Love the nostalgia of this theatre. Takes me back to when I was a kid. Prices are very reasonable. Sounds quality and picture quality is really good. Even the smell of the bathrooms is clean and yet nostalgic. Id recommend seeing a movie here. Not always the newest movies but still a very good experience.

Great prices compared to the big theaters. The concessions are a little pricey, but they have some great deals to level out the costs to patrons. Well definitely be visiting again.

To go out to a movie today you are desiring an experience. Lets face it, we can stay home and watch a movie easily but sometimes you just need to get out of the house and what better way than to go to the theater! I love all of it, the tub of popcorn, snuggling down in your seat, watching the coming attractions and then the main feature. At Uptown 3 they are the real deal. They are a wonderful part of our community and they make you feel like their chief concern is your comfort and enjoyment.

Took a kiddo to see Addams Family. They had a special where with purchase of $5.00 ticket for kiddos they also got a snack. It included popcorn, a small creepy crawly slushy and a candy of choice. What a great bargain for families!Theater was clean, not overly loud and enjoyable.

I love this place! Please support this unique, little down-home theater. Love being able to have a beer with my popcorn while watching a movie. Cant wait till they open again, hope its soon!

Food was good, dining room was clean but apparently napkins are a precious commodity. Ordered two combo meals got excess sauce packets and two napkins.

This was my first time and I have to admit I went because I heard it might close. I just moved here from Vegas so Im used to modern huge expensive movie theaters. What I loved about this place is the quaintness of it and the prices after incredible! For $25 we got two tickets after 5pm, two hot dogs, two drinks and a small popcorn. Vegas that would have been $50. The movie theater had comfortable seats, the volume was appropriate for the movie and I felt great for helping it a small business.

Today 1/15 went to see a movie, what we experienced was so much more than expected. The customer service is spot on, the people are looking to grow this theater and I can see big things happen soon. If youre reading this go swing by and get a movie and If say Phillip sent you something good might happen

Great family movie theatre the owners are friendly and open to suggestions. My whole family of 5 including my 1 year old were able to go to a Sensor friendly movie where the kids were ok to move around if needed and the sound wasnt loud for people who cant handle the loud sounds and dark area. My family loved the new movie Frozen 2 with no judgment from others since there are all under 5 and rowdy. I would still recommend this place to others.

Great ticket price, but like most movie theaters, the concecionary snack prices are steep. I spent $26 on five tickets and almost $27 on two large bags of popcorn (medium in most other movie theaters), a large drink, a relatively small plate of nachos with cheese, and an frozen soda pop. Yes, I spend more money in three snacks and two drinks than the actual tickets. Regardless, it was a good experience and I recommend it. Keep local business alive Sierra Vista residents. They been serving the community for 26 years and I hope they can stick around.

Saw Sonic the Hedgehog. Good movie! Despite the line at the concession stand, we got our tickets, our food & drinks, and were seated in plenty of time for the movie

Its very cool to have a theater thats quick to get to and convenient to get in when youre in a rush to get straight to your movie. When I first visited I wasnt sure how large the screen would be, or how good the sound would be. Now I can say that when coupled with the proximity, convenience and relative inexpensive the matinee showing I attended was a good experience. I will visit again.

The staff is great and friendly. Everything is quick and a lot cheaper than the other theater in town. The free movies are amazing!! Its a great activity to take the kids to and we can afford more treats which they love.

Took my son to one of the free movies and we had a good time. The two gentleman who worked the concession were very kind and quick to tell me about the upcoming features. Definitely will be coming back!

Show this place some love where else can you go see a movie and drink a beer at the same time and they dont tell you where to sit like the mall does

My daughter, grandson, and I came to the special event Free Petting Zoo and Dr. Doolittle movie today. What a great marketing idea! My daughter saw it on FB events, and it made us decide to go to Uptown 3 instead of Cinemark.This was our first visit and it wont be our last! The concessions were reasonable plus they have some alcohol drinks (beer, coffee liqueur). We got a medium popcorn (butter yourself!), 2 medium drinks, ice cream nuggets, and a Polish sausage in a bun. I noticed theres a kids pack available. The food and selection were good.I was pleasantly surprised by the large capacity size of the main theater. One of our seats seemed to tilt back too far, but we just moved down one seat. The cup holders in the theatre were adequate. The manager turned off the heat (I suppose at someones request) and announced it to the audience before the previews. The screen was large, projection had no errors, and speakers were just right! The restroom was clean and supplies were filled. There are 3 theaters, but I saw only the one.My only critique would be the unpleasant odor in the back lobby area. Maybe a sewage problem? (One Star deduction.)All in all, the theater experience was good and the staff was very welcoming and grateful for the business. They said they plan to get Bombshell to show soon which Cinemark said they are not showing in Sierra Vista! I hope they can compete for some of the market and people will take advantage of a local theater with a hometown feel!** Please LIKE my review, if it helps you!

This fun, quaint local business may not look like as fancy as a bigger theater, but the staff are fun and accommodating, theres rarely huge crowds or crying babies in adult movies. They sell beer and wine and concessions are cheaper than Cinemark.If you went years ago and swore youd never go again, its improved SO MUCH you owe it to yourself to give them a new opportunity!Love this place.

Though I had heard more than a few negative comments about this theatre, Im really glad we got to make our own opinions. I myself have been a handful of times now & can make no complaints. The concessions are decent, & Ive always found the inside temperature nice (I run cold). My kids & I enjoyed the FREE movie Fridays that played today. Thank you, well be back for sure!

I am so sad we dont go here more. The have a decent bar and prices. The staff and s super personable and they do a lot of good for the community (free movies during the teacher strike and they work with the school). Their screens are not as nice as big city places but they really are trying.

A GREAT LOCAL MOVIE HOUSE AND REASONABLE PRICES!

When you walk up to this little theater you immediately feel as though your part of the family. Its truly a community theater with the intent to serve and please the locals. For such a little place they have a remarkable array of choices in their snacks. The manager was so kind. I was running late and he made my food for me and brought it down to my seat so that I could go ahead and start the watching the movie. He let me know that there was a little swinging table that is attached to the chair that holds your drink and food very conveniently. I will be making Uptown 3 Theatre a staple in my entertainment repertoire.

If the other theatre doesnt have what youre looking for this one will. Small theatre but cute. It does get quite busy with the release of the newest blockbusters so I recommend you come early. The seats arent like the cushy seats you get at the chains or the upscale theatres like Roadhouse in Tucson but their good enough if you really want to see something on the big screen. Parking is a bit tight but again,come early if theres something you really want to see.

We saw Spike Lees BlacKKKlansman. Powerful movie with a strong message.The theater seats were comfy and clean. The staff were super friendly and the popcorn was delicious. We plan on going again.

This theater has such a great atmosphere! Its decorated for Halloween right now, but it always has a friendly feeling. When we come out, the ticket taker is always smiling. I have been thinking a long time about going online to post a positive review. Im not sure how anyone can have a bad time in this theater. Its old--yes--but I love old theaters. They have a lot more character than the new ones. Try it out!

Ive heard all sorts of negaitive things about this theater, so I was hesitant to try it. My first time here I was greeted with a smile. Everyone was so kind. We came late and were the only one for the movie we wanted to see. So since I was late they started it over.Today I came for the free movies for kids. We had great snacks and everyone seemed excited to see us. They even invited us into the lobby to wait and escorted us to the theater. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Three times I have been here, and it has been an amazing experience. I dont feel like a number here. You should give this place a try if you are considering it. You wont regret it :)

I love this theater. Its comfortable, reasonable, easy parking, easy to get into the theaters, with no stairs for anyone with accessibility needs. The owner is wonderful, friendly, & thoughtful. Newer is not always better for me. I appreciate the small town simpatico and homey & charming feel of the Uptown Theater, and, I hope it all stays exactly as it is.Those who believe in supporting small local businesses should give themselves a treat & treat a few friends to a movie date at the Uptown Theater in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Please dont update the chairs to those now at the Cinemark.Yes, you have to hold your head up, but otherwise not back killers.I did not notice flaws with the floor, but it is an older building.Bathrooms were clean.All in all, we had a good to great night. Cost was just right!
