Comfortable environment
One of campus landmarks.
Nice place to visit
Lovely in all weather but windy, mind the goose poop
One of my favorite places in Seattle
Great place to visit, take photographs, walk around enjoy also the trees around
The heart and soul of the University of Washington campus.
Was down for repairs/work when i was there. i imagined it to be cooled than the pictures show.
Cool spot to hang and enjoy the outdoors.
Its a giant fountain with an amazing view of Mt Rainier on a clear day. Whats not to like? There are some benches surrounding the fountain to sit and take in the views. Part of the beautiful UW Seattle campus, so theres more than just the fountain to see here.
The fountain was big, wish I had seen it working! The rose garden around the fountain was beautiful, and so many of the roses were amazingly fragrant. It was like tiptoeing through a fairy garden. The jasmine at the top of the fountain square smelled the very best however.
Picturesque place to take pictures of Mt. Rainier or to sit on a nice day. Rose gardens surround this fountain, with lots of benches, and a ledge around the fountain to sit on.
Unfortunately the fountain wasnt running, it the view of Mount Rainier was spectacular as it often is on a clear winter day, the other direction the magnificent buildings of UW set a wonderful counterpoint to the lake and mountain.
I did not know that the fountain is called Drumheller until now. Anyway, you can easily get the best view from here, with a mountain back.
Its a beautiful area to visit. You must see all of UW campus to enjoy.
You can find some dudes swimming during graduation period. or some random Lime bikes inside the fountain. Be boundless Huskies.
I visit here every March, dressed up in my favorite blue dress, to take pictures with the fountain and the cherry blossoms. This year the fountain was on, and it was beautiful! And since it is on one of the crests of a hill, you also get a great view!
Historic fountain on the beautiful University of Washington Campus. Provides great backdrop of Mt. Rainier on clear days.
I believe that this fountain is a peaceful place to gather your thoughts with a awesome view of Mt. Rainier in the background. Grate place for the family to go and see. Grate place for a late night stop when on a date if the fountain is lit up, it is not always lit up though so plan for the worst but prey for the best if you decide to go at night. Now I would have put it as five stars Buti didnt cause the fountain is not like up on a regular schedule.
I like the place a lot, it is beautiful whether the fountain is turned on or not. Sometimes ducks fill the pond, seagulls come as well. Wonderful especially when Mt Ranier is not covered with clouds. Selfies are awesome here.
Nice central meeting spot but need to clean off the bird poop.
Breathtaking sight...so peaceful enough to see on a Saturday afternoon a fountain in the middle of a compound with prehistoric buildings. Definitely bring your camera...itll be worthwhile.
One of the best views on campus! On a clear day you can see Mt. Ranier - which in combo with the rose bushes and fountain make for an incredible sight!
Peaceful environment in the middle of a bustling city. Good photo op.
Great fountain. Shuts off at 5
Beautiful fountain specially when the mountain is out
Stunning view of Mt. Rainier. Incredible when the cherry blossoms are blooming.
Its always calming and beautiful to watch the fountain.
Very pleasant place to walk around and admire the flowers and people watch.
One of the prettiest places on campus, so relaxing. I love seeing everyone enjoying it.
When it is on, it is beautuful, when it. Is off, you see all the stuff people throw in it. The latest trend is lime bikes.
Visit during opening weekend since the fountain is not turned on during other times of the year. Can sometimes capture Mt. Rainier in the background.
Stunning views of Mt Rainier on a clear day.
A monumental and artist piece of art.
So iconic to our lovely University !
Quite a refreshing swim after ones last final exam!
Beautiful, clean. Just like the campus. Its worth the visits
Nice place on the UW campus wish the fountain would have been on
Drumheller Fountain is a great place to relax and watch the ducks and fish. On clear days, it has one of the best views of Munt Rainier on campus. In the Spring, flowers around Drumheller Fountain enhance its beauty. Bring your lunch and relax for a little while.
Amazing view of Mount Rainier on clear days, adorable ducklings during spring and summer. Gorgeous rose garden surrounding the fountain, blooms throughout a lot of the year as far as Ive seen. Eight benches around the edges are great places to sit and eat lunch.Sometimes ducks and geese will sleep here at night once the fountain has been turned off. Its pretty cute.
Beautiful fountain
Picturesque view of Mt. Rainier, this fountain is one of the most beautiful parts of the University of Washington campus. Try to go on a clear day or in the mornings, you wont be disappointed. During spring and summer it is really cute to see the duck ramp! My only qualm is that the actual fountain is not on as much as it should be.
Great place to view Mt. Rainier on a clear day...
On a good day. This is probably the best spot to catch the views of mount rainier and catch the exhaustive beauty of the uw.
Classic place to visit on campus.
A great place to meditate by
Beautiful rose garden and not too crowded at midday
Nice fountain
It was drained on 5/19/2019. But we always enjoy it
Beautiful location for pictures and/or selfies.
Took the kids on a college tour.
Be warned: its a bit of a tourist attraction. you can see mt. Ranier when the weather is clear.
Well I havent fallen into it yet. A major landmark to the University of Washington.
Super nice on a good weather day
Nice view during Spring and Summer. There are benches around the fountain.
The fountain is amazing. The view beyond makes it something out of a movie
Huge viewpoint with corner rose gardens.
On a windy day when you walk by the fountain it is really cold and you can smell the goose poop everywhere.
Amazing view from here! MUST visit !!
Beautiful place to walk!
Its a f***ing fountain. Why is Google asking me to rate it?
Beautiful place.
Great view of the mountain and fountain.
Its pretty.
Beautiful campus setting.
Nice view right outside Bagley Hall
Totally Love this place !!
Iconic spot on UW campus. When fountain is active it is a sight. Perfect view of Rainer Vista and Mt. Rainer. Currently there is a duck ramp set up to help hatchlings enter and exit the fountain.
Its on the UW Campus. #GoCougs!!
Beautiful place
Lots of people are there all the time
The geese hangout here and it scares me. I would rate higher if there were more ducks
Great view of the snow mountain.
Beautiful and picture perfect place
Pritty
This is a beautiful place to relax. The area is incredible at night, and on a clear day you can see Mount Ranier, which makes for an incredible view. The lawn by the fountain also makes a great place to study on a warm day.
The finally cleaned it this year!! And it was dirty about a month later. I dont know if there is any way to keep it semi clean, but we should find it.
Very beautiful view!
Its a foundation....With that being said, on a sunny day in Settle the view with Mt. Rainier behind it is amazing. One of the things I miss most about UW.
Great place to go with family and friends, eat lunch, spend some time in nature, and during the spring blossoming its really really awesome there...
Its a pretty good fountain
The library is beautiful
Currently getting cleaned, so big yeet
Nice views, big place.
It was empty, sign says reopening June 2019.
Beautiful fountain!
Also known by some as Frosh Pond. A really sweet landmark on campus. When the fountain is running on a summer day, it cant be beat.
Beautiful fountain!
One of the iconic landmarks of University of Washington! Very scenic irrespective of the weather
