Nice park. Relatively big grassy hill, playground, baseball field. Next to a grade school as well. Tucked away a little bit so its not quite on the main road.

A gem of a neighborhood park with well kept grass and a couple of picnic tables in the upper area and nice clean playground w/ newer equipment for the kiddos. Safe and clean and free of homeless encampments, which is unfortunately a rarity in Seattle these days.

Quiet, clean, and nice views. Wooded paths with crushed gravel that was easily traversable in my stroller. A little steep though in some places so make sure its dry and you are comfortable with/outfitted for a steep grade before you go.

Great all around park for almost anything and everything. You can lay down and have a picnic, or play in the playground, or just enjoy a nice scenic walk. Overall amazing.

Nice respite from road traffic, but shoreline access is limited. Theres barely enough space to launch a kayak, the shoreline shrubbery is so dense. Two public benches located well apart from each other make for nice meditation spots, but they are private enough that I dont come here in the evening. Very limited off street parking for about 8 cars is almost always full. Good rest spot for the S Lane St stairclimb if you are doing round trips.

Small but good, I dont that a lot of people dont follow the rules and let their dogs run freely.

I didnt realize this field was called Lawton park. Its a nice field that is often empty so you can run around with kids freely. Be aware that in rainy months the grass is completely saturated and muddy, and feels like youre walking on a waterbed.

This is a beautiful neighborhood park, with some play equipment, a baseball diamond, and a small soccer field. There are paved and more rustic trails through wooded areas, some of which are being restored. Parking is kind of limited.

Lawton Park is a cute little gem in the Magnolia neighborhood! Accessible at the end of 26th Ave West just a block or so past the Overlook apartments at Magnolia, it is a nice little jaunt with a big grassy field, a picnic table or two, a bench to sit on along the trail, a little side trail that leads into a woodsy area, and a small playground just down the path that is part of the elementary school but open to the public. It is always clean and beautiful there and a nice place to take your dog for a short walk or kids for a little picnic.

Nice information center and walking trails. Runs adjacent to native American lands and a water treatment center. Once military housing... Million dollar homes are popping up at the top of the area.
