I agree with some of the others that left reviews. I felt like they segregated me and made me feel like an outcast. I ended up leaving and will give my business elsewhere. My daughter could have spent tons of money there because art is her favorite however this place will NEVER get my business. Do yourself a favor shop elsewhere.

This art store has something for everyone! located at the end of one of the busiest streets in Savannah, GA, this store is easy to get to and a whole lot of fun inside. Attentive and informative staff members are always ready to assist you and the layout of the store makes sense if you are just looking for a certain type of supplies.Do not shy away from this store if you are not a professional artist. They have something for everyone. From high end equipment to fun everyday affordable supplies and a whole aisle of paper!Yes it is air conditioned, so it is a nice place to walk around and take your time in the heat of summer as well.Are you just visiting the area? Then pick up some quick pieces to sketch at the beach or a watercolor set; which is the only way to capture the beauty of Savannah. Everyone has photos of their trip, you can have an original art piece instead.The back to school sale is a great time to stock up on supplies. They also have plenty of parking around on the street and you can use the Park Savannah app for ease. they have a frequent buyer card which is free to enroll. All around a great place to go for your art needs.

First the pros:1. Prices are fair and you can often get a great deal when they run a sale.2. Lots of variety to choose from.3. Service is fast.The con:This is a major one for me. As a person of color, I try very hard not to assume that a sales person is treating me differently due to my ethnicity. But each time I shop here, there are these little micro aggressions I pick up on from a few of the associates that leave me feeling like my presence is not appreciated or that Im viewed as a loss prevention threat. Ive worked retail for years and I know how certain groups of individuals are treated in contrast with other groups. Its never in your face but there is this undercurrent attitude - i.e. why are you here; I need to keep an on eye this person; preferential checkout services to a certain ethnic group although it was clear I was in the line first; or this particular rule applies to you but not the other customer.Its rare that my family and I shop here because its not a convenient location for us, but I like to treat my children to this store because they love the variety of art supplies. It is truly unfortunate that the few times we have shopped here, the experience is consistently the same.As the saying goes, Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Its safe to say thatll Ill be choosing another art supply store in the future. Im sure you wont miss my business though.

They had what I needed, in stock and at the store, but the person was so put out having to answer two straightforward questions about product availability that I ordered it online and had it in one day and saved about 30% on the same item. I dont enjoy talking on the phone either my man, but you signed on for it and when the website doesnt provide local availability we may have to actually speak....unless you just order it from Amazon.

I have been shopping at this store for the last two years. The staff is always helpful and pleasant to deal with. The store is generally well-stocked. During this period of dealing with the coronavirus, they have provided curbside contactless service.

Blick is where I go when I need specific art supplies that I need quickly. Normally I order offline for different places but when you need something this is the best art supply place in town. They are somewhat limited, although I have found that if you request certain supplies and can show that you will use enough of those supplies over the course of a quarter they will try their best to get that supply in for you, even if the rest of Blick stores wont carry that item. I do wish that they carried more sculpting supplies. If you are looking for painting supplies though they have almost everything that you need. The staff is pretty helpful overall. They are students or recent alumni so they know what they are talking about.

I love Blick. It is the ultimate art supply store here. The amazing thing is that I looked online before visiting the store and I found everything in store that I wanted to purchase. The employees are outstanding and can take you to any item in store that you need. That in itself I found amazing. I myself will continue to go to Blick for my art supplies.

They have such a large variety or stuff for just about everything. Id describe it as art heaven. The isles are filled to the brim with just about anything you can imagine. This was my 1st time going and I was astonished. 10/10 going again!!! An absolute art wonderland.

I could spend all day here! The staff was very friendly almost to the point of over friendly maybe thats because they were slow. Very nice store. Clean and so many options. Only downside I would say is the location. At least it is in a slower area of downtown.

A nice art store that is more fairly priced than most, but not quite fairly priced. The staff is nice, but maybe a little overbearing, but nothing that really bothered me. A nice little art shop for sure.

As a SCAD student, I come here all the time for art supplies, both for my classes and for my personal use. The staff is always friendly, if you have any questions they are super willing to help. They’ve shown me where in the store things are and I’ve actually called the store from home and the worked went to check if what I wanted was in stock before I went to go get it. I also had a worker help me find a more vegetarian alternative to bone folders. I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff.It’s definitely more pricey than hobby lobby or Michaels, but it’s way cheaper than Ex Libris and any other new art stores in the area.This place is definitely my number one go to for art supplies.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, but prices....you can get same quality, cheaper at Amazon or Walmart, or even Hobby Lobby.

The people working there are super helpful to fake art students such as myself. Prices are great of course, whole reason people go here instead of Ex Libris. Their membership thing is really just promoting their website sales, but do it! Saves money woot woot

I went to the Blick store in Savannah to buy art supplies for my Daughter’s birthday. The sales associate, Veronica, was incredibly gracious and helpful in assisting me with selecting an easel, canvases, paints, brushes, etc. I can’t begin to express how positive my shopping experience was and hopefully let the owner/manger know that their employee did an excellent job. This is the most amazing art store I have ever been to in my life. I was in awe walking through the aisles and looking at all the stuff. They have EVERYTHING an artist could ever need with a range of selections and prices that wont eat up all your money. I wish I could just live there. Staff is also really helpful and can help with any questions you may have.

This place is a great quick stop for studio art materials. While the in store collection is not as comprehensive as the full online Blick catalog, they can order or direct you to their website for anything nor carried in store.

This place was super nice! It is similar to Michaels, but as it is very near to the Savannah College of Art and Design it felt much more like an art store for supplies and such that artists and art students would need, much more so than a craft store like Michaels.

We just visited yesterday. You need to know what things should cost because somethings are high. But other items can be a really good deal. I buy a lot of items there, because it is easier than buying online and paying shipping. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly if you need help.

Blicks has almost everything you might need for art. Airbrush supplies, drafting supplies, print making supplies, etc. The prices can be a bit high but if you can catch a sale you can get really deep discounts.

I love all locations of Black Art Materials, however this one in Savannah is my absolute favorite, (although maybe not for the best reason). This Blick has the most helpful and kind employees, that never make you feel stupid for asking questions, and will go out of their way to help you in any way possible. Blick is a Mecca of art supplies, although I would not suggest it if you are looking for craft supplies, as this is really an art supply store. They have reasonable prices, sales all the time, and their store brand items are pretty darn good. The reason that it is my favorite location is because this Blick also has an aisle of really adorable, do not need, but really want, adorable gifty items. If you are good at saying no to yourself, youre good to go....if not, go down every asile except the middle aisle in the first half of the store

Really great high-end art supply store with helpful and friendly staff. There are a lot of materials here. Many items cost more than elsewhere, but when you need something, youll find it here. The only trouble Ive run into is picking up items I did not walk in the store to buy.

They have everything you could need, but youre still going to pay a lot of money for things. The most common products; canvas, prismacolor, micros, paints, etc., they all cost the same as any Michaels or any other craft store. The staff is really friendly, though.

It was amazing. Everything was very high quality and very imaginative. Though everything is a bit pricey, this is a must visit for all artists.
