Unique store, knowledgeable proprietor. He doesnt suffer fools kindly.

I really enjoyed speaking with the owner of this gallery. He was direct, maybe short, with some customers but I found this to be kind of amusing to be honest. He was very knowledgeable, his collection was fantastic, and his prices were fair (even on a teacher’s salary). I wandered in with my boyfriend for fun and spent almost an hour looking and chatting a bit. Came home with this Richard Martinez print that I just love.

A GREAT selection of Art. I especially enjoyed the collection from Teseque Pueblo Tribal Artist, Bobby Vigil! BEST tribal artist Ive ever seen!

Couple of years ago I came in contact with Stephen on the ground floor of a mall. I found him to be an amazing person. He helped me to find the kind of art work that I was looking for. The more I searched for his credentials I was amazed with him. I would love to visit him again.

The artwork is very interesting and seems to be fairly priced. However, the owner can be very rude. He likes to compare his prices to a gallery across the street . However, its more helpful to do an Internet search including pieces on eBay for comparative value. Evidently, he can snap at some customers but be nice to others. We are all customers.

Every purchase we have made throughout the years has been well priced. The art seems to change every time we visit. Steve knows both art and artists so there are stories that attach to every piece. You should visit if only to meet Steve and get information on the local scene. This is on our must visit list every trip.

I left the gallery feeling very disrespected. The older gentleman who assisted us turned out to be nothing short of rude. In fact the customers who came in after us also left because of his snide attitude. Its a shame because the artwork in the store was beautiful. Two lost sales in a matter of minutes.

Rude proprietor. There were works on the walls that were clearly prints (they were numbered) but he insisted they were original works. On our way out he said “ you’re welcome” before we said thank you or goodbye. Don’t go in this place unless you want to be insulted.

All of his ledger art is scotch taped to the window and ever place. It looks very un professional! He doesnt care ! He treats his artists as rude as most of his customers!
