Had a spectacular experience in the red fox dome at Hubbard Park. It is rare to find a restaurant that can combine great ambiance, top notch food and high touch service, all at a very reasonable price. Without a doubt, Russ and his team have really hit on something special here. Great view of Hubbard Park and the river from a cozy, warm dome; delectable food (the bison meatloaf was mouthwateringly delicious and the wild boar ravioli was other worldly); the service was the most conscientious and thoughtful I have experienced in a long time and they have taken great efforts to make all of their patrons feel safe. The menu is full of creative, lodge-inspired comfort food and with so many great options, we can’t wait to head back. Next on my list is the cast iron braised elk steak. Hubbard Park should be on everyone’s “favorites” list.
Excellent food and bottomless mimosas, sign me up! Yes love this place.
Friendly staff, beautiful setting. Really cool metal tunnel. Wonderful setting for weddings. A gem tucked away in Shorewood.
Another very cool place to check out. If in area definitely go
Excellent shaded and sunny hikes. You forget you are in the city at all. River sounds are a nice background. Bring the right shoes for uneven terrain, although if you are less adventurous you can walk all day on pavement. Unpaved trails are well maintained and well marked. You really cant get lost. On a Covid Saturday it was not crowded and everyone we passed was open to a socially distanced wave and greeting. Midwest nice survives. Oh, if you stay on pavement expect to compete with bicyclists. If you like to partake, Humboldt Park beer garden is wonderful too. Beer by the liter and lots of choices.
One of my favorite summer places. A bicycle friendly spot. The patrons are all welcoming and fun. The staff is great. Shade spots and sun spots.
Beautiful park right on the river, good parking access, bathrooms located up by the beer garden. Lots of local walking trails, easy access to the Oak Leaf Trail as well.
Great fish fry and atmosphere. very good beer garden.
Sincerely love this beer garden. Glad to see it open again.
A Shorewood treasure, this park, beer garden, restaurant is fun for all ages. Presently in the summer of 2020 it is set up efficiently following the Covid rules which is appreciated
Wonderful spot. Great beer garden.
Tranquil urban meets nature lovely oversetting the river especially at sunset
Great beer garden off the Oak Leaf Trail. Fun atmosphere, nice staff, good selection of beer and yummy giant pretzels!
Great piece of history with beautiful big old trees on the Milwaukee river.
Secluded feeling, along the Milwaukee River with space to launch kayaks, and close to the city.
Beautiful hidden away little park along the river, just off the bike path. There is a beer garden and a lodge space that has an awesome fish fry on Fridays. Theres great trails for mountain biking or hiking. Its a nice place to hangout by yourself or with the family ️There isnt a playground, but the kids and I go there all the time to hike and hangout by the River. They also have a summer concert series that is always a good time.
Nice spot to stop for a beer.
Right on the oak leaf trail is a gem of a beer garden. Id recommend this as a pit stop for bikers. Theres restrooms, a fire pit, river walk trails, and an ample variety of brews. Would have been 5 stars if not for the complete lack of diversity.
A great hidden Milwaukee landmark youll find space to spread out relax by the river have a picnic enjoy meditate fly a kite play frisbee take a selfie with your cell phone or just relax plan on spending a little time enjoying another great park and it even looks as though the beer garden area would be open in the summer for a little bit of music and beer and who in Milwaukee doesnt love that
Beautiful clean park
Coolest park in Milwaukee. Hidden gem.
A million miles from city right in the heart of MKE.
Website says it closes at 10pm, but they shut everything down at 9.
Hubbard park is a great area to access the Milwaukee River. Recently, the Milwaukee River has improved greatly! The fishing is fun and theres a great trail along it from downtown all the way north through estabrook! Hubbard park is generally not busy (aside from beer garden season). Probably my favorite spot along the river!
I wish they would enforce mask wearing.
Good friends, great beer, sunny day. Perfect.
The beer garden is kind of tucked away, which is nice, and there was music in the park just down the hill when we were there. If you like a beer garden, this may be your place.
Beautiful park with tons of different features
Real nice beer garden!!
Wonderful place to have a pint...or two
Very nice park
First time here like what I see will be back
Fun beer garden in wooded, scenic spot. The Lumberjack Breakfast is a blast. A lot of delicious food for the money.
Its all about the beer garden
Beautiful location, great service and fantastic beers. Shouldnt really have to say anymore
Great place ro have a drink and some food.
Great prices on Mondays with your own glassware. Great service too.
Hubbard is the best beer garden in the city. Great location, great food and drinks, and great music in the summer.
One of my favorite places in Milwaukee, good in snowy weather and in the summer for the beer garden.
Great place for a beer in the beer garden!!!!
Nice and serene
Nice place to relax and have a beer or 2
Half priced beer on Mondays in beer garden. Good deal.

Beautiful park. Beer garden has lots of tables with lots of shade.
One of the best places in Milwaukee...city and county.
Very beautiful and reflective place
Delicious brunch food. Omlette stand.
Hubbard Park is great. An excellent beer garden, summer concerts, and the lodge with Sunday Brunches. Walking trails by the river as well.
Beautiful setting, beer gardens, restaurant and lodge
Nice beer garden on the bike trail.
Gorgeous, and great beer garden.
Peaceful place to chill out
Good outdoors
Got married here. Loved it.
Great park, interestingly enough it used to be a amusement park, with rides and a beer garden. Today it has great river access, as well as trail access to the north and south river unofficial trails. The hill on the way in is also a great longboarding hill.
Pleasant municipal park on banks of Milwaukee River. Limited facilities. Lodge available for special events. Friday Fish Fries.
I love it because its clean and if you heard of geocaching if you havent check it out but theres about 3 or 4 catches on the trail also theres a river beside the trail theres a ton of bugs so bring bug spray for sure if your going to go theres mostly ants, spider and dragon flys but its a great place to go to
Beautiful park on the river. One of Milwaukees best kept secrets if you ask me. Beer garden, brunch at the lodge, and more.
Classic park with a great fish fry.
A great place to relax by the Milwaukee River, enjoy the beer garden during the summer months, or have a Friday fish fry at Hubbard Park Lodge. One of our favorite places to visit
Sooooo great.
Pretty
Walked the dog in gorgeous woods. Found a beer garden. Who knew?
Great park and the lodge has a tremendous fish fry and beer garden
Great park. The beer garden is amazing
