Great place to walk or hike with your family or dog. Dinosaur Park is great for kids and has a great view. Also great for kids is the animals area (donkeys!). Plan in advance though. Not easy to find and requires signing up at front Visitors Center. You will want to refer to a map of the trails the first few times you visit (or every time if you have a terrible sense of direction like me ). Guided trail walks and educational sessions by volunteer docents also available.

Its an extended open area and various routes to choose from. And there is a check in and out facilities. My first time and for sure I will be go back.

Good trails. The ones on the back side of the park are pretty grown over, but rideable. GMountain bike trails are easy but fun. Good beginner trails.

This 800 acres of open space has plenty of trail space for hikers, horsemen, and mountain cyclers. Yes, wild life abounds, beautiful vistas. Be prepared with hydration and be aware the restrooms are port-a-potties (well maintained). Not for the casual walker, climbing and various terrain give a good workout.

A great trail just about any time of the year. Tremendous views of the surrounding hills and coastal Valleys. Cool little corral with a couple of friendly donkeys. Bring your dog but please pick up your bag

Make sure you BRING some TICK SPRAY as they are rampant during this time. (spring-summer) The nice guy at the front who checked us in told us the ticks do not carry diseases, and that they are just annoying. Our dogs and us were not prepared and attacked violently by the ticks. Other than that this place is beautiful.

Awesome trails, many options free to bring Horse . Pet friendly. Great place for the family. The spring time is the best amazing views beautiful blooms everywhere. This place is also very educational. Diffrent difficulty level trails. Great for hiking ridding horses and bikes.

The only local truly outdoor experience. Wonderfully managed with great programs. Take advantage of it before the new landfill goes in.
