Fun club. My friend and I attended the girls night out show featuring The Official Magic Mike live tour. What a show. Very entertaining. Everyone was having a great time and it got very wild.

Great band, loved the interior changes since we were last there. We wish they had a food menu.We were there celebrating 2 birthdays, we had a great night!

Great beer and liquor prices. Always has an even going on or coming up. Best staff around. Bartenders knowledgeable and will cater to your likes. (I have my own shot that I order not on menu or common knowledge).

The Music didnt start when it was supposed to so they put on this terrible comedian. This comedian definitely should not quit her day job.The drinks were expensive for the pour.Dont waste your time going here.

A good sized bar with indoor and outdoor areas. Good vibes! They have a variety of great live music almost every night of the week. They have rock, acoustic, soul, Ska, 90s covers, metal, and jam bands often. They do still have reggae there too. Which I like the most personally. Treedomm is playing this Friday!

Cute little cozy place. Good atmosphere, fun music. Mostly middle aged crowd. Drinks werent anything special. Bathrooms are satisfactory, wouldnt eat off anything but other than that I enjoyed it.

Good dive bar. Watched Greg Billings Band. Good acoustics. Bar service was superb. I will watch for other bands I enjoy at this venue.

Well-known local bar, good drinks, local entertainment, less-than-stellar house sound person. couldnt hear the singer, bass and drums too loud. audience didnt seem to care...

Great staff and excellent venue for live music .We caught an awesome new band called Experimental Farm Road doing sixties covers and brilliant original songs. Ill be going back on April 18 to see them again.

Let me just say I was ripped off. My girlfriends and I barely ever go out. I realize I had too many drinks but to take a vantage of somebody who has been drinking is ridiculous ! I was told by all of my friends that we only had six shots and I was charged for 13 and then after I left the club I realize they had also charge me $40 tip!! I feel like everyone needs to know to be aware they might rip you off so check your receipts !! So my total bill for two hours of being there was $183.50 !! That is absolutely insane!!

I went to this place one day to hear someone play music later that evening. I knew him from Fogt Music Store. The place was a dump. Full of weirdos and low-life, including some jerk that was messing with me at the bar. I didnt even stick around long enough for that band to perform. I got out of there and never went back. Horrible experience. Now, this was a few years back and the place may have changed. Im just telling my story of the one time I went to the Five Oclock Club.

This place used to be pretty decent a few years ago, but now hardly anyone comes here. They dont have a DJ that performs here anymore, and the live performers arent very good. Thursday nights were my favorite times to come here because of the reggae band but they dont perform there now. Place seems empty and devoid of night life. I wouldnt bother coming here now.

Would like to see more drink specials. Nice place for some live music. Low lighting sets for the atmosphere. Saw mumbo jumbo play who were excellent. Older crowd this evening but across from hospital so imagine it varies. No food only drinks.

Went there every Saturday night for 10 years....miss the way it was. Was THE place to be. If you advertise music nightly in your post, why do you not have music on Saturday night, the second busiest night of the week? George needs to come back.

RIP 5-O...Not the same place since it was sold. I guarentee the positive reviews are from last few months and more than likely tourists, new to area recently retired baby boomers who think any place with a bar is great.This was a Sarasota late night, great live music ICON. Now just a shell but no doubt making money for the owners. So sad.

Friendly bar tenders and patrons. Great music but very loud. Not a lot of seating but yet, I found a table. Lots of dancers having a good time. $5 cover. Happy hour until 7 pm. Sundays feature great blues music starting at 5.

Nice little bar with live music. There is a cover charge, usually $5.00. Drink prices are legit. Only one pool table. Out side patio is really nice though.

Too quiet on a Saturday night

This bar is one of Sarasotas best. The owner George does a great job with offering good liquor and beer selection and attracts great live music venues. You can even see some famous artist perform at times.

Its changed a lot from what it used to be. Sadly now its quite commercialized. But at least there is still live music on Friday nights, and the happy hour is good.

Awful place. It says online that they played Jazz they didnt it was hard rock and way too loud you couldnt hear yourself think. They have a pool table in the middle of the room so we thought we would play pool but everybody kept hanging around the pool table so you couldnt do that either. Im saying this in a kind way but it look like thats where all the street people hung out. Which is cool, all very nice people and they were enjoying dancing and singing very much. Just not my kind of place to hang out.

This used to be Sarasotas own Cheers. Everyone including the bartenders( especially Allie) new your name and made you feel at home. No more your just another $$ to them.

They cleaned it up nicely. But lost everything that made it the 5O. Just like every other Evies property. So sad.

I guess this is a somewhat decent place for live music. Drinks are very low quality and over priced. Music way too loud for the space. Like ear splitting. Bring ear plugs. Ancient stage area and hasnt changed in 25 years. It isnt smoky so thats good. A few pretty good music acts come through here regularly I guesd

I love this place. Thursday night with Democracy is so much fun. No drama, drinks are very well made, little pricey for my drink, but other than that I love it. Start dancing at 10:30pm and dont stop until 2am............great place to release stress and dance the night away!!!!!
