Dogs had a great time.

If you have small kids this is the perfect place to bring them to cool off. Dont wear your tennis shoes, flip flops are the best option here. If you have a habbit of walking around with your phone while the kids play I do not recommend it here as the spray features are sure to hinder your ability to do so. Stop in leave your phone in the car and cool off with the kids! You will not be disappointed.

It was very busy but the lifeguards were good. The pool in the zero entry area was peeling and needs to be stripped and repainted. The dressing room for the women smelled and could use a good spray down. One of the vending machines also didnt work. The whole thing needs some updates.

Fun for kids but kind of small. Overly crowded and not enough chairs if you get there late. Staff is super young but the staff at this pool is pretty attentive to the children. Nice snack bar that offers Papa Johns pizza. Park next to pool.

We went there yesterday and when we were sending the water was as clear. theres a lot of grass in the pool and we did not like that it was really gross even if its from the afternoon I think they should be somebody taking on the pool when there is a lot of grass going into it cuz nobody wants to swim in a pool of gross germs and grass. Please check on your water before you let people swim in it.

The head lifeguard was not pleasant. Not a place to bring a group of teenage boys. The park itself was nice.

I stopped here with my kids on the way through town and we absolutely loved it. There are lots of fun things to do for all ages and the large shaded areas of the park make it a nice place to go even in the middle of a hot summer day. Next time I’m in Sioux City we will definitely be back at this park!

I prefer this pool to all others in Sioux falls. Lots of shade when out of pool, not super busy, staff is super friendly.

Park is great . But Beware of the Tennis couple. A young couple politely but sternly drive people out of tennis court to provide private lessons to students. They behave as if they have permit to do so. I contacted park authorities and they told that they are not supposed to drive people away. I am putting this message to make people aware that do not listen to anyone if you are in the park already. They are typically around in the evenings.

Something for the oldest to youngest at this place. Love it! Staff always friendly.

I love the water slide and how that the pool is for all ages. I go there almost everyday in the summer.

The design of the pool is perfect if you have children in different age ranges. You can momitor all of them at once with the way the pool is laid out. There is a sand area, vending machines, and concession stand with reasonable prices. The location of the pool is surrounded by 3 different playground areas with awesome equipment and there are tennis courts as well. The park is similar to McKennan patk and the pool is similar to Terrace park. Laurel Oaks is in my top 3 along with Terrace and Drake Springs when it comes to outdoor pools in Sioux Falls and my kids would agree.

The pool is great for a multi-age family, but can be crowded at times. The facilities are slightly dated. Friendly staff.

This place is awesome!! I always go to the swimming pool but the Park is also great. There are so many things to do and a great place to be if it is hot outside and there is nothing to do.

Big pool

The public park is nicely located on the corner of 49th and SouthEastern. It is also by a school and has a nice water slide. The park is very popular so although it is great it does fill up fast.

Parking right next to shelter (this is vitally important for the disabled and elderly in our group), bathrooms were close and very clean. Plugins were right there, 11 tables fit nicely under the shelter and the play ground for children can be seen so you can watch your children but not so close that chatter is distracting. The grounds are well kept and we had enough space the young adults played some bean bag toss game.I was the one who chose the park and I had more people say this was the best park for a family reunion picnic they had ever been in.FANTASTIC!Pam Knopf

Did swimming lessons today with my 3 & 7 year old... The staff was AHHMAZING when dealing with my 3 year olds anxioty they held him made him feel better... Great staff!

A good place to be. Its more fun than a regular pool but it is not quite as fun is a pool with more slides but it is still a good place to go I would recommend it

Great public space with all manner of sports environments: tennis, pickleball, soccer, baseball and basketball. Public pool as well but requires a pass or entry fee.
