Always a pleasure to visit this small venue that holds 400 people for a show

Fantastic venue in the beautiful town of Shelby NC. Will visit Don Gibson Thatre again.

This property has been renovated. In 2013 Towery Maurice Burris-Hunt acquired it along with Rogers Theaters & properties bequeathed in the estate of Charlie L Rogers. He also acquired through inheritance & transformed the Earl Scruggs buildings.

Another wonderful show at the Don Gibson Theatre...Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder! Hope they come back soon, always a fabulous show! Thank you for bring such great talent to out small town!!

Love the pokemon in this little town

This is a great place to see talented artists. We go several times a year and it has always been memorable. Tonight it was Confederate Railroad.

Its really reminiscent of the theater in the old days. The feel of the place is almost nostalgic

Its a very comfortable setting and affordable. To be able to go out with friends and have a great time at a show. Snacks that are a $1 each and great entertainment, where can you go wrong. Always friendly ppl around. Ticket booths, seating attendees, and each one that volunteers their serviced to do a task . They each or helpful, delightful and you couldnt ask for better service. Plus, its very clean atomsohere.

March 2018- Travis Tritt acoustic performance. Was able to call and get tickets 5he day they went on sale, very easy. Young lady was super nice and knowledgeable.Parked right out front across in front of theater. Beautiful little town. Theater is a converted movie theater. Beautifully done. Every seat gives you an intimate feel with the performance.Seats are roomy and nicely cushioned. Mr. Tritt performed over 2 hours and we were comfortable throughout.Lounge available before performance, serving colas to alcohol. Band, Moses Jones, from Charlotte, was on hand to provide pre-show entertainment. Great Band!Bathrooms very clean and roomy too. Staff of hand were so nice. We will definitely go back.

Every time I have ever been its always been a nice clean place with great entertainment and friendly staff.

The Don Gibson theater is one of the best medium to small venues around. the theater itself is really comfortable the chairs are pretty good and the acoustics are excellent. Weve gone to several live concerts there and each and every time its been really enjoyable.

Went to the Don Gibson Theatre to see James Gregory, the funniest man alive. Really enjoyed the show. There was plenty of seating. This is the old Flick Theater on was. She Washington Street. They even have a bar inside. Some shows have meals included with the show. I will go there again.

We truly enjoy going to the Don Gibson Theater. It is small enough to be intimate, yet large enough to have fantastic acoustics and great acts.

Attended a wedding here over the weekend and had an excellent time. The venue was stunning and they even added their names to the marquee: Now Showing: Mr and Mrs Werner! The reception was gorgeous, the room provided was perfect. I would love to see a concert here soon :)

We had our sons rehearsal dinner at the Don Gibson Theatre, and it was the perfect venue! Cherish was so helpful and cheerful. She went above and beyond to make this a nice evening for all. I would highly recommend this venue!

Great Venue. Seats 400 so you are always close to the performers. Roomy aisles, comfy seats, great sound and acoustics in authentically restored art deco theater.

Had a wonderful time there for the kids summer movies... Everyone is very nice..the bathroom was very clean
