Bartenders and music were great. We visited several times in the spring. We were having a good time until we tried to pull 100$ out of the ATM and it spit out 40$. The owners happened to be there that night and the lady owner refused to do anything about it. She said even though it took 100$ out of our account it should correct itself later. Won’t ever come here again on principal.

Good dance floor and music

It was a good time I like it over there on the East Coast and its a very warm and friendly Beach Bar place.

I went to Chesters last night for the first time. I went alone to watch the Bolts game. Phil, the bartender was great. Out of nowhere a beautiful redhead bought me a drink based on me being a bolts fan. We sat and talked with some of the men at the bar for a couple hours and had some laughs. And even though the Bolts lost to the Capitals....I won by taking this hot woman home. Id say it was a good night. :)

Great place for live music with a big stage and bar, good size dance floor. Mostly locals go there, since its off the beach area. But what a great little spot in Gulf Gate! You can easily hop in and out of each place. Cool spot

Great music and even better live music usually on the weekends. Lots of pool tables and dart boards to keep the fun at an all time high. Bartenders are the best in the area and love their job. Definitely one of the gems in town and a must go for the night life crowd. Fair pricing on drinks, fun, and cigarettes. In my first night out (among plenty after) I found that they take their audio seriously and have a kick ass sound. Live or jukebox music sounds amazing. Chesters Reef is the biggest and best bar in this area and will make you feel like you are in the right place.

This is a great venue for live music a huge bar, an appropriately-sized dance floor and really good acoustics. I saw a reggae band there, ja something-or-other. This thing is it was one of the best reggae shows Ive ever seen in my life and I have seen everyone from Bob Marley live Peter Tosh Burning Spear name it Ive seen them live. These guys are as good and maybe better than some of the top names and reggae. I had a great time and if they play there again Im going LOL.

Love the open air atmosphere, place looks newly renovated and bathrooms are beautiful...they had karaoke tonight and we were told they have live music on weekends. I’d rate it a 5 but for the SMOKE. We could barely breathe and left reeking like cigarette smoke.

Since Jeff took over I actually enjoy being there. It always been a great place to go and party but Jeff is definitely making great and new changes to the place. The staff there are definitely amazing as well.

They have really classed this place up! Same great bartenders but better venue. The only thing is now the drinks are super expensive, but I suppose that is to be expected this close to the key

This used to be a cool bar. Now it’s just poop music with a bunch of wasted people. And I mean wastedddd... annnnd they’re still being served drinks. I miss the old place when it was Boar’s Head.

Patrons beware!!! When i got my bill it seemed high and the bartender only gave me a bill for the full amount. I asked for a detailed bill and noticed a charge called entertainment fee by the bartender COCO on the sports bar side. When I questioned the bartender he gave no reason for the charge but pointed to himself. We went to the other side and were charged a $5 fee to hear the band so I asked to speak to manager about the $4 entertainment fee i was charged on the other side and she just gave me my money back but offered no explanation. My friends later realized the same bartender charged their credit card after they had paid cash. The manager now cant find a receipt at the bar and is putting it on my friends to bring in their bank statement to prove the charge and said she would give them their money back. Something inst right at this place. We are locals so I wonder what going on with our visitors....

Great bartenders nice people

Drinks are pretty good but definitely disappointed in their rude DJ. Wouldnt even hear my request and said I know when to play my music. I AM the customer, not you buddy. Dont think Ill come back here for the dance floor. I was told I am not allowed on stage either, but no sign is posted anywhere?
