It was not what we signed up for. Two Jacuzzis neither one worked. The hot tub in the main bathroom doesnt work either. Spent most of the time waiting around for maintenance. I think your money is better spent elsewhere.

We stayed at the WildBriar Inn in late July. Ill preface this by saying Tennessee was absolutely beautiful, and we had a wonderful time so this isnt a reflection of Tennessee or the Gatlinburg area. I strongly recommend vacationing in this region. However, the WildBriar Inn. First, and most glaring is the amenities that they advertise are mostly broken and unusable. The legs are broken off of most of the players on the foosball table and the blower doesnt work on the air hockey table rendering both games unusable. The pool tables are in decent shape, but there arent tips on most of the pool cues. You can still play though. Cable TV only works in about 3 of 8 bedrooms and most of the remote controls are missing. There was womens lingerie in a night stand drawer in one of the bedrooms which we can only guess was from a past guest. The size of the kitchen is deceptive in the marketing shots. In reality it is extremely small and ill equipped to support the 25 guests that this cabin advertises as accommodating. The electronics on the washer and dryer combo unit were loose and hanging from the machine by the wiring leaving exposed electrical components. Electrical components were exposed on the limit switch of the elevator on the bottom floor. Theres a large buckle in the wood floor as soon as you walk into the cabin that presents a tripping hazard. Two of the balusters on the second floor balcony hand rail had fallen off leaving gaps that would easily allow for a child to fall through. We were able to somewhat reattach these, but we were then always uneasy about the integrity of the handrails for the rest of the trip. Heres the worst part. Bed Bugs. Bed Bugs in at least 3 of 8 rooms. Children broke out in bumps all over their bodies, and so did some of the adults. The day we arrived, the third floor air conditioner wasnt working. Maintenance did come out and fix that the same day. Aside from addressing the A/C issue, the management team seems generally disinterested in addressing these issues. After our stay and experiencing the issues we encountered, I began reading reviews and learned that someone had posted a similar review about broken amenities and bed bugs back in February. Thats 5 months prior to our stay so this isnt a new issue, and clearly hasnt been addressed. I feel like a partial refund should be in order for falsely advertising the property. Enjoy the mountains of Tennessee, theyre beautiful, but DO NOT do it here. Id recommend a different rental service all together.

We came to beautiful Gatlinburg to have amazing friends together. There were 27 of us, of which 13 were children. We rented this cabin for the pool, 2 hot tubes, and game room for the kids. All of which were broke and did not work. On the first floor the washer was broken, no electricity on the main side of the kitchen, the water in downstairs indoor jacuzzi tub would not shut off completely(the kids used it once because they were so disappointed that the outdoor hot tubes were broken) the pull out couch was completely broken. On the second floor, the air hockey table did not blow enough air to play the game, the Foos ball table men were broken, so you couldn’t play that either, and the elevator was also not working, and outside of the cabin had trash all around it. I called the property 8 times during our 4 day stay and NEVER received 1 call back, they just kept telling me “Someone” would call us back. On the day we left, maintenance pulled in our driveway and then backed out, waiting for us to leave. We had to venture out and spend more money. We still had fun considering the amazing group of people we were with, but a few days after leaving the cabin, a few of us broke out with bites all over our bodies that itched like CRAZY. I had to go to the doctor because of this. The doctor said I was allergic to the bed bug bites I had all over me. Once again I called and asked to speak to the manager Josh, to let him know that I think our cabin had bud bugs. He said he would call me back, I never heard back from him. I called back 2 days later and his exact words were,” We didn’t see anything.” I never got even got an apology for all the things wrong with the cabin or the bed bugs that came along with it. Colonial properties should be ashamed of their selves. They know absolutely nothing about customer service and they are using false advertisement with the amenities that were supposed to be in this cabin. I never received any money back or any sort of compensation for the lack of this cabin or the sickness that I got after staying there. I can’t believe people treat people this way!!! It’s really sad! I hope somebody else read this so they don’t go through the same thing!

This cabin was absolutely wonderful for our group. It had plenty of room. The (2) hot tubs were wonderful, and the elevator was very helpful on the elderly family members that had physical limitations.... A few problems/complaints we had with the cabin... Only few select rooms had cable (only 3 of the 8 bedrooms had cable.) The others bedrooms had a TV and a DVD player but we werent advised of this and told to bring DVDs. The air hockey table would cut on but didnt work enough to play it and the scorekeeper part was broke. The electronic part of the foosball table didnt work. There were PlayStation 4 systems on each floor level but no games and no controllers (again we were not advised we would have to provide these to be able to play the system). .... Considering how much money we paid to stay in this cabin and considering also the reason we chose this cabin was for the extra luxuries and entertainment rooms we should have been able to enjoy the things we paid for.

The setup of cabin was awesome, however a couple of major things hindered the stay. There were several remote controls missing from the rooms, making it impossible to watch TV and the rugs need a serious shampoo.
