The park itself, is over ran with homeless people. Its rather sad. It does not appear to be safe. Was asked several times if I could give money

Loaded with homeless!! Can’t enjoy the park because of the homeless gathering in the park and leaving trash.

Wish they had more activities here for kids but they enjoy it.

Run by kids that think they have power too many rules and if you make a reservation dont expect to get what you wanted and paid for and they make your pizza when they want not when you order it

My friend got hurt on the play set and hes 16. Got hurt for trying to get up and slipped. Run down and one of the cement benches were broke.

Not the greatest place to take your kids... A lot of local drunks and addicts like to hangout there on a daily basis as well as your homeless folk.

The Shawnee Senior center is in this park, which I go to. Great park to walk around for exercise. Wonderful pool too.

A great place to remember all those who served our great country. Truly hallowed ground, if you go through Shawnee definitely stop and pay your respects. Awesome little park

Excellent. Since the remodel this is a wonderful place for children. My 3 yr old loves the water part. Its very clean and the water park runs from 10 am to 8 pm.

Tons of Carvanna to catch on Pokémon Go.. I think a fountain needs to be put in somewhere around here.

This park has something for everyone. There is a first class veterans memorial,traditional childrens playground equipment, tennis courts, picnic tables, brand new water park, and all of it is in a mature landscape with large trees.

My daughter had a blast thank you thank you thank you to everyone that contributed to this event in Shawnee what a wonderful experience all the emergency workers and volunteers that put it together did an amazing job we are so fortunate to have such an event to bring our families 2 God bless you all

The splash pad was a awesome but it does coast 5$ a person

Homeless people and drunks hanging out in the park make it kind of weird to take my kids there. They love the Splash Park and swimming though but it is usually crowded and the kids arent being watched by their parents and they cut in line and kind of push the little kids around.

Love the pool and splash pad theyve made and its a great area for large functions like cops and kids.

My daughter loves it and all and all its a nice place oh swim suits only no gym shorts or they sell 20$ swim trunks

They keep taking things away. Not much left to do but its a nice place to stop and play for a bit. The veterans memorial is great to see there.

This park is absolutely wonderful. It has a real small town feel with kids laughter, trees, wildlife, pool, sidewalks and the Veterans Memorial.

I love the way the park has a memorial to all veterans in the county and you buy a brick with your loved ones name on it.

Cant rate this park, Haven been there.

Nice place. Has a playground, memorial area for vets, and access to Pokemon Go find and stops.

Its an awsome water park and its very cheap ($1). The only thing that was bad about it is once you walk out you have to pay to get back in so dont leave anything in the car.

Bums everywhere shirtless bums. Would not recommend for family use.

I say 3 because Im 55 and the only time I can relax and enjoy is only on the 15 minute breaks when all kids must exit and get out of pool
