Legacy Park is right by the 229-26th St. Construction project. It was remodeled about no two years ago and has a boat ramp. It got flooded last Summer.

Most times the park is excellent.Sadly, it has started to become bad. We had a couple incidents with the bathrooms last summer while out there for organized and well planned events. Some people are letting their dogs run free from the nearby dog park. The dogs are choosing the floor of the handicap stall in the bathroom to eliminate themselves.Which in turn left the disabled veterans in our party having to choose between getting dog excrement all over their wheelchairs and clothing OR just going on themselves. It ruined the outing for them and should not have happened because someone chose to be thoughtless, inconsiderate, and irresponsible. Our next outing the power was out and the bathrooms secured. The portapotties were a mess and not usable. It took most of our outing to reach someone and have it taken care of. There is a known schedule. Things can be planned.I hope this year is better!

Very simple. Tables, trails, creek and not overly congested. Quiet part of town. Pretty good fishing right by the parking off the rapids.

The trails are paved and everything is kept up well. There are several tables/benches with overhangs. Very nice public restroom building, also kept up and clean. Every sioux falls park Ive been to has been very nice and enjoyable and clean.
