Love the place and the pottery. I went crazy and bought a lot of Angela Kirkland’s pieces (plates, mug, tumblers, etc). Overall, many great, beautiful potteries by various artist. Highly recommended.
We chose Paseo Pottery at part of my birthday celebration and had a wonderful time! We all made two pieces, chose the glazes and waved goodbye knowing our little treasures would have to complete their journey before we would see them again. There were about 8 of us in the class laughing and spinning and making a mess, it was glorious! It was a delight to open up the well packed box to see what we had created! I highly recommend Paseo for a creative and relaxed evening!
Lovely shop with beautiful, unique pottery.
Great experience! We had a wonderful time creating two unique ceramic items using both wheel and hand forming techniques! Highlight of our trip!
My teenage daughter and I had a private lesson with Angela and loved it! She is a great teacher, and the studio and gallery are gorgeous. We are from Kansas but we get to Santa Fe often and will definitely be back to Paseo for more mud and art.
Wandered into this lovely shop when I walked past and saw the sign. While I was in there Angela informed me that they were having a class today at 1pm. So I returned at 1 and had a fantastic class! It was my first time making pottery and it was a blast. Angela was a fantastic teacher and Adair was a wonderful assistant. In 2 hours I made 2 bowls and a kind of dodgy cup, and I’m so happy I was able to attend the class. Plus they donate their profits to local charities as well as Angela and Adair donating their time!
The most authentic pottery shop in Santa Fe. They truly do it for the art of it, and to supply their families with beautiful dishes!
Met Janet Williams who arrived as I was peeking though the windows into the studio/shop and she was full of smiles from start to finish. There are so many artistic displays of various colors and shapes that it was total eye candy. I enjoyed my time with Janet and hope to return to the studio again. If I lived in Santa Fe I would love to take a class or two as I have minimal experience with throwing pots. Thank you Janet for a lovely experience.
The studio space is warm and inviting with lots of beautiful pottery. Took a wheel class with the owner, Angela, which was well instructed and so much fun. Bonus; beer from the local brewery, Tumbleroot, was included and soo delicious! Will be coming back again soon!
If you are looking for pottery this is a nice little gallery with quality pots and all of the profits go to charity.
