Great time this evening for Movie in the Park with my Sweetheart to watch Hocus Pocus. Weather was favorable. Beautiful skies. Scrumptious food. Overall, 5 Star venue for an outdoor evening activity while practicing social distancing.

So good to get out and enjoy the weather. The park is newly paved and looks great.

Wonderful park with well kept up and safe equipment. Features a big playground as well as a smaller toddler playground set.

We went during the fest and it was ok. There shouldve been more seating and the food vendors werent that great. The park overall was nice. My son loved the corndogs -lemonade and the fruit loop flavored popcorn (hence the blue mouth)

Wonderful place to visit. Clean, QUIET, and peaceful. I wish that other parks were as nice and well-kept.

This is a good park for just getting out and having a picnic, playing at the playground, or even biking on the Pennsy Greenway Trail right next door.

The Libido Funk Circus Rhythm and Rock event was very good and appreciated. Compete with social distancing.

It seem like a very nice park. I basically needed to park there, so I didnt get a chance to check out the park better.

My Family and I enjoyed this park. Friendly people. We did come for the basketball courts but discovered the rims were all missing. Not sure if that was done purposefully or if someone stole them. Either way, my sons and I hope they bring them back.

This park is an AWESOME place for kids, and family during the summer, fall and spring. Just forget about your troubled day and enjoy the family time here!

Relaxing quiet park

Nice park, in a nice peaceful neighborhood. Clean bathrooms. Went for the Schereville corn roast and had a good time. Would like to go back next year.

I love e this park! It is great for walks and spending time with the family. There is a playground and basketball courts for the kids. They also rent out the picnic area for parties.

My kids and friends kids absolutely love this park. The kids have fun for hours!

Great place to relax

Redar Park is a great family park ! They regularly host family activities like movies in the park, touch a truck, fairs, day camps in the summer for children, farmers/food markets, the list goes on and on !

1st carnival of the year, and it was a hit as usual. We love their park because it has the rubber mulch. Much better to land on than mulch or rock. Its located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with friendly faces all around.

Great place to walk!

Well maintained with good equipment. Nice rubber padding under the playsets. There is also a toddler play structure and a big kids play structure. Baby swings, regular swings, and a chair swing. Centrally located benches and drinking fountains as well as building bathrooms nearby. Sand volleyball court gets a lot of use in the summer with leagues but sometimes flooded after heavy rain. Lots of green space as well as a basketball court and covered picnic table structure.Biggest drawback is lack of shade. Many trees have been removed over the years and the sitting benches in the playground desperately need shade. Trash cans on the playground and near the structures also tend to attract bees, so be careful. Overall, one of our favorite parks, but the addition of shade on the playground would move this review to 5 stars instead of 4.

Love the park its been removed and its so much easier and better for the kids to play, they have monkey bars, swings so all kids can play

2 outdoor Basketball Courts, great playground equipment, volleyball court, softball field, nice bathrooms with concession and vending machines, plenty of awesome events, such as carnival rides and movies-in-the-park, right next to bike trail and skate park, and great open field to play soccer or football, next to a pavilion to throw awesome parties. I grew up here and i cant think of many more places Id rather grow up around.

Nice playground. My kids enjoyed playing there. A lot of different slides and a swing set. Plus there is separate play equipment for younger kids. And it is quite nice to read the signs there and see that the equipment is made from recycled materials.

Nice park to take the kids or to just go for a walk.

Nice, well maintained park in the center of Schererville with softball field and set up for events in summer.

Decent park. My daughter loves it because it is always active with other kids. One bug downside is they do a lot events here and its hard to find parking. So if attending an event I would recommend show up early for parking and let the little ones play at the park.

New to the neighborhood we enjoy the playground and all the events so far

We love the playground. If your child is in a wheelchair it has the smooth turf and lower slides, also a musical thing that is at ground level. The playground has two different age group sections but are close enough for a parent to supervise both which is very helpful.

Nice park for the family. Theres newer playground equipment and newer bathroom facilities with a vending machine. There is a paved trail that connects to this park as well that extends for miles. Wish there were tennis courts here.

Grew up at this park. So much so that our crew earned the name S.I.P.T. after an police officer pulled up one day and made the comment well if it isnt the Schererville Indiana Park Thugs. But its a great place to take a walk or your kids. Has a decent little playground more suited for 10 and under. 4 hoops basketball court. Restroom pavillion offers soda and ice cream vending machines. Also, the famous region bike trail runs right thru it.

Park has nice bathrooms with vending machines, rubber flooring on the playground to cushion falls, benches in the middle of the playground for parents, basketball court, baseball field, nice rental shelters for parties, sidewalk all around the park for walking/jogging, close to bike trail, water fountains, and good parking. One of the best parks for kids in the region.

Scumbag LEOs that took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States, molested me in this park without any cause while I was there on my anniversary, with my family, playing the guitar and singing my wedding song to my wife. I had my firearm holstered safely. They disarmed me, searched my possession without any probable cause AND one of them asked me Why are you carrying a gun, anyway? When i told him that i was exercising my God given right to defence, protected by the US Constitution, he spit on my shoe and in fury, said to my face, I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SAY THAT. He took an oath. My piss is worth more than his word.They claimed there was an ordinance, prohibiting weapons in the park. There is no such ordinance. They gave me a fraudulent ticket, of which when I made it clear I would not only fight, but make this a high profile lawsuit, publicly. The citys attorney advised the authorities to dismiss the ticket.Not all LEOs are pond scum; just the ones that break their oath and become the very enemies of the Constitution, that they swore to defend against. They are the authoritarian bullies of the new 21st Century Task Force. Welcome to Nazi Germany. Just following orders not legal orders.

Great park my son loved it. This park has things for all ages. And great spongy ground. Its not concreat or wood chips or black top its like rubber. Fantastic to keep them from getting hert on the ground and keep them clean. Deffrnatly recomend this park.
