Nice winery. Host in tasting room was very nice. We enjoyed our tasting and purchased one of Kenneth Volk mystery wine cases. 3rd time and enjoyed this offering. Well worth it. 10 Reds and 2 whites for less than $150 a case. Nice wines. Worth a visit. Kenneth Volk.has bee making wines in this area for years.
Great selection of wines for tasting. Never disappointed with the quality of the wine.
Terrific winery. Usually a quiet out of the way tasting experience. Good for a picnic out back. What’s unique here is Kenneth Volk’s wine making. It’s rare to find so many varietals (15 +/-), all done so well. Many unusual types. Visiting is fun and educational if you are in that mood.
Absolutely fantastic! A must for anyone who loves to learn more about the craft
Awesome unique wines. Rare varietals, huge tasting menu. Luxury wines at bargain prices. Friendly tasting room staff.
Nice spot with solid wines and friendly staff.
Great wines. Friendly people
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Very quaint and intimate. Private tastings by appointment on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Delicious Reds! So many good ones. We normally stay near Los Olivos but we drive out here frequently.
Its a little off the beaten path but is always worth the trip. The wines are unique and excellent.
We visited the winery on January 23, 2012. The wine is fantastic, especially the 07 Tempranillo, 07 Pinot Noir, and 08 Petite Sirah. Unfortunately, the experience was shadowed by the service which was provided by an individual who obviously felt that pouring wine to tourists was beneath him. He could not even make eye contact with us and was monosyllabic at best. We would like to visit the winery again during our Fall 2012 trip but frankly, if I go in the door and Mr. Grumpy is there, I will turn around. There are lots of other wineries in the area to visit.
Its a great place
Love the wine!!!!
GREAT!!!
