Katy Park

This is a great place to walk, either by yourself, or with your dog. Baggies are provided at 3 stations to clean up after your pet, as required to by city ordinance. Shelters are rented for family gatherings and a skateboard park. There is also a little league field and an awesome soccer field. Play ground for kids.The trees are beautiful and the park is well maintained.

Always love taking my daughter to the parks. This one is always nice and clean. And its fun to watch the kids skate and do tricks on their bikes at the skate park!!

Grabbed some BBQ and drove to the park to eat. Beautiful place with lots of sheltered seating. Restroom was spotlessly clean and well supplied. Dont miss the aircraft sculptures in the southeast corner.

Its has a lot of shade trees. As far as myself I prefer Liberty Park,To me its alot Better Park and you can also fish their. Extra Incentive.

A clean and safe place to take your children.

Its was an amazing place to be. Its a beautiful park to be if you want be for some alone and family time or if you want to go for a walk or take kids to play and skate also its really open and peaceful

My family enjoys this park; nice walking trail, ball fields, and play equipment for the kids. It would be nice to have restrooms by the baseball fields.

Location is phenomenal for all activities....besides the lack of trees. If youre runner, this place is grueling

Nice park, people so far have been friendly. Could use more public bathrooms by ballfields but overall nice park.

The playground equipment has several things broken on it. I personally dont like the structure because it is too hard for small children to climb on. The skatepark hair is really awesome though. Theres also a nice walking track.

The best park in Sedalia in my opinion. It has a decent playground, but the best part for me is the decent skate park, and the track.The skate park is decent. It has many cracks and you can often find trash. But a lot of the graffiti is very good! There are a variety of places to mess around in, including a bowl, stairs, 2 half-pipes, and a variety of ramps.I do a lot of running, and many people do a lot of walking. Katy Park provides a pleasant place to walk in. It has a very long track thats approximately 1 kilometer long. The track is very wide and can fit a line of about 4-6 people in a line.I love Katy Park. Very good!

AKA SKATE PARK! Now you got a little bit of everything for nearly anyone.....Great path/paved track circles all way around, soccer field, base ball field, skating course, kids play grounds shelters, Restrooms, picnic tables, bleachers to enjoy activites @2 blocks right next to Katy Trail off of Grand On Clinton RD

Beautiful place to be

Out of all the parks this is the one I frequent the most simply because its closer to my home and I prefer the layout of the walking path compared to Centennial. Neighborhood is decent enough. A lot of regular walkers who look out for each other. I tend to come across more kids on the jungle gym at Centennial but this one can get busy as well with the right weather & time but when I want a bit quieter park go I go here.

It was the perfect spot to stop an ear lunch. Great shade around the picnic tables. The kids could run, skate or play at the playgrounds! A great place to stop on road trips! We will be back!

Went there for my G-sons baseball game. It has nice fields, and the area is very clean. Didnt explore the Skate Park or the play area this time, but we will be coming back.

We went to Katy Park to watch my great grandson play T-Ball. Katy Park is a beautiful place to go for fun and, a place to walk on the paved walking track. There are rest room but, no concession stand.

Nice sized park with multiple sports from which to choose to encourage our children to play outside!

I think this is the best Park in Sedalia. Theres an area at the top of the hill that is shaded and very pleasant to sit. Its got a good play area for kids also.

I enjoy this park, its in a nice neighborhood. A fenced in dog park would make it 5

Park was ok, guess it had a little of everything. Walk path, skate park, and 2 kids playgrounds. One play ground is a little unsafe and designed like a beast master corse...not exactly kid friendly, not to mention the gaping hole dug in the ground. Also bathroom might not be safe as you might find a drug needle or other unsafe things for kids.In short its ok but could use an overhaul and prob lock bathrooms at night to stop tweaker .
