An awesome park with great waterfront views & really cool little beaches you can comb for neat washed up items. You can even take a dip in the pacific when tide is low if you’re brave & worthy. :)
Really nice park. You have the trail you can follow, which is split into a walk and bike section, which is helpful. Youre on the beach, rocky, so youll have to watch your step if you want to dip your feet in the water. There is some space for playing games, but not really a large park. Its a good place to have a picnic while watching boats and trains go by. I wouldnt say there are any interesting elements to it.
I enjoyed photographing a recent engaged couple here at this sweet park tucked in the city of Seattle! Its a bit tricky to find if you drive there and park on Elliott Ave, so I ended up parking at W Thomas St. and 3rd Ave W and then walked on the bride that crosses over Elliott Ave W (called the Elliott Bay Trail). Once we arrived, theres a long paved trail that extends up and down the coast of the Puget Sound. The park is well maintained, but we couldnt find bathrooms. Theres a nice beach area with lost of driftwood and rocks to sit on to watch the amazing summer sunset. Would love to go back!
A popular park on the coast of Elliott Bay, between the Olympic Sculpture Park & Centennial Park. The Elliott Bay Trail goes right through it. Popular walking & bike paths, a great place to decompress! Check it out
AWESOME! I took my dogs here today and on a sunny day, this place is just awesome! The beachs black sand and off leash... this makes the park super family and dog friendly.Come early as parking is usually busy. Layer if its cloudy.
Probably my favorite park in all of Seattle. By far the cleanest and has wonderful spots for the kids to go down and play in the water. Only complaint is that there doesnt seem to be any bathrooms around.
An open space on waterfront along the Alaskan way! It has good views of bay and the islands beyond!
Nice coastal walk! Only 30 minute walk from Pike market. Good place to burn out calories after craving food in the market.
Its a park for a walk. Its close to the waterfront. Theres a path to walk or ride a bike.
Spaciousness makes social distancing easy. Many places to sit, take a deep breath and enjoy the view. Ramp up and down into the park makes access for everyone easy. Wide path for walking or bicycling.
This park has been a part of my life for the last three years. It brings me so much joy. Love walking here from downtown over the weekends and hanging out, looking at the boats and ships sail by, waves crashing at the shore, dogs jumping around playing catch. You are even treated to an occasional sighting of the Olympics and Mount Rainier. I have spent some real quality time with my loved ones here. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
A Seattle gem! Walk, run, blade, bike, roll, glide your way down a pleasant path (2 of them most of the way - one for wheels, one for feets) along Elliott Bay. Plenty of shade trees, benches, mini beaches, even a rose garden. Enjoy!
Trying to get from Richmond to the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps? Why take an Uber when you have the opportunity to wander through the lovely Golden Gate Park?Between the flowers and architectural gems we couldnt have asked for a better morning stroll. At over 1000 acres we saw a small fraction of sites within the park but its definitely somewhere Id visit again and again.
My happy place in real! Go there almost every evening
Great place to go for a walk/run with views of the Puget Sound. On clear days, you can see Olympic mountain range and Mt. Rainier. No food or restrooms so be prepared. And bring sunscreen and sunglasses in summer. It can get unusually bright with the water reflecting all the light.Lots of play area for dogs to run around. Not sure what the leash laws are though.
Who would have known that this is a paradise for both humans and puppies! With a not-so-secret beach down the trail, everything is perfect. The hike was not bad at all.
A fine place to go any time!!!! And at any hour.
Nice little beaches with a lot of wood. Kids love to play with it.
Good place, just beside the shore. Can enjoy the sunset and sea boats, ferries, ships going by. Very scenic, can see Mount Rainier on a clear day
Perfect place for family . Take your food & drink
Great place to run plus views of the sound
Best place ive seen. Green, clean, views, beautiful sculptures, playful and happy environment its so lovely here.
Beautiful place to walk on a sunny day. Flat path with great views.
Really nice and except for the large grain ship and shipping counter vessels polluting the sounds other than that it was great
Nice place to relax and kick back washington bay area.
This park is such a beauty with views of Mt Rainier on the left and Olympics on the right. Makes are an amazing running, walking, or biking trail.
Serene and beautiful place. Very calming and peaceful environment.
Very nice walk, clean you can bring your
A beautiful walk or ride by along the waters edge. Elliott Bay Trail is a perfect path for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and the Myrtle Edwards Park area is absolutely beautiful!
One my favorite beaches since the 1st HempFest I attended 20 years ago. Still my very much Zen place.
Whether you are walking, jogging, running or biking, this park has it all for you. From the scenic water front shores to the majestic mountain view at the horizon.
Grass is a little dry but overall a great park to check out
Great outdoor space, it’s both biker friendly and runner friendly.
A bit loud with the trains some days, but its not a bad place to go for a stroll.
It is nice park by the water. I enjoyed running and walking at the park. The sculpture park attached to the park is also fun with a great view of needle.
This park is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for a sunset walk with your dog. When the sky is clear, you can see the mountains in the distance in either direction over the water. You can walk the path by the water or ride your bike down the bike path. The park is also just a stones throw away from Olympic Sculpture Park. There is a well kept rose garden on the north side that is gorgeous while in bloom and a nice pull-up bar and parallel bars for the fitness inclined folks who would like to perform some calisthenic exercises along their regular runs or cardio sessions by the water. Highly recommend a visit during the golden hour
A perfect place to relax and get some great shots in
Great views of the city, the harbor, and the mountains. Nicely made trails and some benches.
A great place to watch the sunset or just read looking at the sound waters.
Its a lovely park for some refreshing air and some socializing.
Lovely views of the sound and docks. Theres rocks to climb, benches to sit on, and grass to laze in. Also, theres a bike trail that will take you all the way up to Ballard or Fremont!
Scenic and beautiful place.
Clean area and beautiful scenery..
A great place to walk, jog, bike, etc.!
Such a beautiful park!
Great park. can confirm, pupperino approved. 14/10 would play fetch here again
Best View in Seattle.
Surprisingly clean for Seattle, didnt see one heroin needle. Also a more bustling park then it was ten years ago, but no surprise with the rapid growth rate in this city.
To me, new addition of Seattle water front
Hemp Fest 2019. First one for me. It was fun. Seemed like it was just vendors selling food and trinkets and baubles. There are some nice things for sale there, I was just not interested. I thoug by the whole idea of the festival was to meet and talk with other people of like minded ideas. Now its just about who sells the best product. It is like a fair. Everyone seems guided by money.I met a person there and this person made my day by being kind to me. I had never met him and he was kind and respectful. I enjoyed the experience.
Great frisbee spot for sunset views
Nice ️
It might literally be the center of the known universe
Nice place to jog run see the sea lol
A great Park! Go there
Great place to walk or to relax and enjoy the sound
Beautiful views from this park with a cute little beach alcove. Love grabbing a picnic blanket, some snacks and a good book to read out there.
Great views but can get a little crowded.
For tourists at Seattle Center, take Harrison or Thomas west towards 3rd Ave W. Take the bridge across to the trail. This park is a beautiful walk along the water that stays suprisingly clean and homeless free. From this trail you can go to Olympic Sculpture park, the pier, and walk down to Pike Place. Id recommend this trail down to Pike Place over some of the gross overcrowded streets. Its worth the extra fee blocks of walking.
I used to run by here all the time. nice little fishing spot. cops leave ya alone at night. I cant wait for the constitution to be done. 2-23-19 update. They used to have an eatery here, I use to talked to the guy he’s really friendly. They close it down and the fishing dock is still closed so is the free parking for the fishers. The whole running track is open again by the way on the dock or pier. It looks nothing like the same it’s really nice I see security walking up and down there are their all the time now. But hey seattle cops !!! Quit locking the bathroom door before 8 PM!!!
Awesome slice of waterfront park.Plenty of walkers, runners, bike riders and the occasional rollerbladers/longboarders.Great views, clean and fun place to take in the waterfront.
Great waterfront park to walk, run, bike, skate and chill at the waterfront.
It was great Sat in the sun .
Beautiful peaceful wonderful place to stop to take a deep breath and get lost in the water. People should really stop littering. You think you see wildlife and then its a plastic bag floating in the water. Be kind to the people !
Beautiful views of puget sound. Well worth the walk.
Beautiful and peaceful!
Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle is pretty sweet . This park can be lots of fun during the summer is a good time . You can walk there ride your bike and so much more bring your camera to get some cool pictures, this place is easy to find . Its a nice place to visit with your family and friends . I love this place #love
This park shall be in the history books one day for it being the forefront gathering park for the celebration of hemp in all forms. SEATTLE HEMPFEST one of the biggest weed festivals on the planet. gotta love pnwonderland
Amazing view. Great place to either walk, bike or jog.
Great park for locals and tourists. You get to enjoy the view of Elliot Bay and all of the wildlife in the Puget Sound.
Great place to watch the sunset.
Ive since moved out of Queen Ann. (For work and cheaper rent) but this rather long park has a dam good and comfy vibe to it. A charm about its local and people. We Miss it
Beautiful place I work here at the wheat doc
Parking is far away. View is not great.
Beautiful, peaceful, the place to be right now, during pandemic days.
Sweet walk along the shore up into Magnolia
Went here for hempfest and it was awesome! The park features a paved path which goes on and on and on. They were able to fit 3 stages in this park and all the little kiosks in-between. Its right up by the water and the entire park is well taken care of. Would love to go here again when hempfest isnt going on.
Love this park at sunset...
Beautiful park in the heart of Seattle, with a really nice walking and biking path to get around on!
Its a beautiful waterfront park. Actually, the area adjacent to First Ave and just downhill from the Sculpture Park belongs to the art museum/Sculpture Park. As you continue north west, a sign indicates that you have entered Myrtle Edwards Park. There are small beaches, expansive lawns, and walking/biking trails. Some picnic benches. Trees, shrubs. The last third is a park belonging to the Port (Centennial Park). There is bridge over the train tracks originating near Omeros; the other access points are through the Sculpture Park or down Broad St to the water, then picking up the trail
I miss Hemp Fest
