go there on the weekends unless its first thing in the am.
V nice place 4 kids
Great experience. Clean. Friendly staff. Chucky was great with the kids.
They need to change the fame theres a lot cooler places out there emerging, otherwise though the food good cleanliness good staff helpful
Overall there are 60% negative effects of this chuck e cheese and the other 40 are positives. Some of the negative things are that it smells and there are rude people. Another negative thing is that even if you work really hard for tickets, you end up getting a lame prize. A positive thing is that there are helpful employees and good games there.
Location was clean and staff was very helpful. Took my daughter for a birthday party. It was her first time and she loved it.
Many thing are on clearance u can get batter thing from this store in less price
Great place to hangout with family n friends
My kid and I love it. Just keep tables and floors more clean.People taking our orders indeed to ask what kind of pizza they want. Dont assume everyone loves stuff pizza!!
Just took my kids to the one on Touhy and Central to play games for two hours, spent $32 and almost half of the games didnt work, werent even on, had error signs, or didnt have the coin needed to play the coin games nor did they dispense the amount of tickets won when you hit the bonus. My kids and I were very disappointed! Probably wont go to that location anymore as this is the second time i had problems there. Last time it was with a rude employee and her boyfriend that gave dirty looks at my God Daughter and started talking rudely to her when she asked for help.
Coming here was not as I expected ! I mean I won’t rate this as a 1 star but the the staff here was not helpful at all because they just kept on talking to each other instead of helping us . Yes they help but not in a formal way .
Its as usual an excellent place for kids to have fun weather its a special occasion or not. My kids love this location.
It looked clean and had no stink, like it did almost a year ago when we visit last. I guess the management changed or something but am happy as we can go often. Its my kids fav place to go. Thinking if hosting his birthday party here this yr!
Havent been there in a few years went yesterday took my daughter to a birthday party and they changed it they upgraded new management is so clean and we had an awesome time when things werent working right the machines we did let the staff know they end up giving us another half hour free unlimited play it was great my daughter had a wonderful time I love it
All what you can play is the best offer they have ... i usually buy 90 to 120 minute ... with a medium pizza and 2 drinks for about 45 usd ... bit pricey but my kid loves it.... the good thing also is that you can hold the pass for a break time ... you have the right to hold it for one time ... it was two times before and i dunno why they made it one instead of two ?Nice familly indoor place and i recommend it for everyone who wanna have fun with their kidsPs: i like their pizza
My children love the place . And I would like to thank AKRAM for his amazing service
I found a roach in my pizza and a rat on some of the arcade machine. its also a ripoff for 2 kids its $102 i had wasted all my savings from 2 weeks to spend a day here with my kids. and earning tickets is so hard and just to get some cheap toy that will break on the way home? pathetic... Dont recommend this place... this is soo sad. and dont let me get started on the pizza the dough is trash and tasted so soggy and it was also recycled?
Better Chicago based Chuck E. Cheese location, not so overcrowded.
Docking a point for no ball pit. Better location than other& competition. Only 1 game didnt work.
Seriously short staffed most times we are here. Long line at register, several games down and not functioning, or worse, the game works but then its out of tickets. I feel like I am getting ripped off every time I come here. Employees try to be cheerful but you can tell its a strain on them. Food is decent, nothing to write home about. The restaurant chain changed their platform and offerings to increase their bottom line, perhaps they should also looking at the service part of the business. Will most likely go back again as the kids like to go play the games, but will probably not order the food again.
A great place to go for fun with my grandchildren.we had the best time of our lives. we went on a weekday when there was not too many people around .we had a buffet of pizza. my grand kids can eat lots of pizza. we had all you can eat pizza because they have a buffet between 11 o’clock Until 2 o’clock. My grandkids4 and 6years old.At one point Chuck E cheese made an appearance. And put on a show my kids loved it. They were also safety fair friendly for kids they put stamps on the kids hands and yours so you will leave with the same kids. The pizza was good and fresh they even had A simple salad as well as dessert pizza and garlic sticks. The staff were willing to make any kind of pizza to put it if you asked to put it on the pizza bar. Very good price for what we had. Tip come in when they first open bar. You will have 2 to 3 hours. That way the kids can eat them play and then eat. Remember that drinks are not included with the salad barAnd tokens for the games are extra. The food was really fresh and the staff was friendly. Great to do on a cold day or if it’s too hot outside and you just wanna come in for lunch. I love yourself some time to play. Also watch that the kids only tap once when they’re using the machines. Also a great place for her birthday. They do it all for you if you want.
My kids love this location always clean never crowded when we go always a good experience
I went on a Saturday for my daughters birthday and it was packed. There were some games that werent working and the ticket machines kept breaking which led to lines at the ticket machines to cash out. Getting prizes was easy. A lot of tables are reserved and many of the tables were left uncleaned for long periods of time making it difficult to find seating if you werent part of a party. I would not advise going to Chuck E. Cheeses on the weekend.
Almost 45 min for free small pizza .I know it was FREEE but 45 min waiting is not acceptableIf I had known I would have order regular one instead and save time
Place is relatively clean, and there are a wide variety of games. My kids loved it. The downside is that it took about 50 minutes to get my single pizza and the order was wrong. I showed the employee my receipt and they went to replace my pizza ... with another WRONG pizza. At that point, I just took the pizza.
Updated the scenery and games.
