Appears to be clean. Diet Coke here has been not very good the last two times we have been there. The rest of the soda options are fine

Great movie theatre with 14 giant screens! The candy is kinda overpriced though.

Bathrooms need some quality cleaning. Otherwise its a good theatre with no complaints.

Absolutely disgusting. I was there for a 1pm show today and the theatre looked like it hadnt been cleaned for days. And the bathrooms were even worse. Most had no toilet paper and hadnt been cleaned either.

I enjoyed my visit to two movies. I saw Ad Astra in a traditional theater, and I saw Downton Abby in a modern comfy seat theater. Both theaters were clean and comfortable. Since less than 6 people were at each movie, I had no problem stretching out as I enjoyed the movie. The newer modern theater, however, did have more comfortable seats and arm rests. I enjoyed large bottled water during both movies. The whole entryway and concession areas are clean and well kept, as well. I look forward to seeing my next movie here.

Uping my stars. Am at a movie for the first time in almost a year. Way to go Promenade. No heavy handed tactics just a professional friendly staff. Thanks for taking steps to bring us back to normal in this crazy time. Please come support them.

This theater is really nice. Everytime I have gone here, I have been treated kindly. They offer a student discount which is nice. The theaters themselves are decently sized and the seats are comfortable. Some of the theaters do offer reclining seats, though I do have yet to be in one of those. There is also plenty of parking which is nice considering that it is located in the middle of town.

With the new seats (or I guess new-ish at this point) this theater is a lot more enjoyable than it used to be.The seats recline and are very comfortable, but you wanna make sure to try an avoid the front row (the front two if you can manage) which causes neck pain from having to look up for 90 minutes. You can also see artifacts of the projection if you sit too close which is kind of annoying.Movie theater concessions, pretty much your standard fair, really expensive, but not more so than anywhere else.Tuesdays are the best days to go as every ticket is only $5 all day!Dont usually have a problem getting tickets within short notice because of the small population in the area, which is always nice.

Initially gave five stars for great seats and very helpful staff. Went again and this time saw movie in different room. Seats were old and many in disrepair. Apparently it depends on which room your movie is being shown. New seats are awesome!! Old ones not so much.

The employees were nice enough, but the cost was just beyond tolerable. They wonder why people would rather stream content.

The staff was not very helpful, I understand that movies are typically expensive but then they put out a tip jar and expect a tip on too of the expensive experience. The movies and times vary this is why I gave three stars.

Besides having the most comfortable seats and the new additions to the concession menu they have a great deal every Tuesday all day $5 tickets and $2 small soda, small popcorn, or hotdog! Made for a great family day and kept it inexpensive!! Definitely worth the trip downtown!

Nice theater. Reserved recliner seats. Restrooms are really close to the theaters so if you have to go in the middle of the movie you dont have to miss much. Popcorn was fresh. Staff was pleasant.

Search anywhere close to Sioux Falls for a theatre you could actually lay at or luxury recline and finally found this awesome theatre! Make sure to ask which theatres have this features as they all dont have them but seemed like a good portion of them do at least! Staff was excellent and the theatre was clean overall too!

5 dollar tuesday.. love the price!popcorn was popcorn...but to be honest the rooms could use an update compared to the one at the mall.

The Promenade experience was clean, professional, and attractive as a theater setting. The bathroom was clean, floors vacuumed, and employees seemed friendly enough. Seating was pleasantly very clean, with nothing sticky in sight or touch. Sound was great, and screens have always been clear.I would recommend the Promenade to any movie goers, any time based upon my experiences here.

Always been my favorite movie theater. Amazing and very kind service. The service at the southern hills movie is rude and terrible and there snacks are extremely expensive. Better prices here. It is also very clean in the bathroom and theaters. I have had awesome and better experiences here and will definitely come back.

The stadium recliners are great. Movies always start on time, and the theaters are very clean. The only minus is that parking is a block away.

Very nice now that they have remodeled their screens and chairs. The chairs have been updated to electric recliners and the screens are new and tear free and the sound quality is nice. I went on a Tuesday and took advantage of their $2 drinks and popcorn so all in all I think I spent around $10 for a drink, popcorn, and my movie ticket. Very good value for the price. Only real issue is the lack of parking downtown but during matinees its fairly easy to find a parking spot.

It is such a good buisness! All employees work real hard to make the building look good, and it is busier than the theater at the mall at night!

Fantastic. Reasonable pricing when ypu get a bundle of concessions (tuesdays are the best for tickets). They also do nachos, mini donuts, pretzel bites etc. The seats are so comfortable and warm. Environment is welcoming and staff members are clean and helpful.

I will not be returning to this movie theater. The bathrooms are in disrepair with cracked sinks, to high of water pressure in the mens restroom sink faucets to the point of being unusable, dirty restrooms in both mens and womens, and a damaged spot on the screen in theater 10 that I couldnt keep my eye off of the entire flick.With the location being downtown parking is difficult when busy and the riff-raff seems to be a problem outside the front doors. Not all of the theaters are updated with the new recliner seats which is disappointing for it being one of the only two movie theaters in Sioux City. With that being said take my comment as you want, experience the theater and decide for yourself how accurate my statements are.. I dont believe this is a 4.5 star movie theater.

Five stars because as a movie loving Tuesday regular I enjoy seeing some of the same helful faces... I choose this one over AMC for various reasons. firstly, because they do have recliners but also regular seats (much easier when you go with many people in my opinion as I usually go with 3 to 7 kids)HOWEVER...no parking lot anymore :( give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking... specially on Tuesday as it does tend to get busy.

Theater is wonderful. Love to go on stimulus Tuesday especially. One of our favorite family activities. Do NOT like the population of people milling around outside of the movie theater... getting right up in your face or knocking on your car windows asking for money or food or whatever. I dont feel safe and I worry about the safety of my 16 year old daughter when we go to this place. It seems like everytime we go it continues to get worse. Please get someone to police this area!

Went on a hot night. Yes it was 95 outside but I was shivering inside. Extremely cold air conditioning. Popcorn all over the floor of the entire theatre. Popcorn and soda containers on the ground outside. Overall lack of cleanliness. Purchasing of tickets was quick and effortless. Chairs comfortable but could be better. A hole on the screen left for a black spot through the film. Overall needs some updating and better climate control (I’m glad I had on jeans or it would have been worse)

Love the new seats, terrible parking, and location. Dont let it sway you and great place to get lost for a couple hours.

Decent movie theater. Has some decent promos. Average selection and amenities. Parking isnt the greatest, and the always expected overpriced concessions that go along with any movie outing.

Just a nice place to watch movies. They have good snacks and digital soda machines. Its pretty easy to get your snacks and go enjoy your movie. Although, the floors have popcorn and dried soda and candy on them all the time so thats pretty much my only complaint. Otherwise, its a great place to watch a movie with no disruptions. Very big movie screens too.

Great theater in a bit of a bad location. A too small parking lot means you may end up waking a few blocks through panhandlers and people asking for money to and from your show. I wish SCPD would police this area a little bit harder, but if not, Id pay Prominade a bit extra on my ticket for some visible private security around the building at night.

Very comfortable atmosphere and clean with very cordial staff.

The only reason it loses a star with me is cause the employees seem to not really care about their job. Im hard of hearing so I need the headset to hear better... the headset died not even midway through the movie cause it wasnt even charged. another night, some of my party had to sit on the floor because the staff didnt care enough to check tickets on OPENING WEEKEND of Avengers: Endgame and so many people had blatantly snuck in. other than that, love the jack and coke slushie machine lol

Highly disappointed in what has happened here. This used to be the place to go watch a movie but that is no longer the case. If possible go check out a movie at the mall. The seats are way better there and there is actually parking nearby. Did nobody consider the fact that the customers wanting to go to a movie need somewhere to park? Its crazy having to park blocks away especially if its bad weather (when most people like to go to the movies) or late at night. They need to step up their game to remain competitive.

Watched the movie Glass. Good film and no kids in theater ha ha. Place was very clean and updated. Prices on candy and pop are a tad over priced. Over all employees were polite and helped when needing to find where the movie is being played.

Holy moly I have never been to a movie theater that has recliners and alcohol, however it is amazing. Its like enjoying a movie in the comfort of your own home!

Spent $110 for 5 tickets, popcorn, and drinks. Not worth it when I can wait a week and watch it from home. Place was clean and staff was nice. Thats the only reason why it gets 2 stars instead of one.Maybe if it wasnt 50+ for snacks people wouldnt sneak it in or just not go altogether.

This visit was a big disappointment. I grew up in Sioux City so was visiting for the holidays and brought my family to a Christmas Day movie. I will easily forgive the staff working that day as it was a holiday and no one wants to work on the holiday, lets face it.However, the seats were gross, the floors sticky, popcorn and containers were all over the place, broken pop machines, and the entire theater was just run down.I was always excited about the great, clean theater that this was as opposed to the other option being the Southern Hills Mall which was equally as disturbing the last time I visited.Id love for this theater to get updated, new seats, and clean up a bit!

There is no real designated parking for this location. Be sure to give yourself enough time to find a parking spot. Other than that, its a good place to watch a movie.

Its usually quite clean and they run different specials for popcorn and pop.

When there are new movies that I want to see in the movie theater before the go on Netflix or Amazon, I go here. This theater shows newly released films on a big screen in a room full of seats with arm rests and which recline a little. Before the movie they play messages over the speakers and then previews show on the screen. If you like moving pictures, this is the place to go. Its cheaper to go here in the daytime than in the evening. Also, if youre a kid, or a student, it a senior citizen, you will pay less.

They have food, candy, sodas, etc, etc, finally got alcohal, they always have good movies playing, five dollar tuesdays, kids love it, the seats are comfy i think they could change the arm rests to raise up so people could sit closer that come together. other than that i have no complaints, movie rooms are always clean and so are the restrooms, & a very nice presentation when you walk in.

Kiosks to get tickets on your own rather than waiting for a cashier makes going to the promenade quick and easy! Minimal parking but awesome place to go watch movies if youre in the sioux city area

Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody with a group of friends. The movie was Awesome! Staff was very friendly, theater was very clean!

You cant beat seeing a first run movie for 5 bucks on a Tuesday night.

Good theatre that runs good specials. $5 movies on Tuesdays and $5 first showings on Sundays. Regularly came here Sunday mornings for that reason - plus no one goes to the movies at that time so you basically have the place to yourself.Its usually pretty clean and you never have to wait long. Free parking across the street though is being demolished for hotel construction. Not sure how parking will work now.

It is a very comfortable theater. They have some of the really great indie films as well as blockbuster movies. We have traveled a few times from Sioux Falls just because it was the closest theater that is playing a movie we really want to see.

Lobby was very clean. Employees are outgoing very friendly. Popcorn freshly made. I always get a soda and popcorn and the prices are reasonable.

Called ahead and was told that my tickets would be $10 per ticket when i got there they charged me over $13. Then as soon as i got in the theater room my show was in the stale smell of smoke and mold hit me plus the seats were wet dirty and sticky as well as the floor. Will never go here again

The theater is clean, the seats are very comfortable, and the tickets are very reasonably priced. Ive had a great experience every time Ive seen a movie here.

Besides agreeing with previous reviews, I was very pleased to view 2 Excellent movies here at the Promenade, First one, VOICELESS & second one, Kirk Camerons REVIVE US just this past Tuesday!!!:))). FANTASTIC, both of them!!! I & others would have loved to see I AM NOT ASHAMED at a theatre near where we live this Friday, October 21st, but will not be playing here locally, have to go a distance away for this one:(((. Very disheartening that neither PRICELESS nor I AM NOT ASHAMED are not being shown locally!!! PLEASE take a look at this & HOPEFULLY in the nearest future this will change!Respectfully submitted,Wanda G.
