My Wife and I have lived here (renters) for eleven years. The grounds are full of mature trees and are well maintained. Our Condo is on the Third fairway just off of the golf cart path, so the early maintenance equipment often wake you before 7am. All of my neighbors are golfers and rave about the course but I have never played it. The SBG&CC clubhouse is very nice and serves some tasty foods. We do not plan on moving anytime soon!

First off, I want to thank Frank Leahy, the PGA GM, for the wonderful dining and golf experience today. The food and hospitality were fantastic and greatly appreciated. As far as the golf course is concerned, I have nothing negative to say. I played in a twosome today and I (3 handicap) along with my playing partner (beginner) had an equal amount of fun on this track. Very well manicured (I’ve only seen better on tour courses), and for the distance (6500 from the tips) the course was challenging due to well-places hazards and small, sloping greens (which were also very smooth and consistent). Would recommend this track to anyone in the area.

One of the best maintained course and driving range in the Sarasota area. Great club house, regular special menu offerings. Great bar. Golf pro and instructor Susan is a great person and very effective instructor. Youll have a wonderful golf experience at Stoneybrook!

Played today 10/1/2018, the course is in great condition and at $30 including lunch and a beer is good value.

My bartender Misty is the absolute best. Beautiful property. Ask for Misty, you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful course with lots of long holes and somewhat difficult for a Florida track. Prices are great in off season.

Awful. Did not get to eat so dont know about food. Dress code is appalling. Black clean jeans not allowed but dirty ill fitting cargo shorts are ok. Coincidentally if you show up in jeans you can go to their pro shop and purchase shorts which are acceptable. Interesting gimmick.

Very nice Arthur Hills design course in Palmer Ranch. Well maintained and a variety of tees to suit most players.

Sunday Brunch was splendid. An amazing value.

If you aren’t a member I wouldn’t go. Maybe I was just unlucky but I had to leave after 9 holes because the member I got stuck with was rude. I’d recommend legacy in Lakewood ranch or Lakewood national which is cheaper and better service.

New course improvements very impressive! Food in clubhouse is superb! Love to take the whole family to brunch in the clubhouse!! :-)

I was there for a banquet and I would say it was adequate for groups of no more than a hundred.
