Its just a plaque and seating area but its a nice little bit of history. Its located near downtowns dining and shopping hub which is also convenient.

Great spot to sit in the shade and reflect on the history of Sarasota. Well kept, landscaped, mostly quiet, it even has benches and a water fountain. Good spot to think about your plans for the afternoon or evening with a group. As in, should we go to the Marina, or stay downtown?
