Real nice venue for various productions. I witnessed a grade school play here which was MUCH better than a the schools auditorium. Nice place. Nice lobby. Nice people.

A very charming theatre in downtown Skokie with an eye catching marquee. Upon entry under the marquee you step into a small but lovely lobby with a front desk and a concession space offering a variety of snacks and a small.selection of alcoholic (beer.and wine) and non-alcoholic beverages. The auditorium is larger than expected, bright, comfortable and beautifully well kept. The staff, actors and productions are friendly and professional. I definitely recommend this theatre and will return in the future.

The Skokie theater is a wonderful, local venue featuring local area Talent, Live Music, and Live Theater Productions. We really appreciate how the Skokie theater highlights and focuses on locally produced and locally created theater Productions. The staff were wonderful, and it was easy to purchase our tickets from their website. Easy to park in the parking lot right next door to the theater venue and the seats were comfortable and easy to access. I give the Skokie theater 5 stars!

Small intimate setting. Saw Drowsy chaperone well acted and fun. Crowd seemed on the older end, mixed with some theater folks.

Used to go there is a kid for movies now its legitimate theater and its still a fun place to go. One of the nicer things it is an intimate please with a smaller seating

This is a very cozy modern theater but it was clean and comfortable. I prefer smaller venues, feels more intimate. Staff was all very friendly and the bathrooms were extra clean which is always a bonus of course but important

This is such a great small theater with great big performances. I have never been disappointed. I love the open seating format.

Great actors and fun set design!

Professional theatrical productions of quality shows. Very entertaining. We have seen many fine performances at this venue. About 125 seat house, so the stage action is up close and personal, bit that only adds to the performances. Theres always something going on in this place--Broadway and off Broadway shows, cabaret singers, comedians, and other entertainment. This theater should be on your list of places to go for quality entertainment.

Sure, the theater has limitations. However, if you wish to see quality entertainment with local talent at affordable (actually cheap) prices, you cannot go wrong. Ive been to numerous performances there and the worst show I saw was still good, while most shows were above average to excellent. A cannot go wrong experience.

Very modern all purpose entertainment venue. Good for bands and plays. Location is minutes off the Edens expressway.

Great theatre. Nice program with variety. I saw Equus and was really impressed with the production. For a small stage it was well directed and kept me engaged. Acting was excellent.

I came for Symptoms May Include in April 2014. Its a cute little theater, no-frills, and a nice business to have around. Its very narrow, so can be tough to sit close, and the lower set of seats isnt very stadiumed, so I can imagine there being view issues, although there was no one in the row in front of me, so I was fine. Sound was good, lighting was good, the stage was pretty small and the set was barebones but it worked just fine for the show. It looks like this theater has frequent runs of interesting shows. The area is great, with lots of free parking. Theres Duffys down the street for drinks before the show, and well-reviewed places in the area for an early or late dinner (Latin American, Afghan, etc.) before or after a show.
