I had the pleasure of attending KCRWs Left, Right and Center at The Broad Stage. The place is beautifully designed inside and out and overall feels as classy as the name it boasts. The theater is super comfortable and feels intimate even sitting in the balcony. Honestly, the whole experience was outstanding and I look forward to visiting again soon. There is a small cash counter with drinks and snacks that can be enjoyed in the lobby area, but not inside the theater.

Wonderful little theatre to watch a play.I saw the wonderful Alfred Molina and the strong Steven Webber in Lee Blessings A Walk in the Woods.Surprisingly contemporary and relevant.Excellent mini cakes and desserts.Highly intelligent people in the audience. Very large lobby.Memorable conversations after the show.A theatre experience for the ages.

Fantastic modern performance venue in the heart of Santa Monica! I recently saw a solo show here called C.S. Lewis Onstage in The Most Reluctant Convert by Max McLean and it was a phenomenal production. Its a great place to see a concert or performance.Pro Tips:- Sign up for their newsletter, so you can check out upcoming shows. They dont advertise a lot in the area, so the emails helped inform me about the show.

A beautiful venue.... An intimate setting and every seat is a great seat. The sound was on point for both musicians. Parking was great.There was a bar, but I didnt see any food/ snacks .... I had a hankering for some Junior MintsNice experience... Kudos to THE BROAD!!!

One of the best venues in Los Angeles. Beautiful theater, varied and first rate programming, huge free parking lot. They combine to make the Broad stage a great place to enjoy the theater.

Went to a performance of Carlo Ponti and his brother. It was wonderful! It was on a smaller stage and acoustics were fantastic. Staff at the Broad were very helpful and professional.

Good sight lines and sound clarity from any seat. House Manager Cameron is outstanding. Its valuable to support local theatre. The Broad has top notch performers at prices half of those downtown.

I went to see Stanley Clarke here, and the seating was really good and the sound system was really good. Exceptional concert and will be back for future events.

This has to be one of my favorite playhouses. The acoustic, the design and quality of artistic performances is truly outstanding.

The Broadstage is a world class Opera/Symphony and modern music concert hall. Beautifully arranged in the center of the City of Santa Monica only 11 blocks from Ocean Blvd.

I worked there a few days ago. It was a wonderful experience, although I do believe that they need more restrooms.

Good staff, the ballet show I was on had little children in it as well as adultsThe theatre itself is quite spacious, nice seats and everyone, even in back rows can see whats going on on stage perfectly well

First time here. Parking is easy if you get there early. Seating is not cramped, plenty of room to scoot by those already seated. Lovely theater.

Intimate theater, but not to small. I did get the box or what is known as the balcony mezzanine, which are the best seats. The parking is right there, no hassle and free.

Excellent collection of contemporary art. Wonderful architecture. Get there early to avoid lines if you dont want to pay for the exhibition.

Visited for Broad fest. food trucks, intimate musical performances, and open spaces for play and art. free parking as well must be mentioned. good times can be had here, for sure.

I went to the broad stage with my students 4 a performance and impromptu lesson by Dance Theatre of Harlem. Amazing facility. I have been here on three field trips and must say it is one of the best mid-sized venues in the Los Angeles area. Sound is excellent and seats are great anywhere in the theater. I have sat in the balcony and on the floor, and there is not a bad seat in the house. You are close enough to performers to hear very slight nuances, and specifics like the lightness of feet in ballet. If you have a show you are considering here, I highly recommend you go just for the space. I hope that the show is excellent as well!

Very beautiful modern theater in Santa Monica. Perfect size, not too huge, more cozy feel. Came here for a musical event. It seems that every seat you get provides a great view of the stage and the acoustics is awesome. There is ample free parking.

A lovely building for an intimate performance space; even a full house doesnt strain the common areas. Easies to park in their main lot. Ive only seen one performance there, but it was remarkable theater.

Beautiful concert hall with excellent acoustics and comfortable seating. A great place to see a performance.

The food and beer are the best, the service is outstanding as well, just a great place to get a good hot dog and a great beer.

Lovely venue! The interior lobby and stage are beautifully stylish in a minimalist fashion. Good sightlines, excellent sound and lighting, comfortable seats all support the great production of the Nutcracker Suite I saw. The lobby and performance space are well designed to facilitate good flow in and out at the beginning and end of performance, and also to give the audience space to mingle, enjoy refreshments, and talk to performers during the intermission. Look for announcements of productions here in the Santa Monica daily papers.

Beautiful venue!! My first visit was Sunday June 25 to see “Scare Pair: Usher House + The Canterville Ghost” by Gordon Getty. Not a bad seat in the house!!! Hope to see more performance at the Broad Stage!!

I really appreciate the convenience Broad stage offers. Parcking, and accessibility is a big plus. I always put a group of friends together depending on the type of show offered and they all love it.

Born This Way Production was so fantastic. Amazing venue with free parking and beyond helpfull staff. My shoe broke and they took my shoe backstage to fix it! Eric gave me rubber bands which held it together but went looking for stage crew. I was blown away they went so far out of their way to help make my visit enjoyable. Thank you to Eric and other staff who took pictures for us, box office and ushers. Your kindness made our day so much more enjoyable.

A medium sized modern theater that probably doesnt have very many bad seats in the house. Box office was quick and friendly. Theres free parking on site for the theater. A wide variety of performances here from music, dance, and plays.

I really love theater and I like this theater very much. The fact that it is only 499 seats makes it the perfect size so that every seat is a good one. They have an eclectic lineup that includes music and they take chances and have some avant-garde things and then they also have some very straightforward things like Shakespeare. They also have a family program. There is also ample free parking at this venue which is a real plus and it is easily accessible by local bus.
