The CRC has the most professional and courteous staff around. And under the current circumstances they are making the environment an incredibly safe place to work out. Very grateful for the CRC during these challenging times. They definitely prioritize the health and fitness of community members and I am very grateful for that.

I went here for the birthday party and felt this place is really good for hosting kids birthday parties.The party rooms are huge they have kids play areasThey also have a lot of others facilities and activities that you can enroll for.

My 17mo son loves the swings there! He has loved then since he was about 5 months old, first time took him to this awesome park!

They have a ton going on and great rental rates as well the the park and playground is too close to the street and it’s hard to manage multiple kids without assistance, a fence would be a huge improvement and really is needed. They have a great little tandem swing for mom and babe plus a handicap/harness swing as well. Theirs an indoor water park in the build and it almost always has a kid playing so there’s always an opportunity to make new friends. Fun little park and great amenities too.

What a great park my kids loved it! They have a ninja warrior playground and they also have the double swing were a parent sits on one side and the child on the other. So much fun highly recommended

CRC is a value for money. Have been a member for more than a decade. The indoor track is a blessing. I wish they worked on resurfacing the track with a comfortable material. The current hard wood floor makes it slightly uncomfortable to run.

We had a ham radio club meeting there. Well run and clean place. Very nice.

Had our daughters 10th birthday party there we all couldnt of had a better time the people there were awesome and very helpful

I saw the theater production, Grease at the CRC this evening. Wonderful opportunity for the kids, seasoned and newer performers, good fun! The cast gets 5 stars, the park district does not. They need to rent a theater like they did last year. Tonight the show was held in the gym and the seats were folding chairs. Super hard to sit on for 2 hours!

Love the SPD! The remodel looks really beautiful. The classes are great, prices fair, facility clean. You cant ask for more.

Went here for drop-in yoga classes. Much cheaper than the pay ahead ones with the park district & I liked this option for a while because I was busy & couldnt commit to a night a week.

Its a fun place to spend some time with kids.

Love this place. Great staff, clean facility, and lots and lots of events and activities to choose to sign up for! Pool, Gym, daycare so you can use facility, sauna after you are done working out. My husband goes to play basketball on specific day for his age group. My children enjoy the activities and the pool too! Yes

A good overall facility. They have good child care services.The kids enjoy the pool area.Parking can be challenging to find a spot and quite far for handicap.

I go there for the Gym. The gym is very well equipped. There is also a jogging trail which is 1/12th of a mile, not long, but works. I always enjoy working out here. A very cozy environment.

Our daughter participates in the dance program at the rec center, and we have the gym membership. Its a great place; the staff is very helpful and friendly. The pricing is fair and the facility is nice and well maintained.

This place is great. They charge $1 per dY for kids to play basketball indoors. It saved me during this harsh winter...

Not a resistance training area. Not a single free barbell just 2 smith machines . Huge chunk of space used for a 360 deck that is very light used. Cardio area that has tons of redundant machines and y they are rarely a quarter full. Should have more variety.

Indoor Swimming! Blizzards literally hitting in hours. Why not take the kids swimming? $5/child, $7/adult. Cant go wrong. 4 pools: drops, diving, slides, main pool, kids pool. Clean, lots of room, free lockers, and great beef grilled hot dogs and grilled cheeseburgers from the concession stand. My kids Love this place, yours will too!

Birthday party for a two year old had an amazing indoor play area with foam toys and slides. Our park district party host was absent for half the party, the other half spent leaning against a wall doing nothing.

Had a party here, they were very accommodating, extremely caring. Reasonable price ... So glad we decided to rent a room here!

For residents, theres really no reason to pay for a commercial gym membership when youve got this place around. A really great facility, lots of machines, free weights, a great track.

I am very disappointed with the first impression service I received from an older lady sitting in the front desk today at 8 in the morning. The truth is, that if people are unhappy with their jobs, they shouldnt be there. I went through the entrance closest to bode rd and was looking for the before school program called Kasper. With it being the first day, I must have understood wrong and thought the program took place at this site. I arrived and asked the front desk lady where the kasper program was and she pointed towards the back of the hall. I then went searching for the classroom and found nothing. I came back to her and she seemed bothered that I had interrupted her newspaper reading and took me to the back again. She looked so bothered by my daughter and my presence she then went back to her desk and blabbered on my situation. This is the first service I acquire from the rec center, and I am so sad, disappointed to know that your staff treats people this way, especially in moments of confusion. I apologize for being confused this morning, but I also promise that I will not seek any services again.

CRC is a decent place to work out for beginners. Lacks the correct equipment for advanced weight training.

Dont have any type of party or event here.. this is where im sopose to have my baby shower! They literally suck first i was told 1 price of 50 an hr then i was told $75 an hr NOW IM BEING TOLD 70 AN HR like whats the real price. I thrn was only shown 1 peice of paper conferming my down payment!! Witch i thaught was $50 an hr .. then got emaild the other peices of paper that i didnt get shown when I was at the office.. i did not sighn those papers because I wasnt shown them. To make ot even worse you cant decorate the windows or walls or do anything fsncy so basically just streamers snd balloons. I thaught because It had 2 bullion bords id tack the games to the bulletin boards obviously thats an issue now too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPENDING YOUR MONEY SOMWHERE ELSE THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! They have a kitchen to rent and we arnt alowed to even cook the chicken nuggets there for the kids. Its absolutely ridiculous!!! Like i said the only reason im stuck having my baby shower there is because of the invitations thst were already sent out.
