One of the best ever locations in Milwaukee. Especially in summer its even better. I love this spot. Just the different shades of blue when you visit at the right time! Its a great spot to spend a nice evening at!

A very nice park, specially in warm weather. There new stair cases add to the scenic beauty. Plus if is great for those looking for exercise, three or four times up and down the stairs give you great exercise for glutes, thighs and lower abdomen muscles. Also a nice place to find peace and enjoy the movement of waves.

What a beautiful beach! I’m impressed. Nice clean beach with beautiful shady umbrellas, well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere and a children’s playground right in front. Folks are spread out and not on top of each other. On the beach. Lifeguards were super friendly. #wonderfulday

Great beach to relax at. Family friendly, lifeguard on duty during 11-4, and clean water/sand area. Just gotta find street parking along Lake Shore Drive and head down to the boardwalk. Accessible via stairs or paved ramp all the way down. They have big umbrellas on the boardwalk people can sit under out of the sand and chill (first come first serve basis) which is nice when you have a bigger group too.

My rating is largely based on sweet memories of youth, but it still is a nice beach. Used to be a good place to find fossils.

We stopped by between soccer games. We had never been and it was really fun to see. Lots of stairs but I think the walking path winds around. Small beach area, two fun playgrounds. Not much parking.

One of my favorite places to soak in the magical Lake Michigan!Perfect location for Family photos place, pregnancy photos ... and always the perfect location to take no photos and just be by THAT water!Serene and peaceful place to meditate, to listen to the soothing waves.Amazing waves for surfing and wind surfing.People watching is always fun.Fun playground and cool sculpture.But watching a full moon rise over the lake is one to witness!The list and ways to enjoy this beautiful Park can go on and on and on... enjoy it all and in all the seasons!

Very nice sand and clear water. Pretty. We brought a wagon to carry all our kids stuff, but since the beach is down the hill, the walk is long and winding. There are also stairs if you can just carry whatever youre bringing. Didnt find any showers, but there were potties.

Finding parking is kind of a hassle, but other than that its a cool small park for toddlers on the street level. However, if you go down the flights of steps(great exercise) or take the wheel accessible path to the beach area theres a nice cozy lakefront spot waiting on you to chill at or take a dip.

Very impressed with this park and beach! The path leading down to the beach was wide and paved with a nice board walk at the bottom. There were a few large permanent umbrellas on the board walk which we used to take shelter from the rain! The sand was pretty good compared to other nearby beaches. There is a good-sized playground at the top of the bluff and there is a cool playground down on the beach aswell. There are latrines close to the top. Wish there were bathrooms at the bottom.

Great beach with gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. The water is cold but very refreshing on hot summer days. Even on a 90 degree day, it wasnt too crowded. The hike down to the beach is steep and there are stairs and a ramp.

The only Milwaukee beach with lifeguard support. Current capacity is 300 ppl (07/03/2020). Gets filled up pretty quickly. Youll have to wait in line to get to the beach when its at full capacity. They kindly ask ppl to leave if theyve been at the beach for 2-3 hrs so the others could enjoy the beach. This is for 1100am to 0400pm. After 4pm its free entrance with no capacity limits, no lifeguards.

Sunrise was beautiful but the biting flies were not so much. It wasnt too busy in the morning but in the afternoon it gets fairly busy.

This is one of Milwaukee hidden places the make you feel like you are out of town. Beautiful, place for family and couples

Great leisure park worth taking in. The views are inspiring. On the shoreline, clean, easy walking with access to the water if you are so inclined. The area around the park is upper income, well maintained and appears to be a safe. Enjoy the stricking beauty of nature at its best here.

Stopped by to watch the sunrise. Absolutely beautiful. Theres a sort of observation deck on the top of the hill, and one can go down on the beach, where theres a sort of literal Boardwalk. Im going back right now!

Kids enjoyed the beach and the playground. Great place for kids. Water is not too deep.

Parking is difficult - no lot and very little street parking. Beach is small, no shade. Be prepared for a long walk down - stairs and a ramp is provided. Beach itself is clean.

This is a beautiful park and the beach is even better. Be prepared for bugs. They are there in huge packs! We were having so much fun so we didnt pay them any mind though.

This is a very lovely place. Its beautiful and sandy. You start at the top and theres a nice walkway down. You can use the stairs or walkway. I had a stroller and it was a great little walk down to the beach.

Have seen many reviews about beach being closed in front of neighboring houses. Please remember people, if your feet are wet you are LEGAL! WI state laws trump any local regs. WI DNR is clear on this. Even on dry land youre legal if on a floodplain or on land covered by a high water level. You gotta exercise your rights or they get taken away by.... a lifeguard?

EXCELLENT PLACE TO EXPERIENCE A SUNRISE OR MOONRISE.....also the gate is open so you can actually go right down to the Beach....This time of year there are very few folks around....So, you can take your GF down to the sandy Beach and drill her in a most obscene fashion....and after she told her girlfriends about her experience....I was obligated to do the same for them....All in all a Wonderful time was had by many.....the only drawback....if you can call it so,..is that my testicles had a fair amount of skin removed from them due to the action that the Beaches environment provided.....

What a great park! There is a gentle ramp all th way to the beach. It was raining when we went but I still had to check off Lake Michigan from my bucket list so we went anyway. Still glad we did. Nice board walk and umbrella covered benches.

We call this park the Letter Man (kids) but great small sandy beach!

Pretty setting. You could watch the view from the overlook or take the stairs down to the beach. The way is also wheelchair accessible. Perfect for a walk or a jog. Parking on lake drive can be an issue since the place can get busy, however one of the inner streets are usually free.

One of my favorite beaches in Milwaukee. Standing at the top you might feel like you’re standing somewhere overlooking the Mediterranean- the view of the Lake is absolutely breathtaking.There are both stairs and a wide ramp leading down to a beautiful beach. I have gone swimming there on many occasions. All-around beautiful place to enjoy the Lakeshore!

One of my favorite spots of the north shore. A great playground for kiddos and a reinforced bluff for walking down to a beautiful beach. You can use stairs or stroll along the zig zag paved path. Also you may be able to spot some surfers there depending on the day.

It has a woddeen staircase and a walking trail. It takes you down to the banks of Lake Michigan. It looks like a sea. Has waves as sea. Water on this day that is 24th of December was ice cold. Even there was ice . Has some pairs of swings for elders as well. A stone bridge to walk but its risky of now. Its great to be here. Coming upstairs to garden it has swings for kids. Benches for all. You see beautiful mansions across the road. Cars zooming. And these decorated this time are beyond words.

Awesome beach with a playground, only downside is that there is tons of trash :( so if you’re coming here make sure to grab a bag! I also found tons of cool sea glass here, my biggest find!

Wow. So many improvements have been made to this beach. I agree, compared to the beaches north and south, its the best on the Milwaukee stretch of Lake Michigan. Maybe I lucked out because there was no sludge, and because we had very little rain recently, less sewage has probably been dumped - but the water quality was great, the beach was clean, and the entire experience was wonderful.

Im a huge fan of this beach and always come here if I want a more quiet and prettier day than Bradford (which was a zoo on this day). Had a nice picnic and enjoyed the perfect weather! Just make sure you use the bathroom when you get there because it sucks walking up all those stairs just to pee!

This park is a nice spot for kids to play. If you make your way down some very steep steps, youll find a clean and quiet beach.

Its beautiful, breath taking views. Very clean and well maintained park. Two ways to get down to the beach area. Lots of steps - about four storied or the walking trail.There are restrooms near the steps, however they are very nasty, smells really bad. Needs to be maintained.Overall beach area is clean, great to spend time with. There are lots of young kids here.The park itself is small, but there is a play area for the toddlers.
