I wanted to buy tickets for a Sunday show. Went online and they said its too late to buy tickets for the showing online, and that I should call the ticket office to buy them. I called the ticket office and received an automated recording saying the office is only open Monday to Friday. Either let people buy their tickets online during Sunday and Saturday or have your ticket office open. Dont tell people to call to buy tickets if youre not going to have anyone manning the phones to sell them.

How can I start. I absolutely love every show they do. Yes the tickets can be a little bit expensive, but they, in my opinion, are worth the money. The singers are always so so so amazing. And preforming with them is even more awesome. The staff is always so supportive and you always have enough practices to be able to put on an amazing show.

Kind of strange that you can leave a review for the administration building but ok...FYI: Google Maps may not direct you to the parking lot correctly. I used it a month or two ago and wound up at the loading dock. If you use the directions to 13 Coins, the restaurant on the opposite corner of the block, itll get you closer (at least until they move locations in 2018). Head into the short, dead end street between 13 Coins and Amazon.

My husband and I love the Seattle opera. Yes tickets are expensive but you pay for culture. So tonight, we saw The Flying Dutchman. OMGoodness! Incredible. So it was a little under 2 1/2 hours without intermission. Yes a little long, but think of the incredible orchestra in the pit!!!! Performing flawlessly for almost 2.5 hours without a break!!!!! Amazing!!! Our Dutchman was played by Mr Greer Grimsley he was fantastic. Our Senta (I think) was played by Ms Rebecca Nash. She was absolutely darling. The Seattle Opera has been doing such a great job bring different shows every year. From The Pearl Fishers, to Mary Queen of Scotts, tonight, The Flying Dutchman. And theres more that I havent mentioned. Ive never been disappointed. Unlike ACT Theater that has really lost its touch unfortunately. If youve got the money. Would love to give your girl an unforgettable experience take her to the opera. Its not like what you think. No big woman in a Viking outfit with long blond braids tied up in princess Leah buns screeching at the top of her lungs. Yes it is foreign but they have subtitles above the stage. Giving you the idea of what they are singing without detracting from the acting. And let me tell you, theres fantastic actors there, along with a fantastic orchestra
