Awesome reserve. Uncrowded and full of unusual endemic plants and animals. Trails are well marked and maintained. Feels very different than the rest of the county.
Great views on part of the trail, but the Northeast section is very overgrown and barely passable in places
This is a nice little walk that loops through Redwood groves, sandy and riparian areas, and some of the fire areas from several years ago. There are also views of the Pacific Ocean from several spots on the trail. Parking near the Fire Station works well.
Origin of several fires
Diverse surroundings. Beautiful.
Sand hills habitat. Limited trails.
