Because the place is being remodeled, the rooms were very cheap when we stayed. Even though the rooms are very outdated and a bit dumpy (hence the renovations), we got such a great deal that it was totally worth it. A lot of sound passes through the walls and ceiling (if on the bottom floor), and though we didnt have too many issues when we stayed because there were so few guests, I hope the renovations address this. Also, we stayed on a weekend so there was no construction noise. The pool and surrounding lounge area are fantastic; a shallow end that is 1.5-3 ft deep that is perfect for kids who cant swim or are just learning. Note that most of the pool is set up for lap swimming though so those areas arent available for play swim like most kids do. The Wild Bird restaurant has a small menu but is quite good with their burger being one of the top 5 burgers Ive ever had. The renovated outdoor seating for the restaurant was nice. The staff also were friendly. The only reason its not 5 stars is because the rooms are so outdated. When the renovations are finished, Im sure the place will be 5 stars (the new front desk/lobby was largely completed when we stayed and it looks very nice)... though the price will certainly be double or triple what we paid.
Our first room was very nice and clean but the smell of marijuana from the neighboring rooms was overwhelming. Couldnt turn on the AC because the smell would come in through the vents. We called and asked to be moved the next morning. The second room was a joke. I know theyre renovating but why would you put someone in an unfinished room?! The headboards were not attached to the wall so everytime you sat down or got up it would bang against the wall. The entire second floor was under construction so we had to deal with that all day, leaving the parking lot full and hard to park even though only a few rooms were being used. On our first morning in the second room the water was shut off without any notice, so no showers. Thats when we decided to leave and book a room somewhere else. We have stayed at the flamingo before and loved it. I was really looking forward to stay they again but unfortunately its just not the same. Picture included is of the closet the only other furniture were a small desk and a couple of chairs with what looked like a patio table. Leaving all of our clothes and belongings on the floor.
We adore the Flamingo! Even amidst pandemic protocols and a remodel, our stay felt safe, our room was clean and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Their pop up restaurant, Wild Bird, has awesome fried chicken. The pool is one of the best around and I can’t wait to return to see the full scope remodel. It’s great to see a piece of Santa Rosa history being restored to its full potential.
We had a wonderful time. The staff was great and we enjoyed the pool.
This place is a bit of a mixed bag. Its a bit older for sure and caters to generally older clientele in my experience. I happen to be there for a meeting. The restaurant food we had was pretty good. My room was in overall good condition but it is definitely dated. The room itself is okay but a bit dated. The shower is tiny small and the water pressure was nearly non-existent.The place is just old and theres no way around that. There is a health club on the adjacent facility but you have to pay to use it but at least it has decent equipment in it.Its in a nice area which Im sure I guess is what everyone is paying for because the facility itself is just older and dated.
Great family hotel.
Love the flamingo
This is a very nice place to stay. The staff are very courteous and kind and helpful. I appreciate the staff. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. The only thing negative I can say is not to much parking and I have difficulty doing stairs and part of hotel does not have an elevator. We are here because of evacuation from the fires so thats just a slight irritation.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!! They did not follow any pandemic safety protocols. The pool was packed full, way too many people there. I won’t be surprised if it ends up being a super spreading event. Honestly they should be shut down. Also they lied to me about reserving a cabana by the pool, they said you could not reserve them in advance, they said you could only reserve them ‘day of’ but when I arrived at 10am to reserve one they had all been reserved in advance. Apparently they had told many people this and lied to a bunch of hotel patrons, who arrived at the hotel and were upset. When I went to the front desk to complain, they told me that I could take my money and leave if I was unhappy about their lies or that I could take it up with the pool staff (who was just a very young man who seemed very overwhelmed and unprepared for the grown adults getting upset with him, he was a lovely kid).By midday it seemed like the staff was overwhelmed, they couldn’t do anything about a giant family group that was taking over the pool. Then the next morning, my two friends and I were hanging by the pool and they tried to tell us to leave... I paid for a king suite by the pool, we were hanging in front of our room. These people have no idea how to run a business and they are not prepared to be open during a pandemic or at all really. I really wish I hadn’t stayed at this hotel.
We were checking in as evacuees from a near by wild fire. The confirmation text I received the day we were checking in said check in begins at 3pm. Having left our previous hotel at 11am, my kids, pets and I had no where to go and went to the flamingo at 2pm to see if we could get an early check in. I checked in and was told a room should be available by 3pm. After sitting in the parking lot for an hour, I went back in and spoke with a different person who was extremely rude and informed me check in was at 4pm. I came back at 4pm and talked with the first girl that checked me in at 2pm. She said she checked in with housekeeping at 3:55 who was currently cleaning the room and it would be ready by 4:20pm. At 4:20 (35 minutes after they supposedly started cleaning the room) I was told they were working on it. At 4:50 I gave up and canceled our reservation. I may not have been so upset if it was happening to everyone else, but it wasnt. I watched several people drive up, get their keys and head to their rooms.
This is place is really nice big rooms old style super beautiful pool area and spa outside bar really one of a kind
I’ve been here quite a few times and Love this place. However right now, a good portion of the hotel is under construction including the lobby and restaurant . Not a huge deal - less people - except there is a constant shortage of pool towels, we’ve tried to get washcloths and hand towels to no avail, the pool bar/food is closed on Monday-Tuesdays. And possible pool towels are closed M-T!?! A little disappointing since this is one of my favorite places...we’ll muddle through a few more days with our first world problems!
Always stay here when I come to Santa Rosa. The staff is warm and welcoming. The service is spot on! The rooms are quiet. The trees are beautiful! Its right across the street from my favorite breakfast place, Hanks Creekside Cafe! Love it!
Under construction and in need of an update . Im sure they will be back to normal and the ole school Art deco feel of The Flamingo Hotel will be very nice once again !
While the resort was renovating at large, it was a wonderful place to stay and I look forward to staying again when the renovations were complete. Well done to the staff and resort!
Not marked well if you arrive after dark. No restaurants for breakfast or food after 8 pm. Parking lot was dirty with garbage. Black pair of socks outside our room were still in driveway when we left. They say they are eco friendly but no recycling bins were in room.Great place to lay in the sun and swim but not great to just stay traveling thru town.Fire alarm started beeping at 7am. We texted office but never got a response or apology.I really wanted to like this place.
Ray & the staff are amazing. The Flamingo has been our home away from home for many years.Even with covid, fires & remodeling of the property The Flamingo has been a place where we can escape from the craziness.️
Knowledge on rates and services as well of description of suits, services and restaurants. Excellant
1st visit to Santa Rosa this resort the flamingo has what it takes to be a winner our room was very spacious & clean.this place will always be #1
Quaint, rustic, and under construction. A large portion is not accessible but the rooms are clean and quiet they have a decent bar for adults enjoying an evening alone or with someone else
This place is wicked great! Killer pool, poolside food and drinks. Straight crushing Rosa this weekend
It was a maze to find the hotel entrance and the room. The phone was died and the TV was not ready to watch, so I had to request for service. The faucet was almost plugged up, water run very weak from the sink .
Check in very fast and efficient. Nice place. Room was updated clean and comfortable. Bed was great.nice location. Bar and restaurant on site. Swing dancing tonight. Nice conference rooms. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful big heated pool. Spa is great.could use one more for the amount of rooms. Very nicely landscaped grounds.
Positive: The location Negative: Hot water was not very hot and the TV was too small
We went to get away for a day at the pool. It was exactly walhat I was expecting.
Positive: Location Negative: Heating control hard to find right room temp.
How adorable is this place?! It has a very 1950-60s Palm Springs or Catskills feel that is almost frozen in time, but with all the modern conveniences. The pros: clean and updated rooms and grounds make the stay inviting. Large pool and lots of room around it to stretch out. The restaurant food is delicious. The staff in the restaurant is very attentive. Parking is also easy as you park near your room and there are several entry options with your key, so the walk with luggage is not a hard one. The AC and heating are great. Wonderful control of the room. The cons: there is only one flat bed sheet as a bottom sheet and no top sheet on the bed, this is gross to us so we asked for additional sheets which they had no problem providing, but the wait was long and thats difficult when you want to sleep. The coffee maker is in the restroom....there is plenty of space on the desk and dresser, it would be nice to move this, I dont care to drink from a cup that is 3 feet from the toilet. The front desk staff isnt the most friendly. The two interactions I had with them, I seemed to be bothering them, although no one else was around. Both staff members looked very unkempt, not exactly the best first impression or follow up one... they were able to answer my questions, so other than making me feel awkward, I guess it was fine. It gets a high score on being adorable. With a little focus on the small things this could be the most adorable place to spend a week at a time relaxing.
Resort has a convenient location in Santa Rosa. We visited this place in October 2017. After we check in we were given a coupons for breakfasts at the resort, which were not really impressive. I was expecting something more healthy and vibrant. All breakfasts were blend and boring. We also received a pass to the lap pool at the tennis club right by the resort- nice touch. Our hotel room was large and clean. The restaurant at the Resort was closing very early every night so we had to go to eat into the town. The Resort is really just ok, it does have a good location in Sonoma wine county. After two days there unfortunately we had to be evacuated from the resort due to the fire at Santa Rosa . It was devastating for the town. In the rush from the resort we forgot my wifes bathrobe and her fancy sunglasses. After calling and talking to the manager Don Hamilton for many times we never received our items back., even we gave him a very exact descriptions of our lost items. I don t think we will be back.
When I was gathering our stuff to check out, Underneath the bed was someone elses sock, And the dust bunnies were pretty good size
Friendly and helpful... pool and hot tub are excellent!
Positive: The beds were excellent. I slept well. The amenities were good (nice pool) if you wanted to use them. The architecture was interesting. Cleaning staff was very nice. Negative: Under major construction with noise and Workman everywhere. Kids camp going on. Incredibly strong pot smell on our floor the whole time we were there. Carpets really stained and old. TV was small and far from bed.
It was incredibly busy during the check in and we were checking in early before noon. I was greeted kindly by a nice young lady who still gave great service despite the chaos. Was off to a great start. During the check in process, there was an issue with my credit card processing. I knew it wasnt my credit card. She told me that she would get the help of her supervisor (Aaron? brown hair). He came up and was extremely rude to this girl, claimed that she had messed it all up and then decided to direct this disrespect towards me, in a condescending tone. It was a code error issue - which seems unacceptable for this type of hotel. I feel sorry for the people who work here. The rooms were dated and I would have been excited for the remodel. Maybe they should remodel their staff - specifically this man. My wife and I will not be returning here.
They regulate the hot water temperature so it’s really just warm and the water pressure in the shower is not very good. I will not be staying here again.
This hotel was not great. The computers were down when we were trying to check in, so it took forever, then a manager came out and said she could check me in from her office, so I handed over my credit card and ID, then she proceeded to take them back to her office. I did not like that she took them both together out of my sight. The rooms were updated and everything looked decent... until I went to climb into bed. The sheets on both beds in my room were dirty! I was disgusted. I was only staying one night and didnt see the filth until so late at night that I just pulled off the comforter and slept on top of the sheet and took my shirt I had worn that day to separate my face from the pillowcase.I loved the Charlie Brown and Snoopy statues in the lobby, and the furniture looks nice... clearly they need to be changing the sheets between guests. I wouldnt opt to stay here again if given the option.
Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Defiantly worth a stay
The outlet in the bathroom did not work. Didnt notice that the heater did not work until we got back late to our room and didnt want the hassle of changing rooms. Breakfast cafe was very good and reasonable. Plenty of parking. Glad there were no resort fees.
Friendly Staff & Reasonable Prices.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were dated and had maintenance issues. We stayed in two different rooms. Both had lamps that werent plugged in and electric outlets that were dead. The maids that cleaned our rooms didnt replace wash clothes. We requested them from the front desk but didnt ever receive any. They are starting an update project. Hopefully this includes adjustable mattresses, smart televisions and USB charging ports.
Positive: Location was good.
Positive: The gentleman in the reception was very professional and friendly Negative: The hotel was under construction and it gave a unpleasant look. The pandemic was still in effect but the hotel didnâ€t offer any amenities breakfast or tried to make up for it, not even bottle water
Walked in feeling clean, walked out feeling like I risked getting covid 19. Sheets in my room were stained, counter tops werent wiped down, the carpet was sticky from people who stayed in the room before me who must of spilled their drinks or something. The lights in our room would flicker after being turned off. Walls are very thin so your gonna definitely here EVERYTHING! I messed up staying here.
Everything from the website not saying they were under construction to the check in text asking you to call for an early check in, to the dirty room the makeshift reception was in to the not knowing I requested early check in, to no t calling me when my room was ready, to the hallway reading of pot, to the super small tv with a ton of cords hanging out deserves a 1 Star. I will not be staying here ever again. Yuck!
In winter/spring of 2018 I had to call The Flamingo home for about 3 months due to mold abatement occurring in my own home. For a week my mom was with me and I needed to be in a handicap accessible room, the rest of the time I was in a standard room. The beds in the handicap room were quite form, which is necessary when one is transferring from bed to wheelchair. The beds in the standard room were very comfortable. The room and facilities are clean, staff is pleasant and accommodating & room service was tasty. They have a lot of events and are a place for locals to go dancing or dinner out.
The exterior part of the property was fine. The interior needs to be updated. The showerhead has visible residue/calcification that needs to be cleaned. The carpets needs to be replaced. The door to the bedroom needs to be replaced. The furniture also needs to be fixed/replaced. The water heater should have a greater capacity to accommodate all guests using hot water at the same time. The menu at the restaurant was ok, but could use some updating with healthier options as well as flexibility for meal service.
This place was really the worst experience ever. Two nights in a row I had to call the SRPD to the hotel because there was done guy waking around the parking lot talking about killing people. That was just the beginning.
I adore this place! I love the vintage vibe, from managers to staff all have an old school pleasant manner. Not only do they meet every need, they do so with cheerfulness, going above and beyond what you ask for. Don, the front desk manager was charming! I would leave it at that but literally every staff member I came in contact with from top to bottom was so courteous, making certain I had everything I needed or inquiring if I would need anymore. I am so sad I only got one long night there,
Friendly staff, beautiful grounds. Loved the suite, spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was good as well! I was there for business but will be back for a getaway SOON!
I love the Flamingo. Im also a former employee. A five star place ready to meet your every needs. Im always happy to go back there and see this historical landmark. Im looking forward to my next experience there. Happy holidays.
A little dated but nice.
Had an awesome experience here when I came out here awhile back, there was an event hosted by Wook Crew. My friends and I had a blast! Hope to see more in the future.
Skip this place. Upgraded room came with terrible service. Asked them at the front desk to make up room while we were out (for hours) so we could have people come up to our room mid afternoon. They said sure. Not only did they not do so, but when we asked to speak to a manager nobody called us. Truly horrible customer service. As for the restaurant... Forget it! Have you ever heard of a restaurant in California that cant serve a decent cup of coffee and serves juice from a can? There just MUST be a better place to stay.
Fun spot to enjoy time by the pool with friends and family. One of the older hotels in the area but still very decent. Music on weekends and dancing in lounge bar area. Not too updated rooms ... depending on the room you can still enjoy yourself. I like the patio rooms by the pool. Or some of the suites.
This is a very outdated hotel. The room smelled odd, and the furniture was not very functional. The sheets appeared old, and had a few old stains. The fridge was oddly placed in a tiny walk-in closet, really dated and didn’t work consistently. Rooms have a front and a back entrance which is very convenient. Hotel is in a good location, about 10 minutes driving from downtown area. I had limited interaction with staff, but everyone was very helpful and professional.
Great space, great gathering place. Good for families with large pool. Enough parking. Good space for events and music and dancing. Great local near downtown and shopping.
Could be so special sums the Flamingo up for me. The rooms are fine - comfortable bed clean bathroom, but a touch of character wouldnt go amiss. Things slide a tad when you get to catering: at every meal at least one of our party was comped due to late/non-arrival of their order. The menu needs a dispassionate Gordon Ramsay look - the meatloaf? Words fail, but the salads and the calamari were excellent. Breakfast was the low-point - remember the 70s? exactly. Croissants and coffee have moved on a long way since then. A word of sincere advice for anyone staying - take a 3 minute walk across the road to Hanks for breakfast. Service is great and food is just as good.
Was nice and clean during their remodel.
The property has the nostalgia feel. The pool layout around the rooms, you can vision how guests and stars relaxed. The room we had was upgraded and very nice size, bathroom was dated, but very clean.
Stairway had what looked like cleaning material spilled over several steps throughout stay. No prior notice of site wide construction project
Contrary to their website this place was neither clean Nor safe as a matter of fact my chihuahua was stolen from my room on the only night I stayed there.
Renovations as of date. Nice place and I love the nostalgia arena of this 50s retro hotel. Nice!!!
Awesome location, very 50s-esque. Excellent service, clean facilities, pool and eating area.Near Russian River Brewing.
Horrible place. Not resort at all worth it. Low class place! Flee infestation and chewed up furniture.
Historic charm, need to pay attention to details like the nasty ballroom wall showing around the curtains covering it. They get brushed aside and yeck!Staff is great, food good, smile more people. Short one star.
So clean. Spacious staff is Amazing
The hotel overall has that historic, 1950s boutique feel to it. The staff was friendly and the pool area is definitely one of the better hotel pool areas you will see. My biggest problem was with the room. It definitely seemed dated (which is understandable, because its a historic place), but a 2.5 inch gap at the bottom of the door exposed to the outside elements seemed a little strange. To clarify, this wasnt a door to an enclosed hallway, but to the actual outdoors. To rectify, I placed a towel at the base. When I opened the curtains, there was noticeable dust. Its possible that nobody stayed in that room for awhile (probably because of the gap.)There were a few other issues I had with this hotels amenities. First, it was a $15 a day charge to use the fitness club. Their website does state there is a fee, but $15/day just seems rediculously excessive. I was here for business and will most likely choose somewhere else to stay because of this. The other annoyance was that they boast about having a restaurant, however, to access it on a Wednesday night it cost a $12 entry fee due to some dance night. If you dont care about hotel gyms or hotel restaurants, then you dont have to worry about these inconveniences.Heres my Ironing Board Review for the business traveler:Ironing Board (8/10): The board had great, thick fabric. Opening/Closing mechanism worked very well and smooth. I knocked off points mainly because of the stains on the board fabric itself.Iron (7/10): The iron was old and had some hard water stains. It had a steam function but no puffing button. The reservoir door was missing causing dripping throughout the process. To iron 3 dress shirts and 3 dress pants, it took 2 water refills. It only got a 7/10 because it was a surprisingly effective iron that eventually got the job done.
Beautiful. Great service. Good food. Pet friendly.
We had a wonderful Easter brunch with the family.
Dont get me wrong, the place has potential, excellent heated pool, the hot tub is a party tub, but the bubbles is broken, the water squirts up high and splashes constantly in your face and ears, the bubbles hit you too hard on the back and is anything but relaxing. Nice place for conferences, and meetings, restaurant prices high, but everywhere in Santa Rosa restaurant prices are high so. Excellent location minutes away from everything you need, rooms are nice, kind of 70s - 80s feel, Dominos Pizza will deliver, great deal considering restaurant prices. The front desk is courteous and staff polite, but nobody goes out of their way to be helpful or nice. Parking Lot is almost frustrating, but manageable. If you stay here I highly recommend Ohanas Hawaiian BBQ down the street
This place needs an update badly and the good news is it is getting one this year. The staff is great and the plans sound cool. This should return to the gem it once was!
My Uncle Rob and Aunt Linda have Sunday service at the Flamingo. The Masters House. Great motivational service and a wonderful way to energize your week and faith! Plus the Flamingo has a buffet that I hear is pretty amazing!!!
Loved this place.. except no elevators. Didnt even think about that when they asked 1st or 2nd floor. Breakfast was awesome. Bed was so comfy. Room was spacious. Parking easy. Stayed on business so cant comment on resort amenities but will definitely come back.
This hotel is WAY WAY past its prime (40+ years ago, I imagine). It has long-term name recognition, I imagine, which keeps people returning to its filthy hallway carpets, poorly sound-insulated rooms, tiny double beds (no queens anywhere on site), and housekeepers told to rattle your door with their keys at 8:30 am if you dont put the do-not-disturb sign out (which has distinct sides [one for please clean me], and often shows the wrong side!). The carpets are the dirtiest Ive seen in a hotel in decades, and the counters are typically that very cheap plastic mold one sees in the lowest-cost construction for charity homes. If you are at all sensitive to sound and want to sleep well, try to get the very far end rooms, well away from the pools, with no one across from you and no one on the far side of your room, and BE SURE to put the Do Not Disturb sign up. I should mention that the drinks are not so good here (& are pricey), but the staff are reasonably nice (though some of the room cleaners will leave all their gear in the hallway and wont move anything out of the way for guests to walk by). Be sure to also ask for free tickets to the gym and lap pool (& tennis courts), or you wont be able to work out or swim laps. (The main pool is nice and long for lap swimming, but has no lane lines and is normally filled with playing children, so you cant swim laps there.) The pool area is nice, with a big redwood tree for natural shade in many spots. The food is fine. No glass allowed near pool, so be sure to pack drinks & such in plastic, with plastic cups. And be sure always RECYCLE. (There is only one recycling bin on the property that I could find, near the pool bar. There is NO recycling in the rooms, which is very sad to see and very unusual for most any hotel Ive been to, most anywhere in the world these days.) Wifi is too slow at many times of day, in the rooms & outside.
Old school. Heated pool, and hot tub - swimming in the winter! Easy walk to old school hillside cafe. Have I said old school enuf?
Best milkshakes ever
Good breakfast. Comfy beds. All around a cute and fancy place! The boiled eggs get chilled or boiled too long and you cant really peel them...had that issue every morning.
Pretty cool hotel from the 50s with a bigass pool in the middle. Rooms were clean and basic. Staff was friendly. Boss payed for the room so i dont know how much it was but i would gladly pay 100 to 120 dollars a night.
Friendly staff at checking in. Restaurant and bar area were enjoyable. Again, personnel were very nice. Food was delicious. Room was nice and clean and spacious.
It looks nothing like the pictures. Its run down. There was a large wet spot on the carpet in our room. It is LOUD. I reserved a breakfast for 15 the next morning and it took 20 minutes to get menus and coffee. They had a Mothers Day brunch going on and were very short staffed for the rest of us. We never received several orders, unfortunately the kids, so you can imagine how that went. The food was ok. The pool is wonderful. They need to provide a place for people to lock their bikes up. Some guy propped his against a tree and then lost it when a child from our party knocked it over. It was a miracle our kid wasnt hurt. This place is a never again.
Rooms were dirty and in disrepair. The bathroom light only 1/2 worked. The wine was soured and we were still charged $29. It was a $1000 weekend in what felt like an old motel. The place wants to be a nice hotel but the quality is just not there. We like the spa treatments but thats about it. Staying somewhere else next year.
Very difficult to pick the correct entrance door in pouring rain. Had several people knock on our door during our stay looking for their room.
Everthing was perfect.
Great place to stay in Santa Rosa, not sure went it is rated so low. Dont let the kitchy twirling neon flamingo fool you, its fun retro. The rooms are updated. Pool and patio area is nice and just off the restaurant that serves good food. Maybe a little over priced for what it is. Also has room service. Close to shopping village that has lots of additional great restaurants.
Our family had a great time here. The poolside service was pretty good but the food was nothing special. Overall great place to relax and have some good family time by the pool.
Wonderful stay always enjoy coming here. Great room. Wife loved the restaurant. She said it was over the top. Thank you Maria. The front desk staff. Very kind and helpful. Recommend to anyone want a romantic evening. Thank you.
Customer service was awesome. Lisa was great I had to call- it was late so i wasn’t sure if I still had a room. Lisa was polite and courteous and made sure everything ran smooth.
Very nice classic style resort. Super clean and relaxing environment.
They are the most helpful people inThe world and Aston and Tim are PERFECT
Good place to dance on the weekends. The club has a nice dance floor bands start on time and beverages are reasonable. I did not stay here so this review is limited to the music venue. In general the place is clean and well kept.
We had a great stay and a great time. The hotel is a little dated but we thought that was charming. The restaurant also seemed very nice. We never had dinner there but really enjoyed having happy hour in the pool side lounge area. Great atmosphere and central location. Thanks to the staff for a great experience.
Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel itself is very retro and nice. I would stay there again. I just dont think price you pay for the quality of the room is equivalent. I mean I guess for the area it is fair. The restaurant was delicious and nice staff. The little bar they have there was fun with their hair metal cover band.
No issues with staff, the remodel is hurting the experience right now and room are dated. I am hoping to return after the remodel and see the update.
Nice older resort hotel. Although the building layout is older, the rooms and bathrooms have been remodeled with a reasonable number of plugs for electronics. And being older, the rooms are a good size, rather than the skimpy modern rooms. And the people who work here are great. Everyone is helpful. I enjoyed my stay here.
Came for the reunion and it was not what I expected. The food was horrible. Cold, overcooked and flavorless. Sandwiches were good, but you cant screw up sandwiches. The desserts were pathetic-- cookies? So this is not a place to hold an event-- they wouldnt work with us and it cost way more than we got. Not worth the high price we paid.
Cute place to stay, but the outlets in our room were not all functioning properly. The toiletries were minimal, but the housekeeping staff was very helpful and sweet. Not the best place Ive stayed at and definitely not the worst.
Very relaxed property and its amenities and services are top-notch.The pool is terrific.
Nice resort with some of the stones yet I think they do a good jobbeing well-rounded and having a few different nice options including a saltwater pool and nice Jacuzzi.
We asked for a donation for a local non profit animal fundraiser and Flamingo was eager to be involved and donate. There is a reason that this hotel has been able to withstand the test of time and it is because they are an integral part of a loving and supportive community. Countryside Rescue and our animals recommends this place!
