Great performance, How a Boy Falls. The Theater did have two performances occurring at the same time and distinct signage would have helped my wife and I get to the proper theater... great place!
My wife and I have been subscribers for many years. The plays are almost always good, some are better than others. The venue is small and there really isnt a bad seat in the house. We have been able to keep the same seats year after year. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating.Recently while I have been mobility challenged I found them to be very helpful.Thank you for many enjoyable evenings, and break a leg. :-)
Its a lovely small theater. They do a great job with the sets. The shows here are interesting and sometimes quirky. Very nice venue.
Great theater venue for all kinds of performances. A local treasure to enjoy.
Great local North Shore theater. Have been here many times and I keep going back. Amazing cast of actors every time! We saw the opening of an amazing Jane Austen adaptation, and I highly recommend going to see the play this month if you are looking for something to do for the Holidays. I am also looking forward to see the Nutcracker.
Great performance for a well crafted script. Easy access. Comfortable seating.
Great theatre here. There are plays for every taste and budget. The sets are clever and practically all the seats are unobstructed. Ive been a season ticket holder for about 13 years.
A BEAUTIFUL theatre company, from the front of the house, to the hearts in the in the dressing rooms.
Beautiful Theater! Got a chance to see their latest production of, The Wickhams. The actors did a great job of presenting the story. Very entertaining! My only complaint is more for the audience than the theater. If you decide to go to a theater, please show some decorum! Act like you have been out of your house before. Dont kick a persons chair who is seated in front of you, dont hang your feet over an empty chair where someone is seated near and most important, dont talk out loud while the play is going on. Just a few tips so that everyone can enjoy the show!
Every seat has a good view towards the stage.I signed up for the season subscription and feel that the quality of the performances were very good. Ample free parking adjacent to the theater.
Seating is good. The view was very good. And even though its not small its still intimate. Have to start going there more often.
Its a very beautiful theatre. Ive been inside the front lobby for a meeting, but this was the first time Ive seen a show there. The show I saw was Amazing, FOUR WOMEN, by Christina Ham. Look forward to seeing other things in the future.
Saw Nina Simone: Four Women. Comfortable, intimate theater. There isnt a bad seat in the house. Play was excellent. The cast was very talented.
We just saw the first showing of, “Nina Simone: Four Women.” While it is a sad story about a dark situation which is still unresolved, the harmonies created by the four strong women’s voices lifted my heart with their beauty. The script, sets, costumes and acting were also excellent.
Every seat is a good seat. I went to see a production about Nina Simone. It was absolutely riveting. I worked love to see it a second time. The actresses were phenomenal, the story line engaging. I cried.
This is an easy location, just off the Edens expressway, with ample parking, handicap accessibility, plenty of good after theatre dining close by.The play was enjoyable though a bit long. I was delighted to see Hollis Resnik on stage again.
Northlight has great plays. When you get a season pass, you can see all five. Always amazed at how the sets are arranged.
An enjoyable production and very well performed.
This is a nice theater with free parking. I dont think there is a bad seat in the theater. I attend plays there fairly regularly and the or productions have always been good. The acting is very good as well with a lot of well known Chicago actors performing - this time Mike Nussbaum who at 94 is amazing.
Excellent theatre. No bad seats. No bad performances.
This is a quaint venue with a large feel....the seating makes it look like a huge theater....accoustics are great. We were there for a concert by a large chorus...i will need to watch what up coming events they will be hosting because i will certainly return
Great TheaterI always enjoy the plays I have seen at Northlight. The casting is spot on, the sets and costumes accent the scripts, and the lighting completes the proper atmosphere of the shows. Congrats to the box office and technical crew for well run performances.
Nice, comfortable place for theater, concerts. However parking garage is a bit far and Parking can be tough, esp if there are events in both theaters.
Plays are always amazing. Wish there was some leg room in the seating area.
Our neighborhood theatre but would be worth a much longer drive. Fairly small, so you feel close to the action on stage. Good view of the stage from every seat.
Play awesome. Kind and prompt service. Very clean facility. Easy parking.
Smaller venue. All seats have excellent view of stage. Great acts all season long.
First rate facility. Ample parking.
The facility is nice, but nothing extraordinary. Occasionally, though, the show is outstanding, as it was this time.
Um well I wasnt really interested in the play but the place itself is great
Very good installations. Everything is on point. The actual audience space and stage are very good and well arranged. The play I saw was well written and featured talented actors and actresses. Will definitely return when I can.
We have subscribed to Northlight Theatre on and off over the years. Last seasons Butler was our favorite of the season. This theatre is close to the expressway, shopping, many dining options, and has its own parking lot -- all terrific amenities for theatre-going. We just attended the 2016 season opener, City of Conversation, and found it thought-provoking. This theatre draws top Chicago talent, which we always appreciate the level of talent we see at Northlight.
Great place to see high quality performances.
Great venue. Not a bad seat in the house.
Excellent theater, offering a diverse selection of both new and classic works incorporated into each season. Attracting the most talented actors, directors, and crew, Northlight never disappoints!
Always entertaining, Superb acting
Easy park, Great theatre, Excellent acting.
So much fun! Into the Breeches .
Love coming to see shows here, great house staff and good production value.
We enjoy the plays that arent your typical name plays. The small theatre is great as every seat puts you very close to the stage.
Always excellent plays
The Skeleton Crew, best play I have seen in years. So powerful, so truthful, and showed veiws both young and old. This is a Broadway show.
The small theatre is great, I went for a school trip to watch The Book of WillIt was just amazing to watch great notable actors perform.
This theatre company presents stage plays that are classics and newer works. Some plays are Chicago, national, or world premieres. There are occasional post-performance Q & A sessions. And, there is lots of free parking at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts.
Very good, thought provoking, play.

Great venue and productions
Great place
Excellent place to see a show
Saw The Book of Will; loved every minute.
Small theater, great seats, funny show
Great for a night of entertainment
We are subscribers and find the selection of plays presented to be stimulating. The seating is old and uncomfortable however and needs to be replaced.
A fine Chicago-area theatre with consistently strong casts, compelling world premieres, overall excellent production values. The best seats can be pricey (though far less than, say, Broadway in Chicago), but there are there are no bad seats in the house and discounted tickets are available via hottix or Goldstar. The theatre is a short walk from the Skokie yellow line stop, and there are plenty of commercial restaurants and shops to visit if you find yourself with extra time, like the nearby Westfield Old Orchard mall.
Grate place to go for a nice night out
Consistently great plays in a beautiful, comfortable venue at a reasonable price.
My husband and I just saw Miss Bennett Christmas at Pemberley. It was very well done.
