Agua Dulce Winery is a lovely place a little ways outside of the city where you can go have some wine and take some beautiful pictures. They have animals and really pretty scenic views. It was a nice little getaway during these Covid times. The wine samples were not my favorite, personally, but Im sure they have other options available.
It was a amazing experience the staff where helpful and kind we came all the way from Lancaster California and would want to come back soon.....ask for Steve one of the best guys their
Such an enjoyable brunch. Manager Steve was so knowlegable. Staff was well organized and kept things flowing.
They are following all coronavirus guidelines for the public. Social distancing and mask enforcement efforts are being followed by staff and guests. Plenty of outdoor tables, most in shade or with umbrellas. The cheese and wine flights were yummy. Stop by, have some great wines and visit the barnyard. Cheers!
Such a wonderful place to have so close to Santa Clarita. Quality wines with a really fun wine tasting experience. Come with friends and enjoy!
Great place to enjoy our anniversary and bring our four year old. She can run around while we relax and enjoy very good wine :)
Stopped in for a wine tasting and were impressed by how good the wines were! Tasting is $10 per person and we even purchased a meat and cheese tray to enjoy along with it. They offer one white wine (Chardonnay), several reds, and a port. Vineyard is beautiful and we were fortunate to catch the sunset there. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
My dad, his girlfriend and I stopped by here on the way back from Vazquez Rocks to Lancaster We saw a sign on the road and decided to go. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the tasting was $10 per person (!!!) for 5 wines. My fave was the merlot, but the Syrah blend 64(?) seemed to be a hit. Would totally recommend anyone to hit them up for a good old California experience. Very family-friendly too, saw lots of little kids here.
It was crazy hot but so much fun with friends and great wine.
We were there today and were helped by Gianna. She was amazing and helpful. Answered all our questions. Later my boyfriend proposed and she was kind enough to take us out back despite there not being tours on the weekdays to take our picture. The gazebo is a wonderful place and I bet the vineyards are beautiful when green. Steve gave us great marriage advice. The 2016 20th anniversary Cabernet was amazing. This place will live in our history.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! Staff is knowledgable and super friendly. Had the pleasure of meeting Steve, who I assume is the owner or general manager, and he was extremely courteous. Would definitely recommend
Deb our server was very nice and knowledgeable about her wineries wine
This is our favorite local winery, which is why we are wine club members. The wine is very good (full, rich bodied reds and fairly dry whites), the vineyards are fun to visit and the tasting room is always busy. They also have wine tours but before you sign up for one, look for discounted tickets on Livingsocial or Groupon. The wine tour was how we were introduced to the winery. If youre on their email list youll also get occasional emails informing you of their public activities, some of which are free and some requiring a fee. And the best thing, for we hikers, is its proximity to Vasquez Rocks. We always make a long afternoon with a hike at the rocks and a relaxing time at the winery with a glass of wine and snacks. Our dog gets to sit with us on the patio or at the picnic tables out back. Its worth the trip, even if youre in LA!
Agua Dulce is amazing! We came here with the groupon which is about $40 for 2 people - it includes wine tasting, 2 glasses to take home with, a tour, and a lunch! Yes, real lunch with a sandwich, potato salad, and cookie (I fully expected cheese and crackers). The tour itself was actually quite educational and I enjoyed it. In my experience, the tasting tours or classes you participate in at wineries at more about learning how to be a wine connoisseur. This one actually walks you through the whole wine making process from beginning to end, and they show you the machinery and equipment they use. So cool. We tasted about 4 wines during the tour itself and then afterwards, you get to keep the glass and go back to the bar to taste whatever you want. They are a small winery and only had about 9 or 10 wines on their menu for 2019. We tried all of them - they are known more for their reds (only one chardonnay, although it was really good). I was sad that they ran out of their rose already for the season. Overall, this place is a super chill spot to hang out with your friends and family - they even let you bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy out on their patio while you enjoy a glass of wine. They have some animals on their property including llamas, chickens, bunnies, goats! Lots of great picture opportunities. It is worth the drive to come out here for a nice afternoon.
We had a wedding reception here. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. There’s so much to do on the grounds from horseshoes to corn hole and even animals for the kiddos to look at.We had a wonderful time and Steve and Sue-Ann were extremely accommodating. The catering was exceptional and beyond our expectations.
We are members and have been coming here for years. It is a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.....but within a short easy and pleasant drive. It is hard for me to write this review as I feel that it will encourage more people to visit (I like places with less people), but Agua Dulce Winery deserves this review. The wine is delicious, the people are friendly, especially the manager.....he is fantastic! Bring your children, there are animals out back as well as many shoe horse pits and plenty of room to run! My suggestion is to buy some sandwiches and buy a bottle of wine. There are plenty of places around the property to sit and enjoy the clean air, some food and of course, sip the tasty wine!We love it here!
This is the place if you want a nice quite place to sit and relax with some delicious wine. We also did the wine tour. Steve our guide was a enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The lunch that was served was delicious. Lots of great sampling.
My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the Groupon winery tour. The tour lasts 2 hours and includes a nice sandwich lunch (vegetarian options exist). Our tour guide was extremely engaging and passionate about wine-making.We also bought a nice bottle of wine to enjoy later. Thanks for a great tour!
This was a great winery to visit for my mother and myself. It was our first time ever doing wine tasting. So I took my mother for her birthday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming like family. I loved the ambiance, wine, and staff. We shall return again. Check them out and have a picnic.
My daughter purchased a wine tasting tour and lunch package as a surprised birthday gift. Although I dont really drink I was enticed to take some sip of their wines. I was so impressed by our knowledgeable host STEVE and their wonderful staff. This place is really worth the drive folks give it a try and youll definitely leave with a smile.
Friendly server. Knows her wine and offers great advice. Recommend going for wine tasting. Great selection of wines to choose from.
Amazing experience! The manager gave us a first hand tour, tasted from barrels and really was knowledgeable of the wine on hand. Also becoming a member is super affordable (you just buy wine at a discounted rate!). Great local find with great local wine!
Love this place, so welcoming. Shannon, Sue Ann, Deborah, Steve & Joey....appreciate all of you..
My wife and I loved this winery! We took a tour of the winery and our guide Steve told about the entire process of winemaking from beginning to end. We even got to taste two different wines from the barrel, one young and one ready to be bottled. We also got to see where they bottled and labeled the wine which was really cool. After the tour they provided a small picnic lunch which they recommended nice pairings for. Unfortunately it was raining so we had to eat inside, but the rain didnt stop us from going outside and exploring! They have a nice big area for horseshoes and other games, along with some farm animals including chickens, rabbits, and a goat. The entire staff was knowledgable and very friendly and they made our experience unique and memorable. I would highly recommend checking them out on groupon or on their website!
Could not have a better local Winery. Love this place and the peeps that own/run it. Very satisfied Member since 2015. Great vino, terrific blends, and beautiful facility/vineyard, and only 30 short minutes away. If you own a Business, get a membership. Its a Terrific way to recognize either employees or key customers any ltime of the year with a hand picked bottle.
Great staff and winery tour. Limited varieties of wine offered at the winery & all are expensive. They are excellent though!! The Winery Gift Store has nice gift items and yummy jars of spreads for crackers...etc.
Stopped in a few weeks ago with my husband and we had such a great time with the staff, so easy to talk to and we did a wine tasting and enjoyed each taste. Walked away with smiles on our faces and a couple bottles of vino for the road. Will definitely be back!
A lovely setting for wine tasting with a view. Cold temperatures in the winter, pleasant in spring & fall, hot in the summer. Good, friendly staff and good wine. You forget youre in the desert in this bucolic setting.
Unexpectedly good. Learned a lot, nice wines, beautiful grounds. You should go.
Had a wonderful Sunday here. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a groupon that includes wine tasting, a guided tour and a picnic lunch. I think we had 6 tastings all in all. I wasnt too wow-ed by the wines, but the tour itself was enjoyable and smooth. You can tell that Steve, our tour guide, has done this countless times with his team. Highly recommended. Oh, and when the tour is over, be sure to head to the tasting room and try the wines that you did not get to try during the tour. Then get a glass of something you like to go along with your picnic lunch, and sit outside on the picnic tables facing the vineyard. Great way to spend an afternoon.
I went to tour this winery and had the opportunity to meet Amy. Not only did she give us the best wine tour of all time but she made us feel right at home. We came in from out of town and she made the whole day! I wish I could give 10 stars! We are definitely going back as soon as we can!
Fun winery to visit. Close to home. Nice grounds with picnic tables. Bring snacks to have with your wine.
