Clean with Covid protocols being followed. We felt safe and comfortable. Best part is due to social distancing no one sat near us being all loud and obnoxious. This is the best time to see a movie, its like your own private screening.

It was awesome that the movies were back open. I was a little disheartened that they didnt limit where we could sit to ensure safe social distancing while also saying we couldnt pay with cash due to the virus... Sounds like they were more concerned with protecting only their employees instead of everyone alike.

Rented out the entire theater tonight. Love the concept. Able to have up to 20 total guests, and choose the movie you want to see. Sadly, the volume of the movie was very low. I even went out and asked them to increase the volume, to which they never complied. Great concept, poor execution.

I was nice. Wasnt crowded at all. We walked straight n, there was no line at the ticket counter or popcorn counter. We was able 2 find our seats easily and when it was time to go, we was able 2 leave without any pushing or waiting 4 people 2 get out the way.

Good place. Lots of parking. Friendly workers. Popcorn from U.S. grown corn.

I would love to give it 5 stars but i cant for the reason being that even though they had mask prevention there do called social distancing was not up held i men not only did they not come in to check if people were sitting in there right seats everyone was not were they were supposed to be especially on the seating chart on the app and then there were people on there phone not watching movie that us other people paid and were trying to watch one guy went to tell security but they came in looked and left they could see how people were close to each other but didnt care .I know its hard for movie theaters right now but if you cant keep up they way they said it was going to be how do they expect people to come to the movies maybe other theaters are doing things better ..I bought 5 tickets and they were supposed to block seats around us but people didnt care and I told the people at front desk but they have me a look like what ever so they lost me as a customer. Ill have to try another theater..

Love that they got the 100 buck theatre rental now. Just you and your friends, no one else. Good deal for bday parties.

Went right after Covid. I could of stayed at home. Luckily I brung my cleanup covid kit. Popcorn was not fresh at all. The boy acted like it was his first day on the job. You barley get in butter now.Seats were stained with red stuff on them. So much for cleaning up! All Indiana theaters need to upgrade and get leather chairs!! Easier to keep clean! Geesh its 2020

Great place to go, as always. AMC 12 is just as good! Friendly employees and fast service. Ive never had a bad experience there. They now have a bar at the AMC 16. I dont know about the 12. I havent been there yet. Drinks are kinda pricey but then again, i prefer soda with my popcorn.

Took my son to see Sonic for his birthday and the service was really nice. The concession stand has everything. The nachos and popcorn was delicious. I will think twice before I get there chicken sliders again, they were tough to me. I only compliant I can register is that the seating is a little tight for a big boned girl. LOL. Also they have a BAR!!!!

I would go to the movies every week if they had a 9:00 showing

This is my go to place for movies. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Always a good selection of movies with a wide range of show times. Their Stubs programs and Senior discount are awesome. You can see a great movie for a great price. Food selection is good but a little pricey.

They now serve alcohol which is cool...but this place is getting really rundown. It really needs to be remodeled/touched up whatever. The seats are shot and floors are pretty nasty as far of years of wear and tear. The facility is kept clean it just needs an update of TLC. Food is good though.

It was o.k. Reminds me if my childhood movie experience. Now I just love the sound, big screen and recliners you get with Marcus theatres. But... This was the only theatre in the area still showing a movie I missed yet wanted to see in the theatre. The pop has an off taste... Not sure if its due to the water in the area.

I am happy to have a theater that show “art-house films here in our area and I am not forced to go and up to Chicago to see them.The staff was cheerful and helpful. The restroom was tidy and the concessions staff was quick to serve.

This theatre would be a 5 star theater if the arms on the chairs lifted up. If they reclined they would have been even better but at least fix the arms on the chairs so they can be lifted up. The new food options are nice but are very expensive.

Bought tickets online. No standing in line. Went directly to ticket taker. Paid too much for pop corn. Oh well. All seats are reserved which you pick out when you buy your tickets. Saw a great movie, JUDY. Dont miss it. Theater was clean and not crowded.

Mrs. & I have visited several different AMCs but this one wasnt up to par or same standard of many others we have visited. Seats need to be updated, service was fast. Still overall experience just average.

When this place was Kerasotes 16, it was the premiere theater in the area. In the years since, theyve only made incremental updates. The place is falling behind other theaters in the area. Marcus Chicago Heights is MUCH nicer, with bigger screens, bigger chairs, and a nicer, more modern lobby.

Its a good theater, its old school seating though, but I wouldnt count it against them. The audio was great for the IMAX screen as well.

I do not recommend this place to anyone the seats are very dirty. The theater was very cold Didn’t enjoy the movie at all.. after the movie was over I ask one of the cashiers lady last night to speak with the manager and she asked me what is the problem, I explained to her and she said to me very nasty it’s nothing he can do about it. Please I do understand that but that movie theatre is to expensive for them seats to be so uncomfortable and dirty

Kiosk type ticketing available. I noticed the bar inside...that was new and different to me. Also pick where you want to sit (if available) at ticket purchase.

This theater chain could do much better starting with posting the hours of operation. Then they could actually open before the mid afternoon and accommodate people who want to catch a early movie.

Normal movie experience including forgetting my 3D glasses. Quick service at the snack bar... All together a mostly enjoyable experience.

We love the reserved seating for the theaters and the addition of some more substantial food options. Even though they charge a premium for these, they are very good quality. Use the app and avoid the line, a much faster way to get to your seat quickly.

Have been seeing movies here since atleast 1992. I love the aesthetics of the place (PLEASE DONT EVER GET RID OF THE NEONS LIGHTS!!!) and I miss the Dance Dance Revolution machine and the old arcade areas that I frequented while I was a teenager in the 2000s.Still glad this place is open though. Favorite movie theater.

Very outdated compared to other theaters these days. Other thraters have set the comfort bar higher for the prices they all charge. Also the popcorn could be fresher

The movie experience is pretty much always easy. I have my Stub rewards card, for certain perks. My only complaint is this.. The volume on The movie has been seemingly low the past few visits weve gone. I get the movie louder in my basement. Overall I like this theatre

Food was great as was the staff. However our move started 10 minutes later the audio was very poor and the seats were extremely uncomfortable,. My wife and I had to keep moving around in our seats to avoid the seats frame. To top it off the seats were small and we couldnt cuddle like a good number of theaters allow.

I like these theaters along with 12. Service is decent. They have a bar now. There are usually few distractions during a movie. Not too many art or independent movies but every once in a while.

Went there because thats where the show I wanted to see was at. I dont like where they have the Handicapped seating. People going in and out BLOCK your view. I do however prefer Showplace 12 always have since it was built.

Absolutely filthy. Bathrooms were terrible with paper, concessions, and other stuff spread across the floor. The concession area looked liked it hadnt been swept the whole day. Popcorn, candy, and wrappers were everywhere. Theater was cramped and not comfortable compared to other theaters. And the assigned seating is a joke.

Need to update its theater. It was uncomfortable to sit in those since the theater was built seats. The icy was 7 dollars for regular size and I dare not mention the popcorn rates. The movie was good. If you plan on going to view a movie there bring a seat cushion

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had here. I come here a lot and tonight was just an horrible experience. I bought my ticket and a ticket for someone else. I purchased both tickets with my credit card and the guy took the other one to hold for my friend. I was kind of in a rush because the movie had already started. I must’ve pressed the wrong ticket and instead of letting me know the big guy with red hair who took my other ticket made my guest pay the full price when he came to the front. Instead of paying the difference which was a couple of dollars he charged him for both tickets. That’s outrageous considering the fact that I come there almost every weekend. So I remember the guy and other people that work there. The place is already making profits left and right. I feel that he took advantage of the situation and overcharged him. Prices there are already high. He acted like I walked in there for free when I only made a simple mistake. It was nobody even standing there to take my ticket because there short staff. Anyone could simply walk past but instead I choose to pay for both tickets. I was too upset and I don’t consider myself going back. I’ve been to both movie theaters and instead of going back to this one I rather spend my money else where with more comfortable seating.

If they had recliner chairs I would give a gull five stars

Went to go see the my hero academia movie today (which was awesome) but before that the show started at 4:45, we called in advance, after the fourth call they answer. Just wanted to make sure the seats were available. We get there and because the lines were busy we went to purchase tickets at the kios. Little did we know the kios we used was dysfunctional once you get to checkout. Ten minutes later I say Ill go to the line. She asked cash or card, I say card. She says use the kios, I let her know that we used it and she said well use the other one because thats out of order. A sign shouldve been posted, time was wasted, and she came off as rude. Dont normally leave reviews like this but this whole thing was completely unnecessary. Great movie, clean theater. Bad experience with the cashier and obviously the time wasted on the kios.

The seats make you feel closterfobic and arent comfortable. The picture and sound were great. The price was reasonable but the concessions were a bit pricey.

The seating is the same from when it was kerasotes. Uncomfortable. They need to instruct a no infants policy. Every movie I see Im cramped in a seat and a crying baby is not far. A single whiskey on the rocks is $23. Id rather watch movies at home. Its clean though. This theater needs an upgrade.

Not a fan of this place. I had already bought my tickets so I stayed to watch my movie. The tickets were over priced, and so was a large popcorn + soda almost $18.00. Seats are very old and dirty. Never coming back again.

This is a great theatre to go to for any occasion. I have been going here since i was a kid and still go to this day. Although the prices have went up quite dramatically it is still a nice experience. They serve food and drinks. Its always clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Easy ways to purchase tickets to avoid lines. There is even an arcade which is my favorite before and after a movie. IMAX and 3D movies are shown here. Kid friendly.

A very great experience me and the kids and their mother we all have fun everybody is a popcorn and candy but the candy is a little high how do you load a refill on the pop and popcorn very great for the family I recommend for everyone to go with a family I am going again next week and then one day I am going without the kids

Well worth the extra money to spring for the IMAX version of movies.. More comfy seating for 16 and obviously a better viewing experience! Id also recommend the AMC Stubs membership if you can afford it, as it more than pays for itself after just an (IMAX) movie or two regular movies!I took off one star for AMC 16s regular movie seating, as AMC 12 (just one stop sign down the street) has better regular movie seating.

The screen was a little small but I really enjoy the theater. It was clean and comfortable. I will return when I out that way again.

With me and the family getting used to reclining seats at Marcus theater..it was hard sitting in these outdated raggedy seats... the atmosphere was nice and friendly its just time for an upgrade

With this theater being AMC I kinda expected it to have the reclining seats but they did not. I have been spoiled and when I walked in here and saw the regular, boxed together, straight up and down cushion seats (which look like they have seen waaaay to many bottoms) I was let down. They were all dirty and stained and frankly made me feel disgusting to sit in them. At least try to clean those cushions if youre not going to upgrade!

Overall good solid theater. Only real gripe is that there is assigned seating. Has a bar in the lobby, which is interesting.

Havent been to the movies in awhile things have really changed!!!! Went to see the Joker didnt know what to expect I must say it was very touching and sad (a must see) loved the new set up of the theater!!! Will be back sooner

This place is disgusting. The seats are old, dirty, and gross. I couldnt even sit back in the seat, because it was filthy. The theatre smelled like a school bus after a field trip to the farm on a rainy day. Like literally smelled like years of dirty people. The prices are way to high for such a dump. Idk how they have so many new 4 or 5 star reviews. Maybe they reviewers are at the one behind it, amc 12, and think they are reviewing 16. 12 is cleaner, but not as nicely done as many others in IL, and 16 is a total dump.

This AMC only gets 3 stars the other AMCs are better, they allow you to lift up the cup holders this one didnt, this one does have more leg space though.

My husband and I shook in a show on a Sunday. Black & Blue I rate the movie a 6-1/2. The prices for the food is ridiculous. I had a good time.

This theater (and AMC Shererville 12) DESPERATELY need to be ugraded like the AMC theaters in Illinois! The theaters are so old that sitting through a movie is literally a pain in the dupa! Its nice that they built a bar for adult beverages, but, didnt see it until we left. Wondering when the recliner seats are coming? Will travel elsewhere just for comfort.

Sound was horrible seats are dirty and it was stuffy and hot. Last time for us. The price for entertainment should be satisfactory at best. No surround sound at a theater! Thats pushing it. Its a no for me. Check around 1st..and be comfortable at another theater.
