Great fishing, Stay away from the bait shop and watercraft rental. Very unprofessional and rude people KCs BBQ waitstaff likes to make little girls cry. Kitchen Manager does nothing to mitigate this. Also no bathroom after 7pm

1st time visiting this part today. Spent time on the little walking trail. The little walking trails are pretty nice. Short sections walking through the woods. Nice little areas for picnics. They do have a play area for children. The overall samaria tears real nice. We stopped in at the little KC to have lunch today. It would be nice to see them add more to it. Whatever all nice little place to hang out.

A safe place for kids to have fun.

Good place to visit but not to stay long term. The manager is judgemental, putting in his opinions about your personal life. The Elders as theyre called, are a clickish group that play Corn Hole every Friday and Saturday Night. They get drunk and loud and will call the law if you have any drink yourself. Before, I sound bitter, ask the staff about the turn- over rate and how many have been kicked out of the RV Park or Marina...then heed my earnings and stay clear of this judgy, pretentious, insulting, and poorly run place.

Love the park. Only problem is the guy in charge, Carl, I think his name is, is a bit of a drama queen. Aside from him the park offers a ton of cool camping opportunities and beautiful views of the lake.

Really nice park with RV camping, marina, picnic areas, walking trails, and the lovely Vernon Bush Garden.

They are really keeping the place very clean and it is just beautiful out here.

One of my favorite places to be these days. Could keep the restrooms open 24hrs for the odd late night fishermen. Love the walking trail.

We bought breakfast with pancakes at McDonalds in Scottsboro, and went to the park to eat it. We were able to get a picnic table by the lake.

We had a great time...

Stayed in one of the cabins back in January 2019. I was on a business trip n it was mid-January so I did not get to enjoy the outdoor amenities. The cabin was awesome. My boss had already paid for the cabin, so I dont how much they cost. We wouldnt have stayed there if it wasnt a good deal. This was a good welcome compared to the motels we normally stay in.

My granddaughter loved the playground.

The camping area was great for Memorial Day weekend. Not too many people or too crowded. Always clean park. Kids love playground and swimming area deck to jump off of.

Unfortunately after a terrible customer service experience, we will not be returning. Our family rented multiple cabins this year for a reunion. After being told we could check in early and arriving from out of state two hours early, the check in attendant charged $40 for an early check in for each cabin. Upon checkout, we received a call hours after leaving that there were “stains” on the washcloths that Carl (the manager) knew “wouldn’t wash out.” Prior to WASHING the linens used, we were charged. When I called to clarify these charges and express our troubles with early check in, Carl informed me that we were never told that. This park has beautiful views and a wonderful pavilion, but the way we were treated prior and after checkout was distasteful and dampened the entire experience.

2nd year in a row we have gone to my motherinlaws side of the families family reunion. Very nice place and its right next to the water with a playground. Pavilion has a full kitchen, electricity, and bathrooms.

The cabins are very nice and clean. They have a pavilion. It’s great for all ages.

This place is amazing! 1st Time here and... mind blown. The answer is yes you should come whatever youre trying to do its here

Its fun for the kiddos

We visited the childrens playground section of the park. The entire park has free WiFi and the playground was recently remodeled. Plenty of space and a lot of swings and jungle gyms. Children love it, theres even a public restroom located next to the entrance of the playground.

Just left this campground from Lot 10 with our pop up. Luckily, we lived close by as we only stayed one night. We were right across from the restrooms but they closed it every night around 10pm. We didn’t have access to get into the actually campground to have use of the bath houses or restroom. With a family of 4, with no restroom in our pop up, it made for an unpleasant experience. We paid for 3 nights and stayed 1. No shade at all, on gravel, right in the middle of all traffic and noise. Would not recommend this specific spot.

Best place to fish and hang out

The park is actually a pretty clean and relatively safe place if you wanted to take your child. The one down side I did believe was not of my agreeing was that fact that the bigger children would play on the small child playground. But then again kid will be kids. Jackson county does a very good job as far as security there was not a time that I went and I didnt see a police cruiser.

Great place to bring the family. Good fishing, walking trail, playground and camping . Park office closes at 5 but the park is open until 10PM.

Just stopped in to relax while watching the water. Well-maintained grounds. The new cabins looked very nice.

Tent camped with 3 grandsons my husband an myself, they were so excited we were going to fish ride bikes play on the playground get icies etc. but, we found our site g we requested power an water. our site was tiny an 1 fire pit for 3 sites to share. barely had any room between the neighbors no picnic table the other renter to the left of us was fisherman which I had no problem with until I seen the cases of beer stacked up which he quickly moved out of sight non-alcoholic park site f was friendly but site e she was a case not nice at all an let us know right quick they were google employees an they settled in for the night at 8-8:30 because they had to get up at 4:30 she proceded to get own to my 6 year old grandson an telling him how rude he was I had just gave him a flash light so apparently he had shined it towards the camper she apparently owns the camp ground. Worst experience I have ever had we packed up sadly the next morning an left still payed for 3 nights only stayed 1 but did they offer us a refund nope

This park was hit by a tornado a few years back, they have updated and added Chalets, kayak rentals and other stuff for a river getaway but dont expect to find a camping spot, they have long term rentals and its hard to get a spot if any. The lake is real nice, great for boaters and fishing and they also have a marina to dock boats but I dont know the actuals on that part. Nice day getaway for picnics or swimming in the river. Nice walking trail and playground area. We usually go get food to go and eat it on the tailgate by the water, best way to enjoy this park.

Very nice. Waterline needs to be cleaned up a little, but all in all, I recommend it.

DO NOT RENT A BOAT SLIP HERE !!!!Where to start .... the Management is a joke . Ideally a lease should protect you as well as make things easier for management to do their job. Forget about lease rules, bc they make their own . There’s a certain group of white trash on each dock that the manager refuses to get rid of no matter how much they break lease rules and regulations. Doesn’t matter if your have video proof of people (including other dock renters) trespassing on a locked gated dock, on your boat and stealing or damaging your property . you can call the police bc going to the manager will only get you treated disrespectfully and told to learn to look over the trouble makers . ( Yes! He knows exactly who they are, which leaves me wondering what they have on him ) bc he certainly won’t do his job and the police tell you that the dock is a communal area and it’s the managers job to handle these matters. They don’t seem to understand or just don’t care that your boat is your private property.Secondly... Drugs and drag racing at the swim dock ... I’m Amazed that the behavior I’ve witnessed and reported to management and police continues to go on at the swimming dock in the middle of the day and night . Drug use and drug deals going on in broad daylight and teenagers uses the road way like itsTalledega .Lastly... Parking . Your supposed to have two parking spaces per slip (per your lease) . But good luck !! The managers groupies can take up 4 spaces for their car, truck, trailer and boat and then threaten to have your “one” car towed bc you’ve parked In what they have deemed “ their parking spot “ even though they are currently takin up three other spaces, Again manager is involved and your told to move your vehicle bc they’ve rented here longer . What?!

A nice quiet place too go too depending on time of the day. Can get busy at times.

Cant believe how nice they have made it in the past 30 years if we did live up around there Jackson Co park would be the perfect place to hang out fish spending time with my niece feeding the ducks & fish and teaching her about fishing we loved it plan on going back each time we are in town visiting my family.

This is a beautiful place to visit, plenty of fishing, boat ramp,swimming pier, camper parking, rental cabins, a BBQ restaurant, large boat slips, picnic tables, a nice playground, and much more.

Beautiful place have family and friends buried in Burgess cemetery, we have family reunions, fish or just go to the playground and walking trail only one bad experience, had a 12 man tent that just bought stolen from there, and they have men watching all the time on 4 wheelers left a note on the door of the office gave them my number told them what happened never heard from them

Its great for fishing or spending time on water. Otherwise pretty bare for my preference of activitie. No hiking trail just a walking track.

Best day of my life! Seriously God has placed the park. Its wonderful. Me and my better half, Clarke seriously enjoyed it. Wonderful place. Boat rentals. Or do as we did and enjoy what God created. Wonderful walking trails. All the facilities are clean. 5 perfect score, no one can complain here.

Relaxing place to walk, watch nature, watch people fish, swim, launch their boats, or even to do all those things your self. Great place to picnic, or grab some food from either the restaurant or the taco/ hamburger/ hotdog stand.There is a campground for RVs, and tents, or even cabins to rent . Jackson County Park is a nice place along the banks of the Tennessee River

Great park to take the kids. They have something for all age ranges. I also like the fact that it is fenced in so kids cant wonder off, or strangers wonder in.

Park is slowly becoming smaller and smaller. Parking and pavilion removed since update. Looks nice but not a lot of space.

So much fun!!!They have,a park,a boat launch areas,a dock for swimming,a dock for fishing,a rental place to rent kayaks,a place for RVs to park,cabins,and a BBQ place. Its a great park.

It was very nice and clean

You can rent a cabin or park your r.v. right on the water. There are several boat ramps in the park to put your boat in Lake Guntersville. They have a restaurant with delicious ribs and a beer cave and a lounge. You dont need a boat to catch the big one, they have plenty of piers and banks to fish from. And thats not all they have to offer...playground, walking trails, and an amphitheater. All this within 2 miles of Walmart, restuarants, and the Unclaimed Baggage Center. (My favorite)

The park has always been great but since they have done the updates it is really nice. We always enjoy our time there.
