The awesome zipline has been replaced with an adequate zipline. :(
Great neighborhood park. We love taking our daughter here to play on the playground. Pretty popular spot but never over crowded.
Great playground, lots of space. Picnic tables. If the empty condom and nitrous canisters are any indication, maybe dont go alone at night.
One of Seattles little pocket parks along a stay healthy street. There is enough space to have a picnic and stay distanced from others
Best neighborhood park. You get to see the Ballard community here.
Great toddler sandbox. Picnic Tables. Feels safe.
Big park with a lot of space to do different activities, take a walk, relax.
It is a nice place to sit in the sun and play chess.
I started renting a home across the street from the park in 1979. My sister bought it and the families that play at the park are as timeless as they were in the 70s. The equipment is nice and theres always a friendly neighbor to chat with. I love this park.
What a nice lil hidden gem of a park! The actual playground looks outdated but its definitely bike friendly, and plenty of hills and shade.
This is an awesome park. They have this built in digger thing in the sand pit. My friends son feel in love with it, to the point that leaving was difficult. As a full grown adult I enjoy the swings and zip line (when but being used by kids). The trees are beautiful, just a nice space.Bathrooms are only open in spring/summer I believe. The only thing that could make the park better is if it were bigger.
Had a lovely time singing carols at the park! I wasnt there during the day, so I couldnt tell what the park really is like, but there were a lot of beautiful trees and a nice walking path.
Too bad kids cant play right now. Its nice and has a toilet
This is my favorite park in Ballard. Some of that is nostalgic (the 80s high school comedy Plain Clothes had some scenes shot here), but its also just a very aesthetically pleasing park, despite its relatively small size (compared to, say, Discovery Park). There are times when the sunlight comes through the trees on the south side, especially at sunset, if youre on the swingset, facing into it... its definitely in that Frederick Olmstead tradition. Plus, its got a wicked-cool zipline!
Its nice there are always tons of little children all over it between 3-5 on weekdays so if you want to go there to hangout dont go then. Also there are tons of druggies out in the fields and by the benches so stay away from those.
Great park for little kids. I walk my dogs through this park often, just beware high school kids getting high and selling each other drugs here.
Beautiful little park. Lots of trees and open space on the west end. Neat little playground on the east end.
Great park to take your kids too!
Cute dogs, nice shady trees, and plenty of picnic tables. Theres also a play structure for kids. There is a set of restrooms, but I didnt use them so Im not sure what theyre like.
Lots of verity for kids to play...sand swings slides climbing rocking. Good for various ages.
People are nice, it is a nice place
This is a nice park. The zipline, the toys in the sandbox, the equipment, the trees.... the bathrooms are weird but at least there is a bathroom so thats good
Really nice playground with so many slides!
A lovely simple park, we brought folding chairs and watched the parade of families playing hide and go seek, exerisers doing squats, and dogs walking their owners leisurely.
The little spot was cool to see and nice to hang out in.
Nice, clean park with pretty unique elements, like a zip line, sand pit, and lots of room to run and explore.
They have awesome playground area for the whole family
Great play area for kids
Safe cushy ground with natural bark. Play structures. Zipline awesome. Huge (rather hilled) bbq area where dogs can run around
Enjoyed a sandwich here. It is a lovely park. Looks like a great playground - lots of kids and their parents. Lots of non-playground area too, for picnics and whatnot.
Cant wait for the new zipline
Nice place but just really parked there and stayed at a place across the street. A air b and b
The park design is great?
One of our go-to local hangout spots. Great playground for kids, lots of grassy space for humans and pets to romp around.
This is a nice little neighborhood park. Theres a playground with swings, merry-go-round, a zip-line, & Tonka trucks to play with in the sandbox. There are a couple of picnic tables. There is a bathroom that is open during the Summer months. Lots of room to walk a dog with several garbage bins. Several large trees offer shade, relief from the rain & flocks of song birds, plus some squirrels for your dog to bark at. If you dont live within walking distance, there is street parking all around the park.
This is a beautiful park, with lots of grass and tall, old trees. It has a childrens play area, sandbox, and swings. Several collections of picnic tables. On street parking.
The swings go exceptionally high here. Id recommend it for anyone who likes swings. Otherwise its pretty cool. Theres a public bathroom just up the small hill if needed.
This is a great neighborhood park. It fills up a whole city block and has a little something for a wide variety of visitors. Theres a pretty sizable playground in the southeast corner with an actual swingset and carousel. The rest of the park is full of grass and large trees, nice for walking through, sitting down, or having a picnic. Theres also a bathroom, but it might not be open all year.
Its a nice place to take my sister when I have to baby sit her. Nice people all around!
Nice playground for the kids, parking on street was way. Restrooms were closed as of 2018-11-11.
Zip line. Sandbox. Merry-go-round. Trees! Bathrooms in summer. Toy truck retirement.
Parks are the only part of Seattle that are left unchanged, as they should be.
A school park with a playground and half-field fit soccer or other sports. The field seems busy with families playing and organized activities. The field is surrounded by a track for running or the occasional kid biking.
This is my girls favorite park in the Ballard area
Clean and near the field with a track one can walk or run on.
Fun playground!
A great playground for the 1 to 8yo set including a zip line and really nice big swing set
This is an adorable little park. Slightly hilly, but trails throughout, lots of grass and shade, and a little playground too.
One of our favorite parks. We love the zip line! Always busy with kids no matter the weather.
Zip line in the playground for children and the locals have generously left a bunch of trucks and toys in the sand box. My boys love it!
It was great I met some people here
Good place to chill with friends
Great zip line and Merry go round. Theres always tomorrow trucks in the sand pit that everyone shares.
Nice place...toys for kidz
Great park, large play area for kids, nestled into Ballard
I used to live across the street from this park for four years. Its ok, nothing special, but the sounds of people having fun, especially kid, was great to hear, especially in summertime.
Fantastic local park. Has a zip line, playground, Merry go round and sand pit.
We really like this park as it has a big variety of play equipment and a wonderful sandbox area!
Nice little green patch next door
Wonderful neighborhood park with picnic tables, bathrooms, and a popular playground that has a zip line for the older kids.
We enjoyed the time when we were here.
Nice park, but its pretty crowded anytime its nice out. Whether thats a good or bad thing, you decide!
Cool play ground but the back half of it can be sketchy at times
A solace in the city.
Kids love this park. The zip line needs fixing though because wood is rotting :(
Nice neighborhood park with views of Salmon Bay. Plenty of toys to play with in the sand lot too.
Awesome neighborhood park with toys and scooters and fun playground equipment.
My son loved this park. We had so much fun!!
Nice neighborhood. Clean and quite area. Nice family picnic spot.
Best swings in Seattle. I hope they never remodel them.
Damn we really making memories
This is a nice park with a decent amount of space and a good playground for kids. I like to come here and read when the weather allows.
Zip line is under construction.
The park is okay. But I want the school play field not the park
Good place for kids
Good place to fellowship and BBQ with philidelphia church Seattle wa
Best sand box (even though sandboxes make me cringe). Theres a huge Zipline, too.
Best hidden neighborhood park! Tons of kids and parents
Home sweet home Ballard !!
Awesome playground: sandpit, slides and swings!
Awesome, safe, fun. Seattle is such a family-oriented town.
Very nice community park.
Lots of very plump squirrels.
Nice place to visit
A lot of play structures and places to just sit down
Meet a man smoking meth
Crazy old guy with a pistol and a kid at the park today... Whats happening to this neighborhood?
Great spot for kiddos!
Very Olmsted inspired park
Awesome small field
Great park for families and kids
Hidden Gem....
Love it
