Full of girls. Serious two dudes in here. This is amazing tonight!!!!
Went for my birthday and absolutely loved it! The decorations were amazing. It was packed, but it was after midnight on a Saturday. I got to the bar with relative ease, but finding a place to sit was a little tricky. Asked for a sweet drink, got a great drink that was really strong and cheaper than most drinks at a restaurant. The music was a little weird, but was really fun to dance to! Definitely going to come here next time Im in Savannah.
Really a terrible place. Bad food, music and service. Dont know how this place stays in business. Must not really need revenue.
Having been a goth/industrial DJ since 1994, Ive got fairly decent G/I credentials and seek out places like this in new cities. This was a complete disappointment. I went on a Wed evening and, granted I wasnt in full goth regalia, the bartender was completely apathetic, even though there were only 3 other people in the place. I wouldnt have minded this had the music been half-way decent. But to call it Hot-Topic goth would be kind to Hot Topic. It was all gay disco rave music. Had there been some Sisters or SKP or Cult or Wumpscut or FLA or *anything* half-way decent, I would have stayed for a second drink. But this place is pure tourist pablum. There is no reason to go ... for anyone.
My boyfriend and I, who both tend bar for a living, stopped here for a drink while bar hopping on Friday the 13th in Savannah. It seemed fitting because the advertising outside suggested the bar was having an epic party for Friday the 13th. We made up two of the 10 patrons but it was early in the night. I noticed one of the featured drink specials was something called a Hand Grenade. I asked the bartender the ingredients to which she replied, ummmm vodka.... ummmm raspberry.... i think there might be some grenadine. I decided I probably shouldnt order the specialty feature drink since the bartender had no idea how to make it. Instead, I specifically ordered a Baby Guiness on the rocks. This confused the young girl because most people order it as a shot. About this time a group of 6 left the bar--down to 4. She placed our drinks on the bar and walked around to the other side, sat on a bar stool beside two other employees, all of which were playing with their phones, leaving no person behind the bar. Our bartender remained there for the rest of our short stay. At least we had the pleasure of viewing the Direct TV logo bouncing around a vacant screen. My boyfriend and I both felt as if we inconvenienced this girl by ordering drinks. A monkey could see that the nearly empty bar was a direct reflection of her attitude and complete disregard for customer service. She seemed inexperienced but engaging your customers in conversation is just basic. While the appearance and decor were interesting, there are several bars within walking distance which offer better service. We couldnt get out of there fast enough probably because we didnt have our bartenders number to text that we were ready for our check.
