A good event space which now being used by Disney+ for a week for their drive in screenings

Barker Hanger is a historic airplane hanger on the property of The Santa Monica Airport. Its used as event space for art shows, parties and all kinds of things. I was there for an art show. Fun show and a great space to be in.

Great place for events. Easy to reach, great location.Parking usually expensive (can be 20$!) But we are in LA so what do you expect.Also near by theres a small kids park, a dog park and a good burger joint.I love to go there for events.

Best place to organize any event where worlds famous brands and celebrities prefer to be. Really great location and easy to navigate for the guests. I had a great experience meeting so nice and humble people. Highly recommended.

A small Flying Museum, and today (Saturday March 23, 2019) an Art Fair and food trucksEclectic offerings: sculpture, oils, water colors, chalk. A perfect, brisk spring day.

I have attended PhotoLA ehxibit there. The parking is a little difficult. And the entrance to the building was located on the back of the Hangar. The price to attend the show was about $20 for a day and $20 for parking. I felt both fees were a little too much.A good experience of you want to look and admire. I would rather see a movie next time.

At the FIDM Fashion Club Debut Party and Fashion Show

Ive never been to an art gallery and it was pretty nice. I got so see so many artist from around the world who have their own way of painting attend. I liked seeing the hard work and dedication that went into everyones individual art. I also liked the stickers I got, Ill put them on my laptop. Nice experience, I wouldnt mind doing it again.

Super cool space. Depends on the event how great the experience is going to be. Sometimes its way over crowded, other times its ideal and a perfect secluded get away.

Very big. Very dark. No bathrooms. Uneven temperatures.

We had a wonderful time at the opening of Photo LA. Its great to have the show back at the Hangar!

Was here for EEEEEATSCON. Space was cool with indoor/outdoor food vendors and activations, panel tents, and music inside.

Awesome little store with lots of history and a very knowledgeable staff. This is a must see at The Santa Monica airport!

Awesome place for events

Very spacious and welcoming. I was there for Jaguars Electrifies Event, where they were showing off the new Jaguar F-Type & I-PACE vehicles. The I-PACE had its own closed circuit course just right outside of the venue that was a lot of fun. Inside, there was plenty of space for the numerous vehicles Jaguar had on display.

Drafty. Big.For as many award shows and tv/film shoots that come here, the bathrooms are not great. Theyre like a combination of all the old, splintery, old west outhouses.

Solid event venue, but how good it is really depends on what you do with the space-- the hangar itself is like a blank canvas with a slightly rough parking lot.Actually the lot itself is fine, its more the edges of the lot that need a little work as you enter/exit.

Good place for a trade show. Easy to get to. Free parking. Needs better and permanent bathrooms instead of Pota Potties.

Great venue with a ton of space. Ive attended two events here and its awesome how easily event coordinator can change the interior to look like a completely different venue each time.

Always attend large Art events here. slwsys a great venue. Can get a bit chilly in winter. Bring a sweater.

There was nothing special went for the addias clearance sale.

Ive been in two different events in this venue and always had a good time, not a good looking place but spacious enough. The only negative thing is the parking that can get messy and expensive.

I went to the ALAC show. Its a cool location for events.

Huge open space that is great to run an event or shoot a television show or movie in the staff is friendly they will assist you in any way they can they have a lot of contacts if you dont know who to contact to help build your event parking is included its located at the Santa Monica Airport so theres not a lot of traffic

Nice space for events, the Jaguar electrifies event that was held there had plenty of room for all of the displays

Food was just okay. Not worth the price. This is the third one Ive been to and Ive had the same experience at all of them. My scallops were over cooked, and the New England clam chowder was very bland. Everyone at my table had the same opinion about their food.

Sachi art show is amazing

They host many award ceremonies here. Pretty cool.

If youre a fan of planes or if you just live close to Santa Monica, chances are youve been here. As for me, I was recently here for an event and this place is known to lease out the hanger for plenty of events that requires a bit of parking.You know me and parking, I dont like paying. So if you like an alternative without having to disrupt the children at the park nearby, you can park by the streets that crosses Bundy with a short 15 minute walk. Otherwise, parking is usually $10 here for most events and a bit more for valet.Attended the Los Angeles Food and Wine and it was decked out pretty well and very good use of the whole space. Bathrooms, of course are the nicer portables still. The inside is air conditioned so it actually feels quite luxurious and comfortable inside.

Interesting home furnishings, all unique and high end. They even have scented soap

Went for LuxePack, great venue and ample parking.

Good place for an event or presentation right by the Santa Monica airport. Small complicated parking area.

Its ok you just have to search for the goodies because people are messy.

One of the largest spaces in LA County for television filming. Always well-rounded events being filmed there.

This is a good location for events, the parking seems to be a little bit aways from the venue and it seems kind of out of the way.

Attended the WestEdge Design Fair here in November 2016 - great venue and a coastal environment

Great little place for parties and shows.

If youre going to The Whiskey X event at this location, dont bother with VIP tickets. Organisers will take your money, not give you anything for it then ghost you when you try to get in touch.

Only visited for an Adidas clearance sale. Good lookong venue, but I doubt I experienced it in its true form.
