Mostly secluded, but we went in the early afternoon and a lot of people were there. Other times I have had it all to myself!! Highly recommend for hanging out and playing games, but not so much for swimming

Nicely hidden cute beach. Worth checking out as you are hiking on Wilder to Ohlone. Can see seals from there on a good day. It’s secluded and quiet.

Very cool hidden jem. If youre already at Wilder Ranch, take the time to walk down to this grotto. Well worth the minimal effort.

Nice quiet beach in a cove that featured a cave and a view of sunbathing sea lions. A nice hike too.

Lovely, quiet, little beach right off of a trail from Wilder Ranch State Park. The trail down to the beach is very steep, a little overgrown and at times slippery. Not a trail for strollers. There are some small cave like spots and nesting birds.

Secluded, sandy, and dramatic. With caves and nooks.

This is part of Wilder Ranch State Park - the fern grotto looks like a cave from the trail which is higher up - didn’t really pay attention to this feature until prompted here by google maps (probably because I’m a local) - so just three stars - but Wilder overall is 5 stars. Great for beach picnics and short bike ride - I think your bike limited on coast side of highway to 5 miles groomed trails but more with single track grass paths.....

Cute little beach. It was windy the day we went and got sandblasted. Our picnic lunch was a bit crunchy. Check the wind forecast before going. Treacherous hike down a washed out trail to get to the beach. Its fine for able adults, but nerve racking if you have a kid strapped to you. Not too crowded, just a couple other families.

Scenic simple walk, with some mild exploration. Some beaches to walk down to but I would keep the small ones away from the water in most places.
