You can tell a lot of effort and skill goes into picking the rugs at Azadi. They were all such great quality and truly unique. I did not buy a rug from Azadi (only because I am on recent college grad budget), but they still have rugs ranging all prices.Chris was super friendly and helpful. Even knowing I wasnt going to be able to give him business, he wrote down multiple online rug sites that would be closer to my budget. If you appreciate great customer service and quality product- definitely worth a visit to his store if you are in the Sedona area.

This place is just one if the many treasures in sedona. Their rugs are beautiful to say the least. They come with a price but there are rugs of all sizes so almost anyone visiting can find something within their budget. Chris was a treat to deal with; not only did Chris show us some of his personal favorites but he showed us some outdoor rugs that can be made that are not in store. This is our second time in sedona and he also gave us a list of places to go to eat and great trails to hike that are not as common. Last year we did almost everything on the “must do in sedona” list you can find online and this year we are doing what the locals enjoy and I must say this year is by far better already. Thanks Chris for all the wonderful advice.

Visiting Sedona from Michigan - so we really were not in the market for a good rug but stopped inside with curiosity. Chris Johnson spent time with us explaining the dyes in the Pashmina Rugs. Beautiful! We also saw an extraordinary handmade overhead light that lit up the rugs well. We appreciated the time and detail.

Chris was awesome and took a lot of time with us. He was extremely friendly and explained everything we had questions on, you have to see the rugs in person to get the best experience, definitely worth it to pay a visit. Theres nothing like it around.

If you are like us, we really never understood the wide range of prices in area rugs that are available in so many different types of retailers. We first experienced Azadi while we were visiting the area and just looking around some of the great shops in Sedona. We really werent even looking for a rug, and certainly never even considered investing in a hand made, woven rug. However...when we went into Azadi we were amazed by the selection and obvious quality of their collection. Everybody there exhibited that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. We felt fortunate to have Chris Johnson as our salesperson and he was great at explaining the whys and hows of fine rugs to us, and he showed us an amazing array of styles, and explained the origin, and what to look for in a quality rug. Its great to work with someone who is passionate about what they do, and in short order it became very clear to us that these were not just rugs, but works of art! To make a longer story short, because of the excellent service and quality selection at Azadi in Sedona, we are now the proud owners of a beautiful hand woven, kilim, rug from Afganistan. Yes, frankly it was more than we ever thought we would pay for an area rug, but we absolutely love it and know we will enjoy it for years to come and then one of our luckiest kids will likely get to enjoy it for years after that. Found this great rug store while in Sedona on vacation. The selection and service is top notch and Chris was very patient. He is knowledgeable about interior design and helped me find some great pieces (and he will ship them to my house). Great place.

4 years ago I purchased a $600 rug from Azadi in Sedona. I had remembered that part of the negotiations was they would cover my first cleaning. Even though their invoice copy didnt state such, they were open to keeping the promise. In lieu of them saving me $700, Adam and Mark moved the furniture and picked up the rug. I bought a new pad I could have waited a bit longer to do, but felt one good turn deserves another. A very honorable company indeed!

We were just passing through Tlaquepaque as part of our trip to Sedona, and looking around with no actual desire to buy anything.
